Chapter 14: Strongest Youth Competition (final part)

Yun Weizhi gets on the ring as he looked at the other participants who are also at the same ring as him.

Most of them are older than him by a year or several years but their cultivation is only a level higher than his. He noticed one youth who was also calmly looking around him, this youth must be Nu Futian.

Yun Weizhi can sense that Nu Futian is at the 4th layer Body Refinement Realm, he also possesses a strange elemental attribute which is different from what a normal wind is. Yun Weizhi remembered that there is this one possibility where there will be a variant of the said elements.

Based on what have Yun Weizhi can sense from this strange elemental attribute, it may be a Dark Wind attribute or a Death Wind attribute. It is not a dual attribute but a mix of two attributes which is very rare and there are only a few people who know about this.

"Well, I have to make it look like I am struggling here and used 'Insta-flash' again to make them think that I can't use it anymore." Yun Weizhi thought as he moved to the center of the ring.

Holding the Stormbreaker on his hand, he looks really intimidating carrying that large ax, the participants avoided him like he is some kind of plague. There is no one who will be stupid enough to attack him first.

The second round had already started and yet no one had attacked him since the beginning. It is like no one wanted to taste the might of his mighty ax. So Yun Weizhi just stood there in the middle calmly as he watched them fight with each other.

His attention was attracted to what was happening at the East ring, Bai Yu had actually get off the ring which means she surrendered. She might have already found what she was looking for, incidentally, there gaze meet and Bai Yu paused for a few seconds before nodding at him.

Yun Weizhi was a bit surprised but he didn't forget to also nod at her. He has a good impression of that girl since she acts differently from others of her age and she is also really strong despite being young.

He is confused as he can't remember any character in the novel with the name Bai Yu or someone that uses the Dragon Tail. She may have appeared in the later chapters of the novel but he had no idea about that since he had only read it until chapter 500.

A loud explosion was heard which come from the West ring, everyone's attention was attracted to what had happened as they all turned their heads to look at what had happened.

On the West ring, all the participants are all out of the ring, the only people left are Yun Yao and Chu Xinghe. Everyone can see that Yun Yao was also holding a large spear which is the same size as Bai Yu's spear.

While Chu Xinghe was using a sword passed down by their family from generation to generation. Holding the sword that gives off an ancient feeling, he looks like a small sword saint that had once become really well known in the continent.

He was looking at Yun Yao arrogantly, but deep inside him, he was slightly worried. Just earlier, when their weapon clashed, he had to use a large amount of spiritual energy just to negate Yun Yao's attack.

If they are to clashed three-four times, he may not be able to hold on any longer and might be defeated. Chu Xinghe did not expect Yun Yao to be this strong, even though he is at the 4th layer Body Refinement Realm, he still felt danger from Yun Yao's attack.

Insta-flash. The move that allowed Yun Weizhi to move in an instant behind Bai Yu is a lightning attribute movement technique. But Yun Yao forgot that Yun Weizhi had told her to only use that technique when she is sure that she can hit her opponent because it consumes a lot of spiritual energy.

Yun Yao used 'Insta-flash' and she instantly appeared behind Chu Xinghe, just as she was about to strike him with her spear, no spiritual energy came out of her body which means that she is out of spiritual energy.

Chu Xinghe was caught off guard by what happened next and he nearly wet his pants, luckily for him, Yun Yao is out of spiritual energy because if not, then he might be bedridden for months now.

The spear still hit Chu Xinghe though it didn't contain any spiritual energy, that still made Chu Xinghe flew several meters with just Yun Yao's physical strength.

The crowd gasped at what they saw and were even more shocked when they saw Yun Yao fell on the ground. Completely exhausted of spiritual energy as she can't even move her body anymore.

"*sigh….I still lost huh?" Yun Yao smiled in disappointment as she saw Chu Xinghe standing up. She then lost consciousness because of her exhaustion.

Chu Xinghe stared at the lying Yun Yao with disbelief, then it turned into astonishment then into raged. He was the proclaimed number one genius in Central State, how dare her to hit him like this.

This is unforgivable, truly unforgivable!

I must kill her! She must die! She had to pay for what she has done!

The crowd noticed Chu Xinghe's strange behavior, they looked at him as he slowly walked towards Yun Yao while he was holding his sword. Everyone's attention was focused on him as they all followed him in their sights.

Step by step, Chu Xinghe slowly approached Yun Yao. He was also slowly raising his sword, everyone seems to have realized what he wanted to and they can't help but be shocked.

Chu Xinghe wants to kill Yun Yao.

Yun Tianhe who was looking at what was happening was really nervous so he anxiously shouted at the judge, "Hey idiot! Yao'er is already unconscious, announce the winner already!"

The judge looks at Yun Tianhe, then he looked at Chu Shanhe who was giving him a signal with his eyes to not to do it. The judge can only sigh as he knew that he will become a scapegoat at this moment, he only hopes that his family will be properly taken care of.

Yun Tianhe saw that the judge is not responding to what he had just said and even decided to look like he didn't hear a thing. "Damn it!"

Yun Tianhe decided to take matters into his own hands but just as he was about to take action, Chu Shanhe blocked him. Angered by this, Yun Tianhe yelled at Chu Shanhe.

"What are you doing?!" Yun Tianhe yelled.

"Old Yun, you have to follow the rules, since Yun Yao didn't say that she surrendered the match is still going. I know that Chu Xinghe knows what he is doing so he will not do anything excessive." Chu Shane said with a calm expression, righteously saying things like he is some sort of saint.

But in truth, he is also really angry that Chu Xinghe was caught off guard and can only let Yun Yao hit him, luckily for him, Yun Yao didn't have any spiritual energy left, things would have been different if she has even a small amount of spiritual energy.

"You…" Yun Tianhe can see through Chu Shanhe's act. How could he not know what this guy is thinking, he must save his precious granddaughter!

"Old Yun, you should really stay here." Luo Liancheng also stood up as he also stops Yun Tianhe. Ye Wudao had also stood up but even though he didn't say anything, him standing at the side of the other two, Yun Tianhe knew that they would stop him if he were to do something.

These three family heads knew how much potential Yun Yao has, if she is allowed to continue growing in the future, she may become a force to be reckoned with when that time comes.
