Yuuma woke up four in the morning getting himself washed and dressed, by the time he was out the other two was still asleep, looking at Ao and Kiyo who ignored his dilemma, Yuuma went over to kick open the room while scream "Demonic Illusion style: Bed Wetting Nightmare" Hearing this both Ao and Kiyo spit out their breakfast looking at the open door with ghastly faces, 'D-Did he just used genjutsu to wake someone up?'

"AAAA!!!!" Suddenly a horrifying scream was heard from Tomotoki's room but Yuuma was already at the next room kicking the door open, it must have been Mina's good luck she woke up the moment TOmotoki screamed or she too would have wet her bed from having a nightmare, although Yuuma had a lighter punishment in idea for her but since she was awake he turned and left the room.

But the sobbing sounds from Tomotoki's room could be heard, when Mina went inside to check what was going on she was shocked to see Tomotoki's bed was complete soaked and smelled horrid. "G-Go out!" Tomotoki chased Mina out of the room as he cleaned his room before coming out to get himself washed and dressed after Mina when he faced Yuuma he could only shiver.

"That was punishment as you know our time given was six in the morning but it will take us an hour to reach there so we need to leave in the next twenty minutes if I left you to sleep we would have been late and failed the exam" Yuuma explained his reason for using such a method although he used this to teach him a lesson to sleep lighter in enemy territory.

Kiyo stood up walking with Tomotoki as she began to explain how dangerous it was for him to sleep so deeply, but since it was a chunin exam it was the responsibility of a teammate to point this out for him but Yuuma did more than just point it out and instead gave Tomotoki a trauma that will cause him not to sleep pleasantly unless it was his home.

Ao, "So Yuuma, how is your training going?" Ao asked since he did not want to deliberately ask what that dangerous sounding genjutsu was that Yuuma used to wake up Tomotoki, "It's going well, I should be fine with one hand seals with most of my jutsus while those I am most proficient in no longer requires them." Yuuma answered while finishing up his breakfast.

Ao, "By the way, what was that genjutsu just now?" Hearing this question Yuuma's face formed a sinister smile "It's a good technique to use on sleeping enemies or allies, it will cause the user to have a real nightmare scary enough to cause their bladder to work overtime for a short duration" Yuuma explained but the more he did, the more Ao felt his face was getting colder. 'Such a man pride destroying jutsu...' Ao thought.

After Tomotoki and Mina finished their breakfast they followed Yuuma out of the room in a rush to reach the mountain with a white crack formed naturally from the bottom of the mountain up to the peak, getting out of the village was what took long since the Kumo Shinobi's had to inspect each one but Yuuma had himself and the other two transform their uniform into Kumo uniforms which assisted them to get assisted faster.

By the time Yuuma and the rest arrived there were fifteen teams around of which were only Kumo genins, there was still 30 minutes to go so Yuuma dispelled his uniform causing the Kumo ninjas to look at him with shocked expressions 'He tricked the gate guards to get here early!? How did they know of our plans to delay the other teams?' One of the Kumo Examiner thought while looking at Yuuma with some trace of respect although they were not Kumo shinobis.

Mina, "Yuuma how did you know they would help us faster if we have Kumo Ninja outfits on it?" Yuuma turned to glance at Mina with a smile, "It's because we are in their turf, so naturally they will make it difficult for their competitors. At least they are not as petty as the Iwagakure ninjas" Yuuma explained to Mina, it appears these two ninjas were not used to politics or hidden tricks in such occasions.

When there were five minutes left the rest of the ninja teams arrived while panting heavily from running all the way from the village to here, from the numbers of teams:

15 were Kumogakure (Village Hidden by Clouds),

1 from Kirigakure (Village Hidden in the Mist),

6 from Iwagakure (Village Hidden by Rocks),

7 from Konohagakure (Village Hidden in the Leaves),

6 from Sunagakure (Village Hidden by Sand),

2 from Shimogakure (Village Hidden in Frost),

3 from Amegakure (Village Hidden by Rain),

The examiner glances at everyone with a sinister smirk as he begins "Now that everyone is here, let me tell you the first preliminary. You have to climb up this mountain without using any kinds of weapons nor ninjutsus. You may use your chakra in your endeavour, but before you can start please sign your name and signature as well will not be held accountable for your..."

Before the examiner finished speaking the clouds began to gather unexpectedly and began raining all of the sudden followed by thunderclaps high up in the skies, seeing this the students became pale as lightning began to strike the mountains while some even diverted from the lightning rod and slammed elsewhere. "Death... So if you wish to give up, then do so now instead of wasting our time" Hearing the examiners voice the Kumo genins began to smile mockingly at the other ninja groups who already began to turn and leave, they were here to promote to chunins not to die before they do reach it.

After a while, only 20 teams were left with still a representative of each of the five main villages that arrived today, "Tomotoki, don't you dare leave. You think they would allow their students to go up the mountains to die?" Hearing Yuuma's question allowed Tomotoki to calm down, but those loud thunderclaps were truly nerve-wracking. The Examiner heard Yuuma's explanation could not help but acknowledge this boy's observation skill including his ability to calm down his teammate.

"Congratulations, you all have passed the first phase" The examiner muttered, "The second phase is naturally going up this mountain, you can choose your path to the peak but remember those who seek the unknown tend to get rewarded" Yuuma who heard the examiner's last words began to brood over it while everyone else was getting ready, "Begin!"

Yuuma held back Mina and Tomotoki for a moment before running towards the mountain, as they ran Yuuma noticed the fact that most of the teams were heading towards the white cracks to run along the line, 'I see, unknown huh?' Yuuma glances at other pathways, "If you two wish to make it for the next round, trust me and follow me regardless of how difficult it gets" Yuuma muttered with power behind his voice that gave the two of them confidence and trust in Yuuma as the three of them separate from the crowd.

"To think there would be someone who would think about the meaning behind my word... Although there is no hidden meaning behind it" THe examiner spoke while chuckling, he used those words deliberately to have the smarter ones fall for the trick and run along the dangerous road but even Yuuma knew this so he chose to run close enough to the white cracks fora while to see if the tip was true or false.

"Yuuma, look at that Kumo genin" Tomotoki pointed at a Kumo Ninja that was running while his body was cloaked in lightning chakra, it was not against the rules since he is only using chakra but this is really a loophole. Yuuma activated his eyes to view the chakra network of this specific ninja to see how the chakra flow and at which acupoints the change in chakra nature occurs, on the move Yuuma was replicating the method the genin was using to enhance his body with lightning which Yuuma succeeded thus made him a mobile lightning rod which began to attract the lightning strikes away from Tomotoki and Mina.

"YUUMA!" Mina called out but Yuuma came out of the dust while only his clothes were a bit charred but Yuuma himself was still fine, "No need to worry, I only had trouble at the instant I forgot to earth myself" Yuuma explained while the three of them maintain their speed to stay in the middle with teams running ahead and teams behind, soon teams began falling down the mountains after being struck by lighting, 'Heh, to think the instructor would lie but also speak the truth... The so-called unknown should be a different hidden pathway instead everyone is running up the mountains'

Yuuma used his eyes to look at the mountain to realize there was indeed a hidden pathway, although he could not see the inner structure of the mountain all he saw was chakra auras at the bottom and some higher followed by a few at the peak. By the time Yuuma and his team arrived near the top of the peak, an opening in the mountain was being created as teams who made it through the first phase were led inside the mountain itself, so far only ten teams were able to pass this phase while those who failed were rescued, although it was the ones who survived.

"Fool! Ya Fool!, Congrat Yu Late ones for reaching this point, but it is time for ya'll to get lost to the next joint" a white hair with a goatee wearing oval-shaped sunglasses young man with a muscular dark skin build wearing the Kumo village standard one-strap-over-one-shoulder flak jacket, and a long, red rope belt tied around his waist, the standard Kumo hand and shin guards, shinobi sandals, and a white scarf around his neck. Stood there waiting to greet the examinees, but suddenly he was being dragged away by Kumo ninjas who shook their heads feeling embarrassed, "Ya Fools will see me soon!"

The next examiner was a tall fair-skinned woman with a curvaceous figure covered with a low-cut outfit which displays her sizeable cleavage, with mesh armour underneath, a short skirt and red handguards, high boots, and what appears to be a modified Kumogakure flak jacket that covers her stomach only. "Cool, everyone is here so we can start the next phase of the preliminary where each one of you will be facing off against each other one on one, is there anyone who would like to give up?"

Hearing this, two injured Iwagakure shinobis raised their hands to leave, Samui the examiner did not scorn them but instead nodded with a respectful gaze as she felt they were more admirable to know where their limits were. "Alright, the 28 of you who are left. You will be facing against each other within an hour, so take the time to rest alright? Cool" Samui nodded before standing against the wall waiting for the time to pass by.

Yuuma turned to Tomotoki and Mina, "From here on out it's each man for themselves, even if you are up against me do not hold back unless you wish to stay genins for a lifetime" Hearing what Yuuma said both Tomotoki and Mina glances at each other before nodding, the boy and girl went together to resolve themselves while Yuuma pulled out a water balloon playing around while using his eyes to have a look at the participants.

He was more interested in the Konohagakure shinobi who passed, this shinobi had onyx eyes with ash-grey hair tied in a ponytail style. Yuuma had noticed this shinobi had been glancing at him since the start of the Chunin exams and was quite vigilant towards him, this shinobi noticed that Yuuma took note of his glances so he came to Yuuma boldly, "Hallo, my name is Kabuto Yakushi. I'm a Konoha Shinobi having my first Chunin exam"

"Yuuma Terumi, the first time as well" Yuuma was not certain why but this man gave him an eery vibe of a snake that would bite him the moment he let his guard down, Kabuto kept his calm and smile face despite Yuuma's response which came off a bit cold. "Are you from Kirigakure? I heard a new Mizukage was instated" Kabuto thought of asking a different question but he was caught off guard when Yuuma gave him an answer he did not expect.

"I haven't been to the village for a long time now, so I won't be able to answer that question of yours" Yuuma muttered as he turned around heading to a spot near the single Iwagakure shinobi, seeing Yuuma approaching he snorted, "What you going to laugh at me being alone?" Hearing the Iwagakure shinobi's question Yuuma had a confused face before answering him, "Isn't it common that rocks are all loners by nature?"
