The Anubis let out a dangerous aura, it seemed like it could swallow all of them at once. The anubis's eyes were blood red, the spear on its right hand was coloured in black with dark red blade.

The anubis howled, "You all sure are gutsy to come all the way from above to this floor!"

"This will be tough." Ryth thought to himself. He heaved a long breath, then he shouted in the team voice chat, "Everyone! Get Ready! That Anubis looks like a spearman. It probably can use magic, for example, dark lightning type!"

Azalea and the others made an offensive stance as they readied their weapons.

The Anubis advanced forward as it lifted its spear towards Llyod who was standing in the front.

Llyod also ran forward to counter the monster's attack.

{Thrust}!

Llyod swung his greatsword, '{Heavy Swing}!" to blocked the monster's spear thrust.

"CLANG!"

"WHUSSH!"

The sounds resounded throughout the room. And the wind caused by the clash of the two weapons blew everything near the two of them.

Llyod managed to block the anubis's attack.

Ryth and Azalea ran towards the anubis from Llyod's sides. The two of them immediately launched their attacks.

"Oh? You managed to hurt me first?" The Anubis was forced to take a stepback as it howled. Murderous aura radiated stronger from the monster.

Text boxes appeared above Ryth's, Azalea's, and Llyod's head.

'Fear'

On Ryth's interface, an announcement box appeared. 'Stunned for 3 seconds'

The Anubis grabbed its spear with its left hand, getting ready to swing it across the three of them.

However, before the spear could touch Ryth, Lady Elsa quickly use her {Purification} spell. Its an area spell to helps to dispel Ryth and the others from the anubis' skill.

The 'Fear' text boxes disappeared just as the effect were dispelled. Ryth then hurriedly use {Deflect}.

"CLANG!"

Llyod and Azalea launched their attack at the same time.

Llyod jumped up and hacked his sword from above, while Azalea use {Stab} to attack the monster's abdomen.

The Anubis leaned to the right side to avoid Llyod's attack, then it spun off around and grabbed its spear with its right hand. It then used the tip of the handle of the spear to block Azalea's attack.

But Ryth wouldn't let the monster evade the attacks easily. He quickly ducked and slashed the two weapons on its hands.

"Ugh!" The Anubis gritted its teeth, falling back a few steps. However, just when it was about to set its foot on the last step, rain of arrows fell upon it.

"WHUSH, WHUSH!"

The Anubis hold its spear with both of its hands, spinning it around.

"CLANG, CLANG!"

The spear blocked all of the arrows, "Humph." The Anubis grinned, howling, "You can't defeat me with that petty trick!"

Just as he had stopped spinning its spear, Ryth and Azalea had already shorten their distance. Their swords began to radiate beautiful lights as they activated their skills.

{Whirlwind}!

"GAARGH!" the Anubis screamed in pain as its eyes turned black in anger. It fallback, lifted its spear in the air and forming a star sign. A black ball began forming in the air where it eventually turned into a big sharp spear. It then fell down upon Ryth and Azalea.

Ryth and Azalea quickly activated {Fast Steps} and avoided the black spell by a hair.

"BOOM!"

The black spear fell on the floor, missing its target. Once it disappeared, Llyod made his move as he jumped and hacked down his greatsword towards the monster.

The Anubis lifted its spear to block Llyod's attack, but then a shout could be heard from behind.

{Tower of Flame}!

A red circle appeared below it, Llyod quickly avoid it by jumping back. A huge fire tower then shot up into the air.

"WOSSH!"

"GAAARGH!" the Anubis howled angrily. His eyes turned darker as it rushed to Llyod,activating a skill.

{Multi Thrust}!

"WUSH, WUSH!"

The movement of the spear was fast that Llyod could barely avoid its attacks. There were many cracks on his armor, giving the Anubis a chance to weaken Llyod's defence. It poured its magic to the spear, giving it an opportunity to penetrate Llyod's ebony armor.

Just when the last thrust attack was about to land on Llyod's abdomen, Hill and the archers activated their skills.

Bolt of powerful arrows rained down upon the Anubis.

Lady Elsa then cast her skill to protect Llyod.

{Fire Wall}!

The spear couldn't penetrate through the {Fire Wall} that Lady Elsa had casted. The Anubis couldn't avoid the arrows either as it got swamped by it.

"Shu, shu, shu!"

Many water barriers surround the monsters in different areas.

Ryth and Azalea jumped to the nearest barrier.

Both of their weapons shined with blue lights as they activated their skills together.

"GARRGH!" the Anubis was forced to fall back a few steps. It then began to make a triangle sign, howling with anger, "{Thunder Wrath}!"

A bright light suddenly struck out in the air where it was about to hit both Ryth and Azalea who were near it.

"{Lightning Wall}!"

"BOOM!"

The {Lightning Wrath} that was casted by Anubis and the {Lightning Wall} that Lady Azalea had casted were in the same level. Hence, Lady Elsa's spell was able to neutralize it.

"Thank you!" Ryth and Azalea both grinned as they advanced forward.

{Cut}!

{Stab}!

{Whirlwind}!

Once the {Whirlwind} had began to cool down, Azalea and Ryth immediately fallback.

Woodgard suddenly appeared behind the Anubis, with Llyod advancing from the front.

{Back Stab}!

They exchanged attacks with the Anubis for few minutes as its HP gradually fell.

"GAARGH!" the Anubis gritted its teeth. Its spear then gushed out a black lightning spark as it swung its spear towards Llyod and Woodgard in a high speed.

"{Black Lightning Swing}!"

Woodgard quickly blocked the spear with both of his daggers.

Although, he managed to block the attack at the last second, he was sent flying quite far and landed on the archers. Llyod, on the other hand, was slow and because his greatsword was late for half a second, he was sent flying as well, with his left armor broken.

Azalea then got caught up in the attack, where she got hit by the lightning sparks. Similarly, although, she managed to block the attacks with {Blue Soul}, but since its element was weak to lightning, she too was sent flying across the room and hit against a pillar.

"BOOM!"

"Kya!"

"AZALEA!" Ryth and Lady Elsa shouted.

Ryth gritted his teeth and shouted again, "Healer! Focus on healing Azalea!"

Although, Llyod's armor had broken, he was still fine due to his high STR. The ebony heavy armor helped reduced the damaged Llyod had taken. Hence, why Ryth was more concerned about Azalea, who doesn't have a good armor.

The Anubis smiled evilly as he watched the panic in Ryth's face. It quickly ran towards Ryth.

Ryth saw the Anubis approaching and yelled, "You piece of sh*t!"

Looking at the evil smile of the Anubis, Ryth snapped. The {Ryuujin's Will} on his hands emitted lightning sparks as he lifted it towards the Anubis. The Anubis' spear also emitted lightning sparks, though, in black.

{Lightning Piercer}!

{Black Lightning Thrust}!

"BZZZT!" the katana and the spear clashed. The sparks lightened up the room. Two different colors of lightning clashed and exploded.

"BOOM!"

The Anubis and Ryth were sent flying a few steps back. Ryth didn't waste even a second, and began moving forward, his 3 swords starting to emit lights as he shouted, "Lady Elsa! Simple barriers!"

"O-okay!" she gritted her teeth as well in concentration. She quickly cast numeous water barriers as she watched Ryth ran.

Ryth then activated his skill.

{Stream of Light}!

"WUSH, WUSH!"

"GARGH!"

The last barrier was above the anubis' head, Ryth jumped and activated his other skill.

{Hedgehog}!

The anubis howled as it lifted its spear diagonally, "{Dark Lightning Wall}!"

A black barrier formed above its head and it blocked Ryth's attack. "CLANG! BZZT!"

Ryth couldn't penetrate through its black lightning barrier, but in mid air, the anubis saw Ryth's cold face with no expression.

The [Eye of Daedalus] in mana tracer mode let out a red light making Ryth looked like an emotionless demon.

The Anubis laughed heartifully and shouted. "HAHAHA! I LIKE THAT EXPRESSION OF YOURS!"

Ryth didn't reply.

He bounced his swords against the barrier and with its momentum, he spun around backward and activated his skill.

{Cut}!

"SLASH!"

"GAAARGH!" the Anubis stopped grinning, falling back a few steps. It then began to form a sign in the air with its spear, but before it could finish activating it, Ryth had already activated {Fast Steps} as he appeared above the anubis' head.

{Half Moon}!

"GAAAGH!"

Its HP hit the 70 percent mark.

"Mr. Myrad! Miss Azalea is okay! But we need more time to heal her!" one of the healers shouted.

The anubis' face was bleeding. When it looked up, it saw Ryth's emotionless face with his left eye that was covered in bloody red bandages. Suddenly, it could hear a cold voice resounding inside its head.

"I'll make you regret it."
