The Anubis could sense the dangerous aura emitting from Ryth. Its aura was so intimidating that it felt like Ryth could kill it at anytime he wants.

The Anubis scoffed. "Huh! So, is that elf girl really important to you?" he smirked. "Guess I'll have to kill her first and watched your despair!"

It then ran towards the pillar where Azalea was receiving treatment.

"You can try," Ryth said coldly. As he ran towards the Anubis, with his still emotionless face, he quickly instructed Lady Elsa to cast buff on him.

"Okay!"

Ryth's body glowed with golden light, text boxes appeared on his interface.

'+10 STR'

'+10 AGI'

'+10 INT'

Ryth activated {Fast Steps} as he ran forwards.

Just as the Anubis was about to thrust its spear towards the nearest healer who was currently healing Azalea, Ryth had already appeared in front of it. He used {Deflect} to redirect the spear's direction to his left.

"CLANG!"

"Stay back," Ryth said to the healer.

Ryth advanced to the right side and he slashed the Anubis.

{Cut}!

"SLASH!"

After that, he spun around to the left where the Anubis' back was open wide. Ryth activated another skills.

{Whirlwind}!

When {Whirlwind} ended, the Anubis use {Thrust}. However, Ryth managed to avoid it by taking a step back and blocked the spear with {Vengeance] on his left hand. He then activated {Stab}.

"GAAAGH!"

Woodgard and Llyod had already stood up and shorten their distance with the Anubis to help Ryth. They appeared behind the anubis where Llyod swung his greatsword to the right, while Woodgard spun to the left and activated {Dual Stab}.

"BOOM!"

Although, the Anubis managed to block Llyod's attack, but it couldn't react to Woodgard's {Dual Stab}.

"GAAAGH!"

With a pained look on its face, it struggled to form a sign in the air and succeed. A circle then appeared above it and a black tube formed around the anubis, creating a black lightning barrier protecting it from Ryth and the others' attacks.

Inside the barrier, it started to form another sign. Just then, a big black triangle appeared above Ryth, Llyod and Woodgard.

"Oh, a level 8 lightning skill?" Ryth calmly stood as he looked up. He then turned his head to Lady Elsa and said,"Woodgard and Llyod."

Because the anubis' spell had already been cast, it was impossible for Lady Elsa to spell counter it. To cast an immediate three barrier spells were too difficult. Hence, Ryth instructed Lady Elsa to cast the spell on Llyod and Woodgard, instead.

Lady Elsa nodded as she formed 2 signs in the air with her scepter in a fast speed. She snapped her fingers and suddenly, bright tubes covered both Llyod and Hill.

With Llyod and Hill being protected by the spell, Ryth sheathed [Ryuujin's Will] with a scroll on his right hand. He then poured his mana into it.

Just then, the Anubis howled,

"{Black Thunderstorm}!

"BOOM!"

Black thunder raged from above and just when it was about to strike Ryth, he had disappeared out of thin air. The black thunder struck both Llyod and Hill, but it missed Ryth.

"What?! Where the hell is he?!" the Anubis was shocked. His level 8 spell couldn't even scratched its opponents at all but he had already taken many damages.

After 4 seconds, the black thunder finally stopped.

The anubis' barrier disappeared, but Lady Elsa's barriers still have another second left, so the Anubis couldn't lay an attack on them. So, the Anubis, instead, searched for Ryth's whereabouts.

"I will just avoid these two insects." The monster then tried to widen its distance with Llyod and Hill who was commanding the archers' attacks. It spun it spear non-stop to deflect the rain of arrows.

Because of the barrier, Llyod and Woodgard couldn't move either, so they need to wait for the barrier to disappear on its own. By that time, the Anubis had already distance itself and it began to form a sign again with its spear.

When Llyod and Woodgard's barriers finally disappeared, the two of them quickly ran towards the Anubis and at the same time, Ryth appeared behind the anubis.

"HOW COME YOU KNOW A DIMENSIONAL TYPE SPELL?!" it was still busy in forming the spell when it realized that Ryth was behind it.

It quickly stopped its chant and turned his body towards Ryth. It readied its spear to receive any kind of attacks from Ryth.

Lady Elsa quickly cast 2 solid barriers on the left and right sides of the monster so it couldn't use its spear properly.

Llyod and Woodgard activated their skills where they attacked the anubis' back. Ryth use {Cut}, {Stab} first and then changed his skills where he took a step back and jumped.

{Half Moon}!

Followed by Llyod and Woodgard's attacks, the Anubis' HP gradually decrease. And once the three of them had fell back, the barriers had disappeared as well. However, Lady Elsa immediately cast another spell.

{Tower of Flame}!

The red circle from underneath the Anubis burst out flames, burning the Anubis, It could only howled in pain.

"AAARRGH!"

When the flames disappeared, Hill and the archers rain the Anubis with arrows.

They exchanged attacks for some time. And finally, its HP hit 40% mark.

The monster screamed in anger, "I'll KILL YOU ALL!"

{Dark Lightning Thrust}!

Ryth readied his weapon. He was about to use {Deflect} when a Wind spell formed in front of him.

{Wind Piercer}!

"SHUUU!"

"BOOM!"

Ryth turned to look at the beautiful elf behind him and asked, "Are you alright now?"

Azalea nodded, determination and anger reflected in her eyes. "Yes."

Seeing her standing proud, his heart felt relieved.

Azalea's eyes narrowed in anger as she stared at the Anubis.

She ran towards the anubis with Ryth following behind her. Azalea formed a sign as she ran, {Wind Gust}!

"SHUUUU!"

The Anubis tried to avoid both Ryth and Azalea's attack by jumping to the right. But suddenly, another gust of wind landed on its body.

"SHUU!!"

Lade Elsa had attacked it with her {Wind Gust} to prevent it from backing away further.

Ryth and Azalea's swords glowed with blue lights. With Lady Elsa's support, casting numerous barriers for them, seems like victory is not far ahead.

{Starry Night}!

{Rain Dance}!

"WHUSH, WHUSH!"

"GARGH!"

Ryth and Azalea's skills ended when they landed on the highest barriers. The two of them jumped from it and activated another skills.

The Anubis tried to stomp its foot, activating an area attack that can make any players on its surrounding fly off. However, both Azalea and Ryth were too quick for it as they can already predict what its planning to do.

Thus, the stomp attack missed its targets.

Llyod and Woodgard began to close in to the Anubis. Llyod yelled, "You will pay for breaking my favorite armor!"

Llyod howled, "{Rage}!"

On Ryth's interface, Llyod's status rose up. Ryth turned his head to Lady Elsa and the berserk-healers, he loudly instructed, "Buff Skill on him!"

They nodded and Llyod's body began to glow with golden lights. His status soared leaps and bounds without restriction.

Woodgard used his {Stealth} and appeared behind the anubis, He hacked his daggers horizontally. The Anubis tried to use {Thrust} but to no avail, because Woodgard had spun around the spear and use {Back Stab}.

At the same time, Llyod who was currently in berserk mode with many buff skills casted on him had already shorten their distance. He jumped and hacked down his greatsword with all his might.

{Full Swing}!

"Everyone! Attack! I, Azalea and Lady Elsa will deal with its attacks! All of you just focus all your attack it with all you've got!" Ryth shouted in the team voice chat fuction.

40%... 35%... 30%... 25%... 20%...

When its HP hits 20% mark, the Anubis howled, "RAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!" it held its spear horizontally and began chanting.

"WOSH!"

Suddenly, black lightning covered its body, Daedalus shouted, "Its status had rose up! It's the Anubis' berserk mode spell! {Ancient Dark Thunder Wrath}!"
