With Dong Lin in the lead everyone began to find courage. They reached the cave where they resided they found no one except for ruins. The building's were wrecked and smoke was being emitted from some if them.

"It looks to me like a Battle just took place not too long ago", said Lin Feng to himself while in deep thought.

"I think we need to venture deeper into the cave in case some of them survived this onslaught", continued Lin Feng.

Everyone nodded. They followed him until they found some trails left by the survivors. The survivors ventured deeper into the forest to seek shelter and the strongest person there was the personal guard of the head of the tribe.

The head of the tribe died in this battle that just occurred in order to protect his people. The guard was tenses when he saw the intruders.

"Identify yourselves or don't blame me...", said the guard in a shaky tone because he realised that these youngsters were far stronger than him despite their age.

Lin Feng interrupted the guard saying, "Don't be afraid we're from the Rising Cloud Sect and we're here to eliminate the demon that's haunting your tribe".

"Saviour, we don't have any idea of what we did to offend the gods, we.....we....just want..... to...to.....", stuttered the guard while breaking down in tears but once again he was interrupted by Lin Feng.

"When I say that you're safe then you are safe indeed", said Lin Feng with a flash of anger in his eyes.

He was infuriated because the guard kept doubting them.

The guard then managed to suppress the fear in his mind.

"The monster is in the deepest part of the forest and the savage beasts there are all under its command, first of all it sent lower level subordinates and they were far stronger than us because they have been refined into corpse slaves and therefore they were not afraid of death but the head stepped out to protect us and it lost so many slaves, it sent higher leveled ones to attack.....attack.... the.....the...head and he died a tragic death", said the guard while sobbing.

"That's okay, the information you've provided is sufficient enough", Lin Feng said and then he turned to his team mates saying

"Guys, let's head out immediately because the earlier we finish this the better for us".

The team set out immediately and they approached the inner parts if the forest in a couple of minutes. They proceeded carefully then suddenly they heard an ear splitting screech as if two irons were being rubbed on top if each other, the sound caused blood to flow out of their ear drums and they lost their bearing for a split second.

They all got into a defensive stance with their backs facing each other. They were surrounded by numerous corpse slaves of different sizes and ranks.

Xiao wan was the first to attack the corpse slaves using the first attack of the Nine Heavenly Saber Technique.
