The moment Lin Feng spoke everyone's carefree expression vanished and it was replaced with a serious one.

"Since I'm the strongest person in the team, I'll be the main attacker", continued Lin Feng.

"Judging by the information skinny Lin provided and the one from the sect, its highly possible that the demon has found numerous subordinate for itself and we need to be careful about that",said Dong Lin while casting a hostile glance towards Xiao wan.

Xiao wan was the one with the lowest cultivation so most of the members of the team were hostile towards him.

A few days later the ten man team arrived on a hill top which was very close to their destination, which was the kylian tribes abode. It was a mountain slide close to the border of the country hence they did not have much to do with the outside world. Normally such rundown places could not be found easily but since the Rising Cloud Sect was the most powerful organizations, nothing could be hidden from them especially when their help was needed.

From a mile or two, they stood on the hill top and gazed below. An eerie feeling engulfed everyone in the team. It was extremely silent and deathly still as if no single soul could live in such a place.

From the reports it was said that the people suddenly started disappearing and more than half of members have gone missing.

It was not until the head of the tribe investigated the traces left by the demon that they knew that it was the work of a demon.

Since the whole team shuddered with fear and a junior was present they felt ashamed and therefore their hostility towards Xiao wan increased by leaps and bounds.

"Hey brat!?, go check out the place and if you die we won't be responsible", said Dong Lin in a domineering and imposing manner to Xiao wan while hatred flashed through his eyes.

Xiao wan furrowed his brows

"Why do I have to be the one to check it out why don't you lead the way since you're high and mighty", replied Xiao wan in an unpleasant tone.

"Try and say that again you worthless sc.u.m", said Dong Lin with a hideous expression on his face.

"Fool!! Do you think I would repeat my words twice just because a brainless idiot like you asked for it, eh", replied Xiao wan in a cold tone.

"you...you....", stuttered Dong Lin in rage. He was about to throw himself towards Xiao wan but he was stopped by Lin Feng.

"It's okay guys, we need to focus on the mission. everything can be settled later but if you insist on going ahead I won't stop you but you might have to bear the consequence of killing your fellow sect member" said Lin Feng while stepping in between both of them on order to ease their anger.

Dong Lin glanced viscously at Xiao wan not hiding his murderous intent and snorted while fl.i.c.k.i.n.g his sleeves and he led the way towards the kylian tribe.
