Chapter 12 - Underwater Cave

The fire crystals were graded in color. From the lowest to the highest; red, green, orange, black, gold. The most suitable fire crystal for alchemy was the orange fire crystal but some low levelled alchemist make use of the affordable red fire crystal.

Even though the cave was at the bottom of the cave no single drop of water was in the cave as if there was a formation blocking the water from entering the cave.

The moment he entered the cave the feeling of danger vanished and he sensed rich abundant spiritual qi in the air but instead of relaxing he tensed up and was constantly on the look out for any danger.

There was a saying: the safest place could be extremely dangerous and the most dangerous place could sometimes be the safest place.

He kept on going into the depths of the cave and found that it would take months for someone to cover the whole cave.

"It would do me no good to keep walking as the cave is very large", said Xiao wan to himself while moving his genuine qi to the meridians in both of his leg's and he started running with a speed that exceeded his cultivation realm.

He ran and stopped from time to time. Due to his low realm he did not have enough genuine qi in his body hence, he could not keep up with that speed but coupled with the abundance of spiritual qi in the cave he could easily recover his genuine qi in a matter of seconds.

As he was constantly running his genuine qi and exhausting it his body was able to store three times his former level of genuine qi. After repeating this act several times he finally reached the end of the cave and he saw a waterfall with no beginning as if it was formed from the void.

"Wow, it turns out that this is what caused the cave to be full of spiritual qi", said Xiao wan while marveling at the scene displayed before him.

The fountain-like liquid was called spirit fountain. It was usually created when there was abundant spiritual qi in an environment. He decided to probe the spirit fountain but he was repelled and flung back 20-meters into the air and he shattered a large boulder that weighed about 1500 pounds.

When he hit the boulder large amount of blood with some pieces of flesh mixed with it burst forth from his mouth. Since he had an insanely strong body only a few scratches were formed on his body but his internal organ's were jolted and almost crushed to pieces or rather the attack was aimed at his internal organ's.

He crossed his legs almost immediately and started running his genuine qi in order to heal his injuries. Injuries caused to the internal organ's were multiple times harder to heal than external injuries as long as the body is not blown to pieces.

Legend's says that in the ancient times when gods existed, they could be revived with a drop of blood provided the necessary materials needed were present along with a powerful alchemist that was well versed in the way of medicine.

With the aid of the rich spiritual qi he healed his injuries in a couple of hours. He turned towards the entrance of the cave and saw that it was already night meaning that he had stayed in the from dawn till dusk.

"I have to find a way to store some of the spirit fountains essence", Xiao wan said his thoughts aloud. As soon as the thought came into his mind he started pacing around the cave. He laid his back on the wall at the right side of the cave and a door opened and he fell inside the space.

In this other part he found a rolled up praying mat and some fist arts, body arts and sword arts. After looking at everything here he then noticed a pile of ash in the middle if the room and a shining ring was in it emitting a faint light.

"That must have happened because the cultivators could not handle the energy generated from his body and he got burned up", said Xiao wan while moving forward to the ring and he picked it up and examined it. He was surprised and wondered how the ring managed to still be intact after the powerful cultivator got burned up.

A thought struck him and he transfered his genuine qi into the ring a genuine qi print in the ring vanished and he then replaced it with his own after taking some time to find how to make his own genuine qi print.

"whhaaatttt!!?!!?, this is a storage ring", shouted Xiao wan in a loud tone with excitement flashing in his eyes but immediately calmed down because becoming too relaxed might make him fall prey to a sneak attack.

He browsed through the content that were neatly arranged in rows and he was filled with shock. He was shocked to the point of leaving his mouth open for 30 seconds, after that he managed to calm himself down even though there was still a sliver of excitement on his face.

Although the storage material in this continent were expensive they were quite affordable by the rich families and sect but that was in the case of low and mid-leveled storage materials. Most high-level storage materials were found in ancient relics....
