Lucky Riot And The Mystic Dragon

Chapter 14 - Might Makes Right!

Chapter Six - Marc Raizen's Plot part 2

Lucky pondered over the shadow's parting words as he heard a sudden crash landing. He suddenly remembered Amen's last words, 'tell the one the one coming.'

Thud.

"Ouch! This is hardly beneficial to my noble bearings," grumbled Antonio Bazaar III as he rubbed his rear. "Eh? What happened to these three? AH! Could it be that all three of them received the sacred blessing this year?"

"How did you get here?" asked Lucky Riot curiously. He felt the wormhole collapsing while he was in it previously. How could it still work now? Was it a misconception?

"A light flew into my c.h.e.s.t, and a strong breeze took a fancy to the young me, sweeping me off my feet! In a fit of jealousy and rage, the dumpster devoured me whole!" Antonio Bazaar III danced around dramatically as he narrated his imaginative story.

"Ah, so that light was for you all along. Actually… it could be considered the final blessing," Lucky Riot immediately ignored Tony's previous response. He didn't currently possess the patience to deal with this guy. Lucky stood up slowly and dusted himself off before walking over to Antonio. He wasn't surprised at this friend's sudden arrival, as Amenophis had mentioned that someone was coming.

He was wary towards Antonio, but he remembered the old dragon shadow's words from before, 'Trust in all of your friends.' Amenophis could only be talking about these four youths in front of him if he called anyone Lucky's 'friends.'

Who else could he genuinely consider a friend in this Nibiru City?

"We've all received our final blessing, Tony. Only you are left. You should touch the wall too," Lucky Riot pointed to the wall behind him with his thumb.

Tony's eyes lit up as he hopped right over to the wall. However, once he was in front of it, he hesitated to place his hand on the wall. In his excitement, he had nearly forgotten that he was a bit wary towards this Kasino Riot. After seeing Kasino slaughter those two guys, Tony found it hard to be normal in his presence and that this wall gave him the creeps for reasons he couldn't understand.

Tony glanced back at Lucky. This guy whom he had always considered trash turned out to be a real murderer now! He had to change his personal evaluation of this scary existence that defied all common sense.

Trash?

Waste?

If Lucky was a piece of trash, then who was he, Antonio Bazaar III, who had just been thrashed by the very person Lucky slaughtered? The difference between the two of them was apparent. Of course, once Tony thought up to here, he realized that Lucky simply wouldn't need to trick him, he could just attack directly.

Thus, Tony decided to try his luck and touch the wall. Would today be the day he received his first and final sacred blessing?

A fist-sized beam of light shot out of the wall and into Tony's glabella. He fell unconscious shortly afterward. Lucky stood by the side, observing patiently. Inwardly, he was trying to decide on his next course of action. The city had been taken over by a street gang, while now only the middle sector could be considered safe. After all, the schools were all in this district, and Silver Mercury wouldn't dare to antagonize the schools. Not only that, the leaders of Silver Mercury and many of the gang's members even had children enrolled in one of the schools!

There was simply no reason for them to engage with the middle sector at all.

In Lucky Riot's opinion, it seemed like he could only return to Thoth High. However, would he be forced to repeat a year now? Or would they just kick him out directly? After all, he was only at the second level of the...

Wait.

"Ah!" Lucky Riot slapped his own forehead. How could he have forgotten so quickly? "I've already reached mid-phase of the sixth level of the Hardbody Stage. Progressing to the next year should be no problem now!"

Initially, Lucky had already decided to roam around for a while after he got kicked out of school. Still, now it seemed that his year-long coma had turned into a sudden windfall! He didn't need to drop out at all.

"I'll wait for them to wake up, and then we'll get Bravo's people to pick us up from down the street. Wait…" Lucky Riot glanced down at the unconscious Margot. He suddenly felt a bit of resistance towards associating with Bravo's people directly.

'Why were those goons after Maggie in the first place?' Thought Lucky privately. He suddenly realized that he hadn't fully grasped their current circ.u.mstances. Lucky shrugged his shoulders and sat down, taking on a meditative posture. He slowly re-centered his focus and started to refine more origin energy into his mystic root. Liquid essence poured from his mystic root like a fountain for about ten minutes. Lucky now had a small lake of the essence in his abdomen. Unfortunately, after another hour, this practice seemed to yield an even smaller result than one year ago.

Lucky furrowed his brows in frustration, "I guess now that I'm at the sixth level, advancing in this way will be nearly impossible. Argh. Well, I'll have to wait for them to wake up at any rate."

Time passed swiftly. Six hours later, five teenagers were crossing a bridge that separated the inner sector from the middle sector.

"So the whole city is currently under martial law?" Lucky Riot was currently dressed in all white hemp clothes. They were unadorned and straightforward, but this still seemed to suit the young draconian well. His previous low-cut hair was gone, and his now long and wavy hair was hanging down past his shoulders. Shoulders that had become broad and strong, complimenting his new height. "What about the top families? And the schools? Do you mean to say that even they are wary of this Silver Mercury Gang?

Margot Frenzy walked shoulder to shoulder with him explaining the state of the city. She had changed into an elegant silver dress that hugged her curvy body. Lucky was inwardly shocked, as he was a lot taller than Maggie before they went into a coma. What's more, it was plain to see he had also grown quite a bit during this year! Still, Maggie and himself were currently the same height. Her growth outstripped him by a wide margin.

Not only that, but Margot Frenzy was twice as hot as before! There was something about Maggie that Lucky felt infatuated with. This happened in spite of his usual lack of concern with such matters. Her delicate light-brown complexion only served to complement her remarkable face.

Maggie possessed a beauty that ten thousand freshly blossomed flowers could never compare too. Her silky blonde hairs fell over her shoulder to rest right below her growing bosom. Two perky mounds which threatened to soon match her rotund derriere. These assets looked somewhat disproportionate to her thin willow-like waist, but in the s.e.xiest way possible. Her sapphire eyes contained a natural pride and majestic dignity that seemed to come from deep in her bone marrow.

Lucky now found it a little challenging to talk to Maggie like he usually did. After all, he was just a teenage boy and a v.i.r.g.i.n. He honestly had no idea how to react to his body's new vigorous reaction towards this incredible young lady. He suddenly understood why someone would want to kidnap her after a mere glance. What kind of head-turning creature was the current Maggie?

"Martial Law, huh…," said Maggie with a frown on her pretty face. She spoke slowly and deliberately and possessed a uniquely graceful bearing, "You can call it that. These punks pulled off a successful coupe, the mayor is on the run, and the County Government has washed their hands of the issue.

"Might makes right. The County Government doesn't care who is in charge, as long as the schools are not being harassed, and the town is still producing income and experts. This is the era we live in, I guess…"

"So you guys want me to believe that those goons were trying to kidnap Maggie merely because of some dog shit young master taking a fancy to her? Even if she's the most dazzling creature in the city, do they not have shame?" Lucky Riot gnashed his teeth felt his blood start to boil as his anger increased, so he swiftly calmed himself down.

He didn't notice the implication of his wording, as he wasn't used to hiding his thoughts. Bravo and Tony were entirely in agreement with his stance, so they took it as fact without noticing much. Lucky typically spoke in a direct or even blunt manner, and Margot was known as an angel at school. Such words were not strange from any other male. However, Capp furrowed his brows and glanced in Lucky in surprise.

Margot's eyes flashed, seeing Lucky angry on her behalf and upon hearing his description of her beauty, the former's heart nearly jumped out of her c.h.e.s.t.

How long had she waited to hear this boy say such words? She initially felt slightly insecure about her body's changes, but that was instantly out of the window. If he liked it, she loved it.

'What is this, now?' Margot's face was flushed red. She couldn't help but smirk mischievously as she pulled out her communication device to admire her reflection in the camera. 'Could this emotionless and stubborn fellow finally be seeing the proper assets of this princess?'

"We almost died over this? They're so lawless?" the livid Lucky continued to ask with frustration evident in his voice. Capp was once again stunned by this. The Kasino Riot he knew was often short-tempered but never outright angry. Capp felt that he had never seen Lucky angry much before today, but now his best friend seemed even more irritable than Bravo.

Was it really just because of Maggie?
