Lucky Riot And The Mystic Dragon

Chapter 51 - Cutting ties

"The f.u.c.k..." this news left Lucky Riot astounded, but his face was indifferent. Merely, his eyes brightened when he heard this. Her realm had advanced? Didn't Maggie also promote after they made love? Was that normal then? However, Lucky had no time to ponder on this when a dainty little hand that was soft as clouds in the sky begin to gently massage his exposed little brother, igniting that evil fire once more. Instantly, his thoughts became hazy again as he sealed her lips.

After some time, they separated again, and Lucky said, "Call me Lucky when we're alone from now on. Do not worry, no one will know from me. I need you to take an oath to serve me loyally and acknowledge me as your master. After that, we can cultivate together whenever there's time. If it really makes you stronger, it'll be our mighty secret… "

Scarlet felt funny calling such a younger man her master, but she didn't really mind it if he liked that. Especially so, if m.a.k.i.n.g. .l.o.v.e to him really advanced her strength. With such a boon, she would even acknowledge him as her father. In fact, she already called him 'daddy' several times tonight, "Yes, young master."

"Never take off that collar. It's bound to me."

"Yes, young master."

"I'm coming in!"

"Yes… yes… Young Master, yes!"

The next day Lucky was wearing vermilion prefect robes and feeling refreshed as he hummed while heading over to the Mystic Resources Department to pick up his allocated resources. Capital Blacc walked next to him as they chatted in leisure. Lucky had never realized before how large this campus was. That is until recently, he rarely had any need to travel around the school at all. He was a poor commoner, lucky to even be in this academy. In the regular dorms, all the daily necessities were very close in proximity. However, now that he was in the Central Sector dorms, nothing was very conveniently placed anymore.

As a result, he was now learning his surroundings a lot better.

"Say Kasino, what's it like, eh?" asked the recovered Capp in a near whisper.

"Magical. Like… falling into a pool of pure energy and feeling it fuse with your flesh. Truly wonderful beyond words," replied Lucky Riot absentmindedly.

"I can't believe you really lost it! I'm so proud," although he felt Lucky was exaggerating a bit, Capp still took a tissue out and wiped his eye's fake tears, "My little guy is all grown up and trapping beauties!

"Shut it!" yelled Lucky throwing a punch at Capital's arm in anger. Capital yelped like a scared dog and glared indignantly at Lucky.

"Isn't it true, though?" asked Capital nonchalant, "First Margot now, Mrs. Mercury? Dude, you're the G.O.A.T."

"How do you know whether I've ever slept with Mar… ching bands. That would be weird, right? Ah, hey Maggie," Lucky Riot suddenly changed what he was saying and came to an abrupt halt. Capp was still confused when Margot Frenzy and Antonio Bazaar III appeared from the path heading in the other direction.

"What was that about a Mrs. Mercury and Lucky?" asked Maggie skeptically. Lucky looked away, and Capital nearly ran away, but Tony stopped him.

"I think you should answer the lady," said Tony smirking casually. Capp was just about to smack Tony when a hand grasped his shoulder before proceeding over to Maggie. After whispering in her ear, Margot Frenzy revealed a shy smile and hooked onto Lucky's arm before waltzing into the Mystic Resource Department with him happily.

Capital and Antonio stood in a daze as they couldn't figure out what just happened. They quickly followed as they had just been abandoned.

The Mystic Resources Department building was two stories tall and housed a medicinal herb field in the bas.e.m.e.nt and on the roof. The spirit plants would be harvested here by the academy's Alchemist Hall and then refined into more mystic pills, such as the body strengthening tablets.

Once inside the building, Lucky and Maggie quickly found an attendant to help them. Surprisingly this attendant was none other than one of Lucky's old friends.

"Ah, so you're both here for resource allocation? Okay then, Margot Frenzy and Kasino Riot…. Ah, here we go!" The student attendant was a familiar fat man with light brown skin. Lucky recognized this fatty as his childhood buddy Joe with the Bow!

"Joe, I thought you were working as an academy gate guard? Did you get fired?" asked Lucky curiously.

"Nope!" said Joe as he puffed his c.h.e.s.t out, "This young squire provided meritorious service and received a promotion! Now, I'm a treasurer. Here we go, ten Rank 1 Body Strengthening and Cleansing Marrow tablets a piece for Margot Frenzy. Four rank 1 Body Strengthening and Cleansing Marrow tablets a piece for Kasino Riot. Also, this week, Lucky will receive two rank 2 body strengthening tablets. You both also get three rank 1 Heal Pills."

Maggie and Lucky both frowned at these words. Lucky had good feelings for Joe, so he didn't immediately sentence him to abuse for trickery. He wanted to investigate first.

"Why is it that Margot gets 10 each, while I only get four? And is the instructor's weekly allowance truly only worth two rank 2 tablets?" Lucky was indignant and highly irritated. Whose joke was this? It was bad enough that he was assigned the second to last seat in the Magi class. He expected the resources to have a difference in the amount allocated as well, but not this great of a difference.

"Potential, Kasino, my friend, it all boils down to potential!" said Joe patiently, with an air of impartial justice around himself, "I'm proud of you for reaching the AP level somehow, but I can't waste the school's resources on you. I don't know how you managed to trick an instructor into surrendering his salary to you, but regardless of this fact, I could lose my job if they found out I assigned you so many resources when you lack the potential!"

Lucky Riot's face darkened. Lacked the potential? Did he lack potential in comparison to others? Had anyone else broken the records he had broken?

"You idiot! You really think that a dean would accept someone with no potential as a disciple? Have you grown tired of living here?" Margot Frenzy's voice was icy, and she was visibly upset. This guy claimed to be Lucky's friend? He was thoroughly looking down on him!

"Eh?" Joe looked at Margot as if he was looking at an idiot blinded by infatuation. He then looked back at Lucky, "Luck, you really did a number on this one, eh? Listen, tell whoever you want whatever you want to tell them, just don't try to drag me down too. All right? After all, I've been willing to be friends with you all this time. Show some respect, I need this job."

Lucky himself now felt his emotions freezing over. He used to think Joe was one of his few friends. It turns out the pity Joe possessed for Lucky was so great that it changed into the d.e.s.i.r.e to form a friendship bond. He likely thought someone so pathetic needed a friend like himself!

Who knew this fat little boy was so arrogant?

"So befriending me is some noble endeavor? Community Service? I should smack him into the wall," thought Lucky to himself.

How dare he be treated like an outreach program! This viewpoint was made evident from the way Joe was posturing now that he felt he had reached a higher level of authority! It was as if to say, 'I can no longer carry you along, you must walk on your own now.'

Lucky's riotous blood murmured gently. This startled him, and Lucky was forced to calm himself down, still speaking with a chilling voice, "Joe, either you allocate me my proper resources, or you find me someone who has enough sense to do so."

"Listen, mister lucky tough guy!" Joe with the Bow was now incensed, removing his bow from his back threateningly.

He had worked hard to get rid of his commoner status, and now after joining treasury hall, he had finally found a big tree to shade him. His situation was now that of a squire! How could he allow some commoner twerp with a little strength as a warrior to disrespect his esteemed self? "I'm apart of the treasury hall of the Mystic Resource Department! By threatening me, you are threatening your future resources all together! I can ruin you in this school! Do not play with me. You are DISMISSED!"

"What's going on over there?"

"That's the new treasurer, Joseph! Someone must have threatened him!"

"Who would be dumb enough to threaten a treasurer?"

"Hey, I know him! Isn't he that immortal waste from a few years back?"

"Oh, yeah… they do favor a bit. I wonder when he got so tall, though."

"Fight, fight, fight~!"

Many students were unaware that Lucky Riot was the same person who was the source of the commotion a few weeks back. The rumors had grown so exaggerated that no one was able to relate the 'immortal waste' to the new legend of the academy.

Joe was loud, and many people turned to watch this new drama happening. Apparently, Lucky's attitude had upset Joe. He, too, just simply didn't believe the immortal waste Lucky was anything short of regular. They were at the same cultivation level, and Joe felt he could clobber Lucky in a fight. This was due to his superior talent and strategic mind. Plus, wasn't Lucky at the second level last year? Joe couldn't any cause to fear.

However, he was destined to be corrected.

"You know," Lucky Riot had already lost his patience the moment Joe raised his voice. However, he allowed the fatty to finish. Afterward, Lucky grabbed the items being allocated to himself and stored them away in the book bag on his back. That way, he could allow everyone to see what would happen next, "I used to think of you as one of my only friends… Joseph. How naive of me, not seeing you for who you have been this entire time. A coward who would pity the weak with flowers while s.u.c.k.i.n.g on the c.o.c.ks of the strong."

"You…" Joe's face flushed red in anger. He knew he had been a little cold towards this old friend of his, but some bonds were best to cut off! He didn't need a waste as a friend!

"Since this is the case, you should open your mouth wide and your eyes wider. This is what strength looks like," as Lucky finished speaking, he rapidly moved his figure to speedily appear in front of Joe before grabbing Joe's chubby face in his left hand. Lucky's primal qi gathered on his other fist before he brought it speeding to Joe's jaw, causing him to fly into a nearby wall and partially destroy it.

*Crash!*

Every student in the building stared on in shock. What was this? What part of this youth was a waste?

He was strong!

However, after looking at Margot Frenzy, who stood sweetly to the side while Lucky bickered with his friend, many people recalled the startling series of events of the past few days.

"I know who he is! He's that Kasino Riot! What waste, he's Magus Clear Sky's direct student, the one who broke the record!"

"He's strong!"

"He's dreamy…"

"Ah, please, that treasurer is no warrior. Any of us could beat him just the same. This Kasino is moderately powerful at best."

Lucky Riot casually walked to another treasurer and spoke with a voice full of deep bass, "Kasino Riot here to check-in for the week. The previous treasurer was biased towards me due to our previous relationship. I hope that you can show me a different experience."

The crowd was dumbstruck. Different experience? Don't just talk like no one here saw what happened!

"Y… Yea… I mean yes, young noble," the female treasurer quickly looked up Lucky's info on her device. After some meticulous searching, she knew everything available to be known about Lucky currently, and she was shocked!

She couldn't help but shiver when reading this boy's assessment results. So it turns out this boy was indeed the one who broke all those records and made such a commotion. Why on pluto would Joseph offend such a figure? "For your past performance, you will be given full rewards. Ten rank 1 Origin Condensing Tablets, these have the effect of both the Body Strengthening Tablet and the Mana and Marrow Cleansing Tablets. Also, you will receive instructor Sir Wale's entire week of rank 2 tablets. Ten rank 2 Body Strengthening Tablets. Next week, you can return for more."

Lucky nodded once and turned around to leave, but the girl panicked and called out, "One… one second young master Riot. Can we… maybe have the previous allocation back?!"

"You should ask my Professor about that and see what she thinks," Lucky Riot never stopped his steps as he responded. He was very privy to his professor's temperament, and he knew she would come to rob them herself if they dared to take it back.

Of course, did Magus Clear Sky need to rob anyone in the academy? Lucky Riot knew how to answer this better than anyone. There was no way she needed to do so. His professor was the Guru!
