"Indeed, young master. When I was younger, I was mauled by mystic beasts in the Forest of Woe! However, at the last moment, benefactor came to my rescue!" said Frederick Masterson with extreme reverence in his eyes. "Benefactor saved me because he foresaw an event involving myself. Benefactor has told me that in a little more than a decade, his heir would arrive before me. He made me guard this warehouse of mystic beast meat and bade me give you access to it, as well as the spatial treasure that works as the key. That was already more than 10 years ago.

"Spatial treasure?" Lucky subconsciously place his hand on his necklace.

"Now, this is all yours. I've taken a bit here and there only to maintain a living, but I didn't dare to touch more than this," spoke Frederick honestly, his big eyes staring intensely at Lucky Riot.

"I see… so this is mine then," Lucky didn't seem to have much of a reaction to Frederick's words. This made Frederick worship this freaky boy that could treat such wealth as air. This was indeed the way the heir of his supreme benefactor should react in his heart. However, only Lucky Riot knew how irritated he really was right now.

'What the f.u.c.k is all this?' An entire hidden cavern full of mystic beast meat for the picking? Even if this fatty were mistaken, Lucky would never let this place go ever. He had also considered silencing this fatty if he had too.

A lifeblood warehouse!

A treasure house for a young fey, or honestly any fey with lifeblood beneath Rank 3! With the fresh mystic beast meat here, Lucky felt he would be able to restore his lifeblood a lot easier in the future. Of course, that was if that outrageous ability of his didn't cause him to implode first.

Lucky was already able to deduce that this so-called benefactor that looked like himself was likely his bum a.s.s dad, Meno Riot! First, his bum a.s.s dad dies before even saying hello for once. No hug or anything, in spite of having lurked in the shadows for all these years. However, in all these years, his bum a.s.s dad was the only one whom Lucky could be said to favor among all the people he had ever met.

Even his mother only passed her pretty hair and complexion to him. Other then this, he could be said to look identical to his father's younger self. Of course, Lucky had only seen his father once, and at that time, he was definitely not young.

Next, he found out his favorite teacher was the former muse and mistress of his bum a.s.s dad. Lucky's own special treatment was strongly related to this, much to his personal dismay, "To think, you go through life thinking there are genuinely nice people in the world and then bam! Your dad slept with her."

This was a slight blow to Lucky's ego. Of course, luckily, she didn't hate his dad, right? Otherwise, he wouldn't even have the chance to cry!

Now, Lucky had bumped into another hidden vestige. How could all of this be timed so perfectly? Exactly how powerful was his bum a.s.s dad? Did he study the power of fate? Lucky didn't quite understand. However, this was of great concern to him as Marc Raizen should be of similar or possibly even greater strength! After all, one still lived while the other was dead. This meant that Lucky needed to surpass his father with the utmost haste.

Didn't this fat guy just say that his benefactor had 'foreseen' this day?

Was his dad a seer?

There were so many things Lucky couldn't understand.

Frederick took Lucky's silence as a quiet dismissal, and he took off the pendant around his neck and placed it on Lucky's palm, "Drip a drop of your lifeblood onto this spatial treasure stone."

Lucky casually looked down at his palm. It was a pendant that was egg-shaped and blacker than obsidian. There were strange runic markings, and it seemed to release a slight scarlet-golden glow. It was a bit smaller and lighter than Lucky's own pendant but equal in every other aspect. The pendant on Lucky's c.h.e.s.t suddenly grew restless, which frightened him a lot.

This was a totally different reaction from something that had accompanied him from his earliest memories.

He did as he was told and pinched his thumb to drop some of his lifeblood on the spatial treasure stone pendant. The pendant lit up with pale golden light and transformed into a golden bracelet on Lucky's right wrist. Lucky suddenly felt a profound connection with the bracelet. He could even use his psyche perception to see the contents within the bracelet in his mind. Hovering inside a vast space was a single saber.

He tapped the bracelet on his wrist a few times and glanced at Frederick.

"It has been a p.l.e.a.s.u.r.e to serve you, young master. This Beast Lord Museum is now yours," bowed Frederick Masterson as he prepared to leave, "Remember, to truly inherit this abode, you have to refine the formation core. However, you need Rank 2 lifeblood to do this."

Leaving this line, Frederick was walking toward the southeast corner of the cavern.

"Wait!" Lucky Riot called out suddenly, causing Frederick to stop his steps. Lucky looked at him indifferently and asked what he considered a severe question, "Do you still have any chili beef links or not? This is what I came for initially, do not forget. Also, I'm not quite powerful enough to dissect a Rank 2 Nightmare Beast. So how can I take some of this meat with me?"

Frederick Masterson was instantly stunned speechless.

"To think that the old man actually thought about me so much… I wonder if he left things for big sis too…" Lucky was lost in his thoughts as he finished his tenth chili dog while moving swiftly on the busy market street. Typically, those who practiced the mystic way would be able to stave off hunger for longer than ordinary people. However, ever since Lucky's bloodline awakened, he had felt starving at nearly all times. Today, with these colossal chili dogs, was the first time his stomach had felt full in awhile. His body even proactively refined the essence energy in the meat and absorbed it into his own flesh.

He felt his skin tingling as he operated the {Primal Madness Sacred Exercise} to quench his flesh and muscles with the essence. He felt himself growing stronger. Once all of this essence got refined, he would be one-third of the way to the next lifeblood rank.

"Okay, back on the road!" Lucky was ready to catch up to the Sky Bus now that his hunger was partially sated. After all, he had the dried meat of an entire Rank 2 Darkwing Falcon and 80% of a Rank 2 Silver Eagle in the spatial bracelet. He could improve his lifeblood considerably if he devoured any of it. However, he was running low on time now.

Lucky currently didn't have the time to investigate this phenomenon. This detour had last far too long already. He took the nun-chunks out of his belt, and they disappeared into the spatial bracelet in a flash of mystic light. These nun-chunks were rank one mystic artifacts! Lucky had stolen them from one of the thugs that came after Antonio. He decided to call them the Twin Drakes! After that, he stored his mystic wand inside as well. This was the wand he stole from Young Savage, as his own wand hadn't yet been issued. The wand wasn't bound to him, but for some reason, Lucky had no problem using it. He only recently discovered that this was abnormal.

Wands had to be bound to the spiritual bridge of a magus for them to be able to use the wand. Binding wands also revealed the chemistry between a magi's potential and wand.

King Serpent Ascending Steps!

"According to Professor Sky, every wand must be registered before it can be used. What this actually means is that it has to be bound to the spirit bridge with a special spell," Lucky Riot pondered as he ran swiftly. The after images he left in his wake had the appearance of a king serpent baring its fangs, it was somewhat mystical. "However, it's essential to bind the right wand. Otherwise, an incompatible wand could even corrupt the spiritual bridge. I don't feel any connection with Young Savage's wand. So, for now, I'll just use it unbound."

Thus, Lucky immediately left the city at top speed. As he passed the city gates, he admired the hieroglyphs within. Before he wouldn't have thought much about these images, however now things were different. Lucky was currently a Rank 1: Apprentice Magus, and with his psyche perception, he could tell that those hieroglyphs were made from spirit power. Within them were several dozens of spell runes. He simply couldn't count them all in passing. These gates possessed a mystic formation laid out by a Mystic Spiritualist.

Lucky had no idea what this formation was truly capable of. However, he was at least aware of its existence! This was a significant improvement from before.

Outside of the towering city gates, there was a vast grassland full of scattered farmlands and forests. These forests didn't possess powerful mystic beasts, but there were still many fierce beasts. Many warriors and caravans were traveling towards Nibiru City from one town or another on the main road. Most of these people were treating him like air. There were also a few who saw his training armor and school crest and gave him a commoner's salute in reverence.

However, the route Lucky was taking didn't have any people visible for miles. This was the route that leads directly to the County Gateway. A massive fortress at the southernmost point of Disaster County. From where Lucky stood, the County Gateway looked like the mirage of a tiny toy in the distance.

"Almost there..." said Lucky Riot to no one in particular.

However, not four miles after he left the city gates, his spirit power detected a projectile rapidly entering his perceptive range. It was approaching his back with terrifying velocity! Around the arrow, Lucky could perceive a frosty energy signature. He even vaguely sensed a familiar scent. If this arrow got too close, the cold energy would slow him down just enough for his death to be assured! Lucky immediately dropped forward in mid-stride and changed his direction f.o.r.c.i.b.l.y by spinning on his palm.

The arrow zipped past his cheek just as he spun around, a thin line of blood trickling out. Smelling his own blood, Lucky experienced the strangest sensation. His rage immediately exploded!! He felt his abdomen about spurt magma like energy as he quickly revolved his spirit power to f.o.r.c.i.b.l.y control himself. He even sealed off his sense of smell for the first time in his life!

This took time to describe, but in less than a second after dodging the arrow, Lucky shot off rapidly back in the direction he came from. In front of him, five men in black clothes quickly were approaching him with weapons drawn. Lucky promptly noticed a young man who appeared around 21 years old next to another man the same age. The other three trailed behind these two, allowing Lucky to mark them as the leaders.

To Lucky's initial shock, this man looked like an older and more dashing Frankie Baldez. They even smelled similar. That familiar scent from before was this man! One of them had Silver Mercury Gang flag tied around his head with the silver star design crossed out.

As it was the first man Lucky had consciously killed, he remembered Frankie's face very well. For the first couple of weeks after that incident, the face of Frankie Baldez had haunted him a bit. He relived that moment in his dreams. The Silver Mercury Gang at the time was a genuine threat to him. Of course, today's Lucky just sneered. He seemed to figure out who this group of avengers was. Had this been a couple of months ago, maybe he would be nervous.

However, how strong was the current Lucky Riot?

Eye of Horus!

When Lucky was less than 500 meters away from his opponents, his spirit power swept out, and his profound scanning reported their strength to his ethereal third eye. His senses suddenly seemed to sharpen dramatically, but he didn't have time to consider this.

"Two tenth level Hard Bodies, and three at the ninth level," chuckled Lucky inwardly, "Even before last night's harvest, I wouldn't fear these punks."

The aforementioned young man next to the Baldez brother was the one with the bow in his hand. He wasn't sure how this would all turn out in the end, but one thing Lucky knew for sure was that he had already marked this man for death. If Lucky didn't have his perceptive force state active, what would have happened?

He didn't dare to imagine.

"Kasino Riot!" Sancho Baldez and his goons stopped around 200 meters away from Lucky as he bellowed out, "You murdered my brother, you dirty motherf.u.c.ker! I bet you imagined a lofty Thoth Academy genius like yourself was untouchable? Well, today, you will die!"

Unfortunately, and to Sancho's dismay, Lucky Riot was still rushing at them madly like an out of control bus barreling down a steep hill.

"Sancho... this punk ain't normal, right? No sixth or seventh level warrior can dodge my arrow, let alone move so swiftly! I can feel his pressure approaching from here. He can't possibly be at the seventh level! We should use our best formation," said the warrior next to Sancho.

"Tch. Man up, Evan!" snarled Sancho Baldez. He simply didn't put this weak punk in his eyes. Plus, Evan was an archer, and archers always favored the high ground. All Sancho wanted was to capture Lucky and beat him to within an inch of his life. Then, he planned torture Lucky until he got his hands on the beautiful Margot Frenzy. After that, Sancho would force Lucky to watch while he banged Margot's brains out until she collapsed and died of exhaustion! Sancho's eyes turned crimson and deranged as he thought to here, "Don't forget what that punk did to your cousin, Theodore! We must take him down today!"

At the mention of little Teddy, Evan's eyes also turned scarlet as rage filled his heart. Killing intent leaked from his eyes, but it was replaced by shock the next instant.

My god!

What was that?

A foot-shaped blade?

Divine Serpent Surfing the Skies, second style!

King Serpent Ascending Steps!

Hundreds of meters away, Lucky's speed dramatically increased by five times. Before Sancho and the company could react, Lucky was in front of Evan with a flying kick taken from the Divine Dragon Tactic's second style. He didn't even use any of his mystic strength and attacked with the power of his physical body alone!

BAM!

His foot collided with Evan's face and bone-crushing sounds were heard as his face caved in gruesomely. Evan's body shot through one of the goons behind them, causing them both to crash-land 50 meters away. Brain matter and blood could be seen fl.i.c.k.i.n.g everywhere as Lucky shook his foot like a sword.

"Argh! My leg! F.u.c.k!" the goon whom Evan crashed through had his leg disfigured, with bones sticking out in three places, he was gravely injured.

At the same time, Lucky landed where Evan was previously standing. He crossed his arms, and calmly stared Sancho Baldez in his eyes. They were mere feet apart from each other. For warrior's in a battle, this was far too close for comfort. Sancho's mouth was opened wide, and his brain had yet to process the apparent demise of his friend. Evan had quit Silver Mercury as well when he heard what happened to his cousin.

He had vowed to help Sancho clear these punks.

They even managed to link up with Young Savage and the big backer, who were supporting Silver Mercury from the shadows. These dark forces already had the full profile on Lucky, and he was on their primary target list. That was why Sancho was shocked to find that this Lucky was not only fierce and unreasonable but actually a head taller than himself.

This didn't seem to match the profile, right?

Sancho actually felt his back covered in cold sweat as he felt the slight heat coming from his enemy's body. It felt like he was standing next to an active volcano! It could blow at any moment. Sancho subconsciously retreated half a step. Lucky Riot's face was indifferent as he asked a simple question, "I'm sorry, I seemed to have just killed someone again. Arrows sure are dangerous, right? By the way, who are you again?"
