Fierce Storm sneered as he had often flirted with this woman, and he knew her temper well, "This brat is bound to get it now."

Unfortunately, Fierce Storm was bound to be disappointed.

"Uh.." Brenda Hemingway stared blankly for half a breath before her face turned a bit pink, and she averted her gaze, "Th.. thank you, Lucky. I will be in charge of the second level of the Spiritual Trial. I expect to see you at the finish line."

Brenda winked at Lucky flirtatiously as she walked past him and pat his shoulder. Lucky felt stunned that she didn't call him by Kasino. Was this... considered a step forward? Without turning his head at all, he focused heavily on those swaying h.i.p.s walking away with his psyche perception. This made the s.e.n.s.i.t.i.v.e Brenda Hemingway feel like dozens of tiny hands were rubbing on her booty. Her face turned scarlet, and she attacked Lucky's psyche perception lightly with her spiritual power.

However, as she walked away, she was smiling seductively.

Wincing in pain, Lucky's heart raced as he promised himself to honor this magus teacher more in the future. Much, much more.

Meanwhile, Fierce Storm was totally dumbstruck and had yet to recover from his shock. What kind of play was this now? She didn't punish him? Is this privilege because he was a talented student of her Magi Class? Or was it fear of her senior apprentice sister, the Guru?

Somehow, Fierce Storm didn't believe either of these assumptions. He felt very unsatisfied, as he had tried to woo this woman for over 500 years, through all sorts of different eras and time. Now, some brat who had yet finish puberty had gotten a blush from her?

It was simply unfair.

If Lucky Riot knew what Fierce Storm was thinking right now, he would definitely be shocked! He didn't even realize he was conversing and flirting with thousands of year old monsters!

"Lucky, you really are here!" came an excited and flowery voice from behind the young and middle-aged men. Lucky Riot turned his head and smiled back at Aubrey Graham, who had obviously come sprinting over as soon as Magus Hemingway told her that Lucky had arrived, "I thought you might have changed your mind..."

"Well met, class prez. You ready for the Rank 1 Mystic Beast trial?" asked Lucky with a warm and radiant smile that made Aubrey blush. Lucky was thrilled to not have to speak with this big brute anymore. Talking to a soft and pretty girl was far better by comparison. In fact, they simply couldn't compare to each other at all.

Seeing this, Fierce Storm sneered and moved away.

"Yes… it should be okay!" said Aubrey Graham confidently, a competitive fire burning in her eyes, "My dad taught me a new sword art, so I don't think I can fail today! Even better, I bet I'll definitely take the best score."

'Best score? No way dude...' thought Lucky privately.

He totally didn't take the Dean's words about keeping a low profile to heart. He was going to win everything, blowing all these so-called geniuses out of the water, and no one could stop him! Lucky Riot was no trash. He was sick and tired of being referred to as waste. Because of this, he was going to show his dominance. After all, were the other genius students trying to keep a low profile?

The answer was no. The genius students wanted to stand out!

Just because he didn't have a prestigious background, Lucky was expected to bow down to these inferior beings?

Why should Lucky let anyone else shine more brightly than the blazing star that was himself? He felt this was an insult to his mystic dao, to his divine heritage! A terrifying dragon roar echoed inside of Lucky's mind. Of course, he had yet to truly establish a mystic dao, nor did he understand his heritage very well. Also, that random dragon roar really scared him a lot.

"Oh yeah? So you'll be participating as a warrior and not as an apprentice magus?" asked Lucky Riot curiously with a light laugh. He would've thought that Aubrey Graham, the Magi Class president, would use magic in the trial. According to Magus Hemingway, she was the one closest to reaching Rank 2: Novice Magus! This was in spite of having just joined the class a couple of weeks ago.

Rank 2 was considered the real start of the Magi Path. At that point, she would be compared in the same breathe as the two class geniuses.

"Mn, and with my Rank 2 spell [Immolate], along with my Purple Gust Butterfly Blade, I will definitely score first place in the Rank 1 Mystic Beast Trial! Of course... no one knows how strong you really are, Kasino," said Aubrey with her hands behind her back while walking next to Lucky Riot. She smiled with a sweet expression on her face, "You and the other students with a Magus Professor at the school only have to come to class twice a week, so you always miss the end-of-week spars."

Lucky Riot suddenly stopped in his tracks, visibly shocked. This stunned Aubrey Graham, who barely ever saw Lucky's good-looking face change during a conversation. After all, she had always spent a lot of time secretly looking at his face, even back then, before they made it to AP…

Actually, Aubrey Graham never had to wait so long to get into the Advanced Academy. Due to a secret crush, she secretly suppressed her cultivation as she didn't want them to be separated. However, her crush suddenly vanished for a year, and they have separated anyway, causing Aubrey to be very depressed. Lucky for her, by suppressing her cultivation for so long, she managed to advance two levels at once!

Suppressing her cultivation was difficult, and she had often berated herself as foolish. This actually helped her in the long run, as her foundation was excellent. That's why she was able to reach the ninth level so quickly. Indeed, her crush was the same in this aspect.

"You mean there's actually a sparring match at the end of every week?!" Lucky, the crush above, was visibly upset. An ethereal eye tattoo suddenly lit up on his glabella. Merely, it was so pale that Aubrey didn't even notice it as Lucky continued his antics. She was quite intrigued by this new animated Lucky indeed as he complained, "No fair, why don't they tell me these things?"

Lucky was upset because he felt this information would have benefitted him greatly. In fact, he could have long since wiped the floor with that egotistical Jim Mercury and even taught that fatty Bruce a thing or two as well. Lucky hadn't forgotten that those arrogant guys needed to be put in their place. He reflexively checked Aubrey's body with his profound scanning, causing Aubrey to experience a sudden chill. He was genuinely shocked by the result.

"Holy... you're at the ninth level now?!" Lucky Riot's eyes grew excited. After all, only thrilling battles could quickly develop and evolve a growing warrior. Aubrey was shocked by his exclamation, but realized that the chill she felt must have been Lucky's spirit power!

How swift!

'How did he do it? Isn't he only at the eighth level?' As a ninth level warrior, Aubrey Graham could see through Lucky's essence qi at a glance if he exposed it. Even if he didn't release any, her spirit power could measure it approximately. However, if her own essence qi was stronger by a level, then how could Lucky do the same as her? 'Wait! The eighth level?! Didn't he just reach the seventh level recently?'

"How old are you even?" asked Lucky Riot suddenly. Aubrey's thoughts went blank for a moment before she blushed again. This was the first time Lucky had asked something intimate about herself like this. She felt like he was finally taking a real interest, and she grew more confident in talking to him.

"I... actually my birthday is the day after yours..." said Aubrey Graham, her face rosy.

"What?!" responded Lucky in complete shock. They were actually so close in age? This entire time? "So then that means you would be 16 years old right now? The ninth level of the Hard Body Stage at 16... It is no wonder that Magus Hemingway favors you so."

"Mn, Professor treats me very well," Aubrey Graham admitted to being Brenda Hemingway's direct student honestly. She didn't want secrets between her and Lucky. Although she had yet to tell anyone this, her professor had never forbidden her from doing so. They were merely similar in nature, and thus neither one of them had made a fuss about it. Lucky Riot nodded as he had already presumed this to be the case.

Aubrey, for one, thought the current Lucky was extremely cute. She smiled beautifully as she giggled, "Well, now you know about the sparring. What will you do about it?"

"Fight, why not fight?" Lucky Riot said, exasperated, "I'll definitely participate once we get back!"

"Be careful, Lucky," Aubrey Graham said cautiously, her tone laced with worry and fury, "That Jimmy Mercury wants to hurt you bad. He's been trying to turn the class against you, but Fatty Bruce and Caine always get in his way. Nevara often speaks up as well, but she's afraid of Jimmy. I refuse to associate with a Mercury."

"Oh yeah?" Lucky Riot sneered. He didn't expect Aubrey to associate with Jim Mercury on any level considering their family's situation. It was best for the school if these two ignored each other completely. However, who would have thought that Fatty Bruce would stick up from him, "How interesting."

"Line up, everyone! We will be departing now!"
