Like a hurricane damaging a town, he went berserk as he vented out his anger by destroying the living room. He threw the nearby things that were within his reach onto the floor along with his outburst screaming. He didn't care if anyone heard him and called him a madman.

After satisfied with the damage he had caused, Damien sunk onto the sofa and hung his head low. His hands clasped in his l.a.p as he crouched his upper body. Soon, he fell into a deep thoughts analysing the cause to his current anger.

Who would have thought, this young heir was never fond of his noble status and one of his most d.e.s.i.r.es was to escape from the weight of the title he had to shoulder since he was born. Definitely, he became more outraged when he was reminded again and again about the honour he should maintain for the sake of his family's reputation.

Although he was pampered by his mother and the family, to Damien, William O'Ryan, was never regarded him as the child of the family who should be treated with true parental love. In William's eyes, he was only a soulless body who had been entrusted with the crown of the successor of Scorpion Group and O'Ryan Legacy, just because he carried the O'Ryan bloodline. In a simple words, Damien never had a father's love all this while. His endless tantrums were his way to get his father's attention, wishing that his father would discipline his naughty behaviours as the biological father who truly cared about his own son.

A loving father would occasionally put on his fierce face and domineering tone when scolding his child as to reprimand the child over the mess that he had brought to the family and this attitude rarely could be seen on William's discipline to Damien. He often did notorious actions that could damage the family's reputation however the family always left him off easily without any punishments. In the event where he really tested his father's patience, William would give him stern warnings with cold face. Today was the first time ever he received the burning glares from William and on top of that a painful slap on his face.

Damien's wish came true but he couldn't accept the accusation made by William on his girlfriend, Dania. His own father called the love of his life a vixen and even accused her of influencing him to neglect the family which wasn't the case. Had his father never realise that the root to his naughty actions was because of his father, himself?

Dania was nothing like what his father said. In fact, she was his heroine who saved him from the despair of genuine love and led him out of the darkness. Damien wasn't born as a playboy but due to the deprive of love, he changed his nature but his flamboyant personality stopped when he met Dania during his studies at Winter Academy where he took his business programme.

That girl painted his dull life with rainbows and he began to experience the rollercoaster of love sensations in which he had never been exposed to when he started the relationship with Dania. Previously, he only had one emotion that he embedded within him which was the heartless feeling. He was a young boy who acted so cold towards the people around him and never established any personal relationsh.i.p.s with any woman before. But with Dania, he cherished every moment he had together with her as she taught him everything about love that he had never felt before. Both of them had so many common personalities which made them feel comfortable with each other.

Like the common fairy tale, Dania wasn't from any of the prestige families however she understood him very well. She was very attentive to his struggles as the heir of Scorpion Group and O'Ryan Legacy. They were a perfect couple which completed each other's d.e.s.i.r.es but everything went sour because of the business deal behind the marriage between O'Ryan and Wilson's family which was made without his consent.

Damien had to cut off his relationship with Dania as that time he had no power to protect her in case he went against of the family's decision. Aware of the pressure being put on him, Dania also ended their love with the promise that one day, she would come back to his side and be the most qualified person as the daughter in law of O'Ryan family.

In response to this strategy, William was very satisfied with Damien's professionalism in securing huge business transactions and thus he has no choice but to spend his wealth to cover up Damien's scandals. He somehow understood his son's retaliation and chose to endure how explosive the scandals could be if exposed to the public. This was because the marriage deal was made without considering Damien's opinion since everyone in the family except Damien agreed on the great benefits it brought to the family's wealth hence no point if Damien's opinion were considered. One versus majority could never win.

Now, Damien finally broke free of the marriage and all he wanted was to reunite with his first love.

"Darling... OH MY GOD! WHAT HAD HAPPEN???"

Just in time, a soft voice interrupted his train of thoughts causing him to shift his eyes onto the owner of the voice. In an instant, the tenderness replaced the fiery emotion reflected in his eyes the moment he saw the petite figure by the hallway. He no longer looked like a madman instead he appeared to be broken-hearted which incited anyone who saw his condition to comfort him earnestly.

"Oh dear...."

Soon, Damien fell into the warm embrace as if it could heal the turmoil that he currently was suffering.

In front of this woman, he no need to hide his most vulnerable self nor wasn't ashamed of crying neither.
