--- Private Mansion , North West Land ---

It was late evening. A medical treatment was quickly conducted on Hannah Douglas who was found unconscious with overdose amount of drugs inside her body. With Oscar's driving skill, the four by four vehicle reached the private mansion belonged to O'Sullivan family real estate faster than ambulance. On their way there, Noah had called his private medical team to be on standby and also informed the girl's condition to the doctor in charge so that the medical team could prepare and effectively treat the girl.

"We've pumped out the drug pills out of her system. But we still need to monitor her closely to confirm on any residue left." After completing all the necessary treatment, the doctor in charge informed the boss, Noah of the treatment result.

"Good. I'll leave her in your care." Trusting his medical team's diagnosis, Noah briefly glanced on the sleeping girl before heading out of the room. He was satisfied with the girl's current condition and that was all he wanted to hear. Upon opening the door, there were two ladies who looked worried and anxious waiting near the door entrance. Without dwelling, Noah forwarded the doctor's words and offered hospitality to both of them as the owner of the mansion. Moreover, it was his decision to bring the girl to this mansion not to the hospital so naturally, this was what he should do.

"Don't worry. She's fine. My people will provide both of you room for stay until she's awake."

"Oh dear. Thank you so much, Sir. Thank you for saving my girl." Elaine rushed to Noah's side who stood by the door frame as she expressed her gratitude to him. From her standing, she saw the familiar girl, lying on the bed unconsciously with an IV drip inserted to one of her veins.

In response, Noah just nodded his head once and moved aside to give space for Elaine to walk into the room. At the same time, Casey who drove Elaine to the location specified by Noah in his text came closer to Noah as to inquire more about the incident today.

"Is the girl really okay?"

"She got the treatment on time so now she's no longer in red zone."

"Then we do really owe you this time. The repair bill... it's on me."

"Ms Hugh, I think it's a shame for me to accept your gratitude gift over this matter. Moreover, the accident is my fault and saving the girl is what I should do as a human being. Instead, I should treat you for a meal as my appreciation token for your trust. I believe my appearance at that abandoned mansion along with the drugs inside that girl should arouse your suspicion towards me but you chose to believe in me."

"Indeed. I should've doubted you but the girl's life is more important and I'm convinced that a person that comes from influential family like you would be extremely careful to not expose yourself if the matter is involving drugs. Although I know it's common for your type of class to be dismissed from the drug scandals but I don't think it's a smart move to be caught red handed by NGO like me."

"True enough. I'll give my utmost cooperation to you in regards of this matter. As for the reason why I was there earlier, I'll further explain to you later on. Now, I need to excuse myself to attend some of my private matters."

Noah slightly bowed his head down as a form of respect and made a brief direct eye contact with Casey before walked away while Casey just observed Noah's back slowly faded from her sight silently.

Based on what Elaine had told her so far, Mr Martin Douglas and the family didn't know what had happened to their daughter, Hannah Douglas based on the fact that Hannah was the apple of her family's eyes and Hannah, herself didn't want her family to have known about this. So to start off the case, she must find out more about the personal relationship between Hannah and her rumoured boyfriend which was the key clue of this case.

As Casey settled on her first move, she went inside the room and saw Elaine weeping in tears. Seeing this scene, Casey could only comfort Elaine by gently stroking the shoulder repeatedly as to show her sympathy. In the same room, there was a group of people wearing white coat busy doing their own work at one of the corners of the room. Nearby them, a lot medical equipment were neatly arranged. Surely they were the doctors and nurses that had been entrusted by Noah to look after the unconscious girl. Sensing that it wasn't a suitable time and place to inquire Elaine about the girl's rumoured boyfriend, Casey chose to drop off her plan. Maybe some other time she could find the right timing to carry out the plan.

Buzz! Buzz!

Casey's phone in her side pocket vibrated indicating a notification came in so she pulled out the phone and swiped open the locked screen. Automatically the notification popped up. It was an article published online by one of the local news station.

'DAMIEN O'RYAN WITH A NEW LOVER WERE SEEN TOGETHER FOR THE FIRST TIME AFTER THE DIVORCE TOOK PLACE.'

Underneath the title, there was a photo of a man and a woman intimately hugging each other in front of a private residence. The faces were blurred but the news station dared to publicly state the identity of the man however the exact location of the place still remained unknown.

Reading the highlight gossip reminded Casey of her appointment the next day with the former wife of Damien O'Ryan, Mia Wilson. She needed to go back to her office to prepare for the appointment and this gossip somehow could become a handy tip for her tomorrow.

Whispering to Elaine, Casey excused herself and said that she would be back tomorrow after settling her work. She also reminded Elaine to take care of herself so that she won't fall sick at this crucial time. After doing so, only then she exited the room and left the private mansion to go back to her office. It seemed that for the next few days she would be so busy with two urgent matters on hand. Both cases involved two influential and prestige families in West City so the pressure definitely was at the very high stakes.
