Underneath the three decades landmark building was located the 42 ft by 66 ft secret room at its bas.e.m.e.nt level. Despite its long establishment, the building was still well-kept and had the strictest security control.

This building was first built when after the riot in of South West Land finally subsided. After the royal family decided to abandon this region due to the rumoured massacre on one of the royal families, the underground powerful gangs fought for the control for months which had the riot to occur. In the end, it was the Captain John, The Feared gang that won the power battle.

The head of that gang, Sir John secured the coastal area of the SW Land and established his port there. That was how West Cliffestockbeach was developed and became the private town in that region although the democratic system had been successfully implemented there when the reconstruction took place. The royal families' wish to fully eliminate the underground parties was never accomplished as the SW Land was forever where the control of underground gangs were firmly rooted.

So that landmark building was actually the symbol of Sir John's power in SW Land. There was only one door separating the secret room and the hallway hence nobody could enter or escape without passing through the tight security checkpoint before reaching that door. All kind of accessories and electronic devices were prohibited in that room. Only their piece of clothes on their bodies was allowed to enter the room.

At the bas.e.m.e.nt, Noah and his special scouts team managed to intrude the landmark building after beating the guards on duty into the unconscious state and with only a single try, He Shan unlocked the passcode on the secret door room. Without wasting any second, they rushed into the room but shocked to see the condition of that secret room.

It was an experimental laboratory! There was an unknown but strong pungent smell surrounded the damp room. They were fully prepared as they had the mask on that blocked that smell from inhaling that undistinguished vapour. In that room, there were at least ten stainless steel long tables with each of table got transparent tubes connected to various glass cylinders with different colours of liquids in them. The room was brightly lighted up, leaving no corner unlit. On side of the room, a few white shelves were neatly arranged and also filled with countless white packages. Strangely, at the very end of the room, a computer was set up at the corner of the laboratory.

"Take away whatever that are portable and make sure get that white bags as well." ordered Noah to his men while walking towards the computer.

He then switched on the computer as he hacked the security computer system. The windows software took 7 seconds to fully operate. He Shan connected his hard disk into the system and automatically all the files saved in the computer's hard drive were copied to his disk.

In the meanwhile, Oscar, Noah's right hand assistant was assigned to guard the bas.e.m.e.nt lift outside the secret room and using his laptop which was connected to the CCTV, he warned his team of their opponent's new movement at the ground level. Through the earpiece function, Alex's voice sprang into everyone's eardrum.

"Boss, they're coming in 3 minutes"

"Hold on to what you've gathered so far and go block their way from both sides!" Noah's stern voice through the earpiece immediately halted the rest of the team from roaming all over the room.

Except for Noah, all of them exited the vault room and headed to the ground level. Oscar quickly dispersed the rest of the gang into two groups. One group to the east wing of the building and another one to the west wing. He didn't leave his post after assigning the team because he needed to protect his boss who was still in the secret room as he continued observing the footages on his monitor.

Outside the vault room, there was only one pathway to exit the bas.e.m.e.nt at the end of the hallway. If the bodyguards hired by the Captain John's gang managed to block the exit, Noah had a slim chance to escape within the time frame. Although it was extremely pressuring, Noah remained composed and let his senses did the job. His sharp eyes scanned through the room and looked for a possible secluded area to hide in the case he couldn't leave the room on time. At the same time, his fingers were busy cl.i.c.k.i.n.g the electronic files on the computer and transferred some of the data into his hard disk.

Tick... Tick... The time limit almost reached 3 minutes but Noah still fixated his eyes on the computer. 1 minute more left for the file transfer to finish loading.

"Boss, you have to get out now!" warned Oscar but Noah was keen on handling the situation alone so he instructed Oscar to help out others.

"Leave your post and clear the way for the team to escape. I'll handle the matter here."

"Boss!"

"GO NOW!!! Others, cover your own track and don't let them find any of you."

Darn! Oscar almost cursed out. He hated this kind of situation where he was forced to abandon especially his boss on the battlefield but he couldn't do anything except to obey his boss's orders. He hastily packed his laptop and shouldered his bag. He went up reluctantly leaving his boss alone at the bas.e.m.e.nt before cutting off the access to the lift.

30 seconds left and the loading was about to finish... Tick... Tick...

The opponent almost closed in on Noah and they were approaching the lift to the secret room.
