Nick hurried back to his port with dark face and seemed to swell with fury. His subordinates who guarded the port were on their tiptoes when they saw his boss came back with endless curses under his breath. They all held their breath tightly, worried that their boss would snap at them even at the smallest thing like this.

"Boss, Mr Noah is waiting for you inside. Do you want us to bring coffee for both of you?" One of them came to report the Noah's presence while he was gone and also offered coffee to him to soothe his anger but he was replied with the loud sound of the door banging on its hinges.

Inside the room, Noah crashed on his comfy one-seat sofa and leisurely hung his feet on the coffee table. Nick's private port was unlike the West Mansion Wing and even his room was way below the standard of Noah's study room. But the furniture he bought for the port including his room were the best among the best considering that he and his subordinates spent 85% of their life there.

"Scram! I bought that sofa for my only use." Nick slightly kicked one side of Noah's leg to shoo him.

Noah retorted, "Where's your hospitality? You can't let your guest stood while you sit." The room only got one sofa matched with the coffee table at its centre while on the side of the room, there were many shelves full of dusty files and a few long wooden tables arranged unsystematically with doc.u.ments scattered on them.

"Oh! You can either squad or sit on the floor. Not my business."

Seeing this grumpy attitude, Noah let out a soft chuckle and asked, "What's wrong? I've never seen you like this. Who and what did they do to you?"

"Well, you should ask that yourself. Argghh... what kind of student do you send to me? That kid... HAH!... Thinking about it make me so angry..." The anger had yet to subside.

It was his first time encountering such an insolent student. Well, although he hadn't teach that new student, he specifically made effort to persuade the headmaster to let her in without taking any test and be put under him as he would be responsible for any troubles she made.

When he received the emergency call from her, he was going through the old files and didn't sleep for a few days so that explained how ragged he was. When he picked up the call, it got cut off immediately and when he tried to call back, the line was switched off. That arose his alert. It took him to drive almost 2 hours to reach the school from his port urgently but ended up punishing the elite agents over a trivial matter. He was extremely frustrated about it.

"Student?? Ohh.. that Mia Wilson... I thought you already know her... You're the one that dug out the story behind her adoption case... and speaking about that Wilson family, I think you should see this."

"What nonsense is this?! That Wilson couple still alive? Why did they fake their death?" Nick looked at his sworn brother as he waited for the answer but Noah shook his head instead. Noah too didn't know why did they pull such stunt, making their daughter cried for their death for entire two years.

"I, originally sent that adopted daughter of theirs to your place so that I can use her as my pawn when facing that O'Ryan family but my plan will backfire if those Wilson and O'Ryan were the accomplice from the beginning.."

"You mean one day, the Wilson couple will show in front of her and persuade her to work with O'Ryan instead of you?"

"Or that Mia Wilson is tricking us. She may has joined in hand with her adopted parents and her former in law family. She came to me using my father as the excuse. The tie clip... maybe they forged the way they got it."

Both of them kept quiet.

These possibilities were obvious but just how far these could unravel the whole conspiracy?

"Nick, I need access to the whole South West Land. I must find out who are her biological parents so that I can buy out her loyalty." plead Noah. His firm tone showed how serious he was wanting the access. South West region was a curse to him but he must beat the curse to gain full control over the battle. Everyone that he knew came from that land always brought bad luck and hatred. It was a problematic region but with his current power now, he couldn't change things that he didn't like about this country.

Hearing that request, Nick sighed helplessly, "You know that's impossible. You're seeking your own death if you're keen to have all the access unless..." He paused.

"Your grandpa could help you with this. After all, he once upon a time.. was part of the elders in that region."

Noah shook his head hard. No! He won't ever return back to that dull mansion for the sake of this matter. He could beg others' help but not his grandpa. His resentment towards that old man was too big for him to swallow and let it fade away.

"Then I've got another idea...It's not necessarily you must go to the South West Land to investigate the case. If you ask the right person, the truth will come out." Nick thought of a good plan. A person would show their true self when they were on the brink of death so Nick's plan must be associated with the grim reaper's job.

Noah twitched his eyebrows as he reflected Nick's words. Both of them had a different method when it involved interrogating people. Noah would use the brutal but honest reality to nub at his opponents' vulnerabilities while Nick, on the other hand, would use the extreme measures to make sure the foe open up their mouth.
