"I bet the flies came because he hasn't showered for days. Just look at his shabby face. No wonder it attracts the flies. Haih... I could've won earlier if not for the flies. Just wait next time, I'll win for sure!" Mia went wild as she kicked the chair flying across the room and repeatedly slammed the pillow against the bedframe to lash out her anger. Earlier on, she lost the eye-staring competition because the flies kept on buzzing around her ears hence disturbed her focus. Accidentally she blinked her eyes and that how she got defeated.

"Woah... if only you direct your explosive energy into training, I guarantee that you can even beat the 2 tier Apprentice." Jane jokingly made fun of Mia's temper as if hers was any better.

Mia stopped venting out and narrowed her eyes sharply at Jane before she moved closer to Jane's bed where Jane was comfortably lying on while dragging along the pillow with her.

"Pillow fight!!!" Mia screamed as she attacked Jane.

Out of reflex, Jane quickly defended herself the pillow and returned the attack. The fight continued until Carolyn finally intervened. She f.o.r.c.i.b.l.y snatched both of the pillows and threw them away from these two 'attackers'.

Carolyn shook her head as she sighed helplessly. She felt like she had become a mother to two children who were now actively in the rebellious stage. Carolyn ended up chided them, "Can't you guys act like your age?! You guys are freaking 24 years old a.d.u.l.ts not 4 years old kids."

Speechless, Jane and Mia looked at each other disbelieved. This was the first time Carolyn lost her cool especially for Jane who had been her friend for an extended period, she had never seen this fierce Carolyn.

"What's wrong Carol? Did anyone bully you when I wasn't around?" asked Jane.

"If I got bullied, it's you! Haih, can't you stop making trouble? You're not going to be promoted if you keep offending the seniors. If the matters just involve only you then maybe it's fine. You have no problem to pass any of 1st tier tests but can't you think more about Mia? Today was her first class but she got punished instead practicing because you blatantly were rude to Senior Kathrine. Do you realise that tomorrow's class it's she that gonna teach the class and now she wants to do test. How's Mia going to pass if she didn't get to train?" Carolyn couldn't help but to nag at Jane's manner when bumping into the seniors. Now, Mia got involved as well.

Oh! This morning incident must have spread around. Jane wanted to say something as to refute but the words got stuck at her throat, unable to come out from her mouth. Realising her mistake, she then held Mia's hands tightly to her c.h.e.s.t as she pitifully asked for forgiveness. She had forgotten that now she got a weak friend to protect. Previously, she had no problem with this kind of issue as Carolyn knew how to defend herself but it was a different case for Mia.

But then the recent afternoon issue suddenly popped up in her mind and this had yet to be made known to Carolyn. Would Carolyn believe if she told her about Mia nervelessly fought eyes with Master Nick this afternoon and even made a false emergency call? This was way worse than Jane's rude behaviour.

As Jane was about to tell Carolyn, the door to the room was slammed open and five people uncivilly intruded the room. They were the seniors from 2nd tier Apprentice, one rank above them and Senior Kathrine was among one of them.

"How dare you went against Master Nick's instructions and you even bravely argued with him. Where are your manners?!" Senior Katherine sharply pointed at Mia and criticised her.

Mia shuddered in fear and didn't dare to directly looked at Senior Katherine , contrary to Jane who put on her usual poker face, unaffected by the loud shout while Carolyn had a puzzled look on her face as she wasn't able to fully process the words she just heard.

"Senior Kathe, I think you've heard wrongly. How could Mia...."

"YOU!! SHUT UP. WHO GIVES YOU PERMISSION TO SPEAK?! YOU'RE PUNISHED! 200 PUSH UP."

"AND BOTH OF YOU, GO RUN AT THE TRACK UNTIL I SAY STOP."

No choice, Jane and Mia headed out to the track and ran. Mia was worried about Jane because she was just recovered from fever and now had to run. If only Carolyn didn't tell them to not offend the seniors, both of them would have strike back and refused the punishment especially Mia who couldn't tolerate other people being punished because of someone else's faults.

If the seniors wanted to discipline her because of her attitude towards Master Nick, then she gladly ran at the track as to fulfil the punishment but the seniors had wrongly reprimanded both of her roommates because they tried to stand up for her. These seniors were just ganging up on them on the ground of disciplining them as an excuse when in fact, they were abusing their seniority.
