I saw her eyes widened in shock. I must be a creep right now, asking her out of nowhere. I didn't have the time to explain things to her. I have players to kill and tokens to steal. My domain needs me every passing second I wasted here.

Her eyes went back to normal, and something from her smile sent all my fine hairs to stand on end.

"Yes." She beamed before she showed me her hands that were tied by those resisting cuffs or whatever its name was.
Without another word, I had Lucy cut those cuffs. The blade aimed for her wrists, wanting to cut off her entire hand. Good thing that my grip on its hilt prevented it from doing unnecessary things.

Control yourself. You'll get plenty later. I mused to it.

The funny thing, though, was that the girl didn't seem scared that she was almost left without hands. Maybe she was confident that it'd grow back with a healer?

Is that right, System?
A healer sure is handy. I said to myself. Maybe I should find one or threaten one into joining me?

My thoughts were disrupted when the girl launched herself forward and hugged my arm tight. Her neon green eyes reminded me of toxic waste spilled on water, and the way she looked at me was like a cat that would bite in a few seconds.

She was definitely not normal. I thought to myself. But no matter. Her ATP was low that she didn't pose a threat.
"My name is Florin, master."

"You can just call me my lord." Like everyone else.

Florin's eyes shone from dull liquids of green to shimmering emeralds. "Yes, my lord."

I was glad that she was quick to catch up. However, I was surprised that there was no notification popping up on my screen.
