Other Dimension's Knight

At that moment, everyone went silent in the battle, nobody dared to move. The strike was powerful enough to alert even outsiders that weren't aware of magic. It was as if the time stopped in the city.

The strength of his sword was finally revealed, and it wasn't pretty. It was akin to an instinct, akin to a voice in one's head, telling to not go against this sword no matter what.

Outside, Rin and Archer were also silent, but Archer more than anyone else knew the power of this sword. He sensed the counter force stirring violently from the might of Alexander.

One hit, that was all it would take. Even divine spirits were afraid of the powerful weapon that has just appeared. One by one, they remembered the one that was wielding such strength.

The earth itself stirred, the weapon that was just used wasn't something that was meant to exist, yes, it was supposed to be a mundane sword made out of decent steel, nothing more.

The shadow was a powerful threat, more than any servant in here, even more than the golden king, and yet, it was disposed of with a single strike.

Alexander sheathed his sword and made it disappear, the action of him destroying the shadow didn't take more than a couple of seconds, yet it felt like an eternity for the people around him.

But he wasn't going to let go his opponents because of this, he retraced his twin swords and dashed towards Zouken.

The moment Zouken realized what was happening, it was already too late for him, and a life that he painstakingly tried to keep going was discarded by a single attack from Alexander.

Although a single strike wouldn't be enough to destroy a body completely made out of worms, Alexander's mana burst would be enough. Alexander's mana burst wasn't a normal one, instead the moment he used it, a golden light came out of his sword and eradicated the body of Matou Zouken. The light not only burned his body made out of worms, but it completely denied the existence of his body. The onlookers realized that it was a holy attack, and Zouken was described as the evil.

True assassin sensed his link getting weak, but he knew that it wasn't the end of the one known as Matou Zouken. As long as there was a single worm still present, his master would still live. Although it might take centuries for him to get back to his previous status, he could still cling to life, just like he had always done for the past centuries.

" Saber you have a fight to finish ! " said Alexander, noticing that everyone was simply watching him.

Saber ended up focusing back on her fight but true assassin wasn't in a good position. He needed to escape, but before he could do so, Alexander used his speed to get near him and severed the arm where his noble phantasm was. Although Alexander couldn't stop him, he would atleast cripple him for the war. While screaming in pain, true assassin disappeared from the scene.

" He escaped " said Alexander, with a frown on his face.

Arturia ended up making her sword disappear and Shirou was still stuck on the ground and trembling.

" Master are you ok ? " asked Saber as she came close to him, looking worried.

Shirou was still flabbergasted by Alexander's attack, meanwhile Arturia was impressed but she had seen her fair share of really powerful swords, hers being the prime example. Nonetheless, she could recognize that Alexander's sword was atleast as powerful as Excalibur when the seals are removed, but then again she didn't know if his sword had other abilities.

Thanksfully, Alexander aimed his blow at the sky otherwise this city might have just been obliterated.

When the powerful attack was sensed, in the church Kotomine widened his eye a bit at the sheer strength of whatever was just released.

But what made him widen his eyes even more was Gilgamesh's reaction. As soon as the energy was sent, Gilgamesh dropped his cup of wine and stood up with a grin on his face.

Gilgamesh was rejoiced, maybe he would find in this era someone decent. The noble phantasm that has just been released evoked a sense of greed inside of him, the same one that his most trusted weapon made him feel when he first laid his eye on the weapon. At the same time, he sensed something close to a pulse or a heartbeat coming from inside his treasury. Searching mentally inside his immense amount of weapon, he realized that the pulse was coming from Ea, his most powerful tool. It was as if the weapon has found an equal or something of the same rank.

" It seems that the intruder is a bit more interesting than the typical mongrel. Very well, I shall see his weapon's might. " said Gilgamesh, disappearing in a golden dusk and leaving the overseer slightly surprised.

Shirou managed to get back up after the awe and fear that Alexander's sword provoked within him. Atleast their objective was completed and they needed to return to Sakura in order to finally get rid of the things that have been tormenting her for the past years. Shirou felt a deeper happiness than he ever felt before when he thought about it. For him, saving others has always been a way to amend for who he abandonned this fateful day. Everytime he would save someone, he would save himself. But happiness was one of the few feeling he rarely experienced in his life, so he couldn't stop the smile from showing on his face while being supported by Alexander since the worms wounded his leg.

Both Alexander and Saber were really surprised to see Shirou smile, as he never shown this kind of expression before, well, not that Saber can talk...

Archer on the one hand was confused and not really comfortable with the changes in mentality that his younger counterpart was undertaking. His objective could be compromised because of this, he really needed to get Alexander out of the picture before it was too late. On the other hand he was glad that this 'shadow' was taken care of quickly because he sensed how dangerous that thing was. But obviously it meant that Alexander was as dangerous for being able to take it down like this.

" Archer we're going " said Rin as they were both in the surrounding observing the situation. She clicked her tongue seeing Shirou's operation going well. Although she was really happy that it succeeded, she wanted to help Shirou to make him owe her a favor and for getting payback.

Shirou, Alexander and Saber were on their way home from the fight. Alexander treated Shirou's wound and atleast it wasn't bleeding anymore, but the worm went quite deep before stopping so he would have to spend a few days at home atleast.

But as they were getting back home, Alexander suddenly dropped Shirou and walked in front of him and unsheathed his twin blades.

" What is happening Alexander ? " asked Shirou, seeing that even Saber was tensed out of nowhere.

" It seems that there is a couple of mongrels that will entertain me tonight. "

Saber was shocked as she looked on top of the house in front of them and saw a person that kept getting under her nerves the last war.

" It seems that my luck is really bad for seeing you again here. " said Saber with a visible frown on her face and her sword already ready to be swung.

Shirou was shocked by the hostility of Saber right now, he didn't know who was the guy in front of them, but even Alexander seemed quite wary of him.

" Don't say that, it is natural for the king to come and claim what is his. Although I was surprised to see you a second time, it just means that my possession is coming back to me in the end. " said arrogantly the man clad in a golden armor.

This sentence earned a laugh from Alexander which seemingly irritated Gilgamesh.

" Mongrel, I sugge- "

" It seems your arrogance knows no bound, king of heroes. But worry not, you using children to sustain your existence in this world and the fact that you are a threat means that I shall cut you down at one point. You just fastened the process by coming here by yourself. " said Alexander getting serious.

Gilgamesh frown got deeper, and hundreds of golden circle appeared behind him, all aimed at Alexander.
