Later on, Shirou was in front of his frontdoor, waiting for Rin.

" Oh, Tohsaka ! You're going home soon right ? I'll take you back. Tohsaka ? "

" Enough with the 'Tohsaka, Tohsaka' ! " said Rin.

" Tohsaka, what are you wearing ? " asked Shirou noticing that she was wearing clothes to sleep with.

" I spoke with Archer and had him bring me an overnight bag. I got Professor Fujimura's permission aswell. " said Rin.

" Ehh ? "

" I'll use the guest room on the right. " said Rin as Shirou let out an exhasperated sigh.

Shirou headed towards the bas.e.m.e.nt in order to train and more importantly check out what was wrong with his body.

With difficulties, he managed to open and close the steel door of the bas.e.m.e.nt and sat in front of an iron bar.

" 𝘛𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘦 𝘖𝘯 " said Shirou.

" 𝘛𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘍𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘢𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘭 𝘚𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘤𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦 "

" 𝘚𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘨𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘊𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘰- " said Shirou with difficulties before the pain was too much.

" Shirou, is something wrong ? " said Saber as she opened the door worrying.

" Oh, Saber ..... No don't worry it's nothing. " said Shirou trying to hide the pain present in his arm.

" Are you sure ? And what about your body ? Since this morning it's been in a bad state from what I can see. " said Saber.

" Oh .... you realized ? Don't worry, I'm just a bit sore. " said Shirou with a strained smile.

" Maybe we can ask Alex about this, after all he seems to know some spells about healing. " said Saber.

" Well, I guess we can do tha- wait, Alex ? "

Saber blushed a bit and coughed to try and hide her embarassment.

" More importantly, let's seek Alex...ander. " said Saber heading towards the door.

" I'm already here " said Alexander, appearing in front of her.

His sudden appearance surprised both Saber and Shirou, but since Saber was trained and had a lot of reflexes, she instinctivly kicked him, but Alexander caught her foot and just sighed.

" My apologies, I shouldn't appear like this. " said Alexander, deposing Saber's foot on the ground.

" But on Shirou's case, I don't have access to advanced healing spells in my current class and I have no idea how to heal what you're going through, in my opinion it should be fine after a couple of days, but maybe there's a way to accelerate your healing rate that I don't know. " added Alexander.

" A couple of days.... "

But suddenly Alexander and Saber turned around and Shirou sensed something near the door.

" Is most of your body still numb ? " asked Archer appearing near the bas.e.m.e.nt.

" Archer .... "

" That's hardly surprising . " said Archer.

" What do you want Archer. I thought we had a non-agression pact. " said Saber on an agressive tone.

Archer simply ignored her and marched towards Shirou.

" Stop right there. If you come any closer you must be prepared for the consequen- " started Saber.

" Calm down Saber. " said Alexander on the side.

" Yes, that's right, he doesn't want to fight. " said Shirou.

" Then, what do you want Archer ? Knowing you, you didn't drop by to say hello. " asked Shirou.

" Rin told me that you had a problem in your body due to magic and it seems that it's true. You have no sensation in half of your body, and your center of gravity is off by 7 cm ? " asked Archer.

" Ehh ? No I don't have sensation in most of my body and I don't know about my center of gravity but it's probably worse than this. " said Shirou.

Archer eyes' widened before narrowing on Shirou.

" What kind of magic did you perform to have a body in such state ? " asked Archer.

" That's not your problem Archer. " said Shirou, clearly not liking Archer.

" It is, as much as I don't like it, we're in an alliance, if you are not in condition to fight, it could endanger us aswell, especially when we plan to attack Caster soon. " said Archer.

Shirou just gritted his teeth at Archer's answer.

" I might be of some assistance for your problem " said Archer.

Shirou looked at Alexander but the white-haired knight just nodded so he accepted Archer's proposal.

Archer was now checking Shirou's body and magic circuits to see in what state they were.

" You're fortunate ... I excepted to see necrosis, but something that was closed has been opened. Although your magic circuits were a bit overloaded, it's nothing dangerous. " said Archer.

" Something that was closed has been opened ? " asked Shirou.

" Circuits you were meant to use from the beginning were closed due to neglect. The numbness is only temporary, by suddenly flooding circuits you never used with mana at full power, you sent them in a state of shock. And the huge influx of mana you received from whoever, even worsened their state but it shouldn't be dangerous and now your circuits are in an active state. " said Archer.

At the same time, he sent a bit of his prana inside Shirou's circuits to reactivate the circuits and get rid of the numbness.

Shirou nearly screamed in pain as the prana invaded his body. It was the same sensation he felt when Alexander healed Sakura but to a much lesser extent.

" That should do it. You should recover in a few days. When you can move again, you should be a better mage than before. " said Archer as he got up and was ready to leave.

" You certainly know a lot about this, Archer ... " said Saber.

" I went through something similar. At first I lost the use of one arm. "

" Wait up. " said Shirou, stopping Archer.

" What ? "

" I want to ask you something. " said Shirou.

" 'Let your ideals drag you to death' What did you mean by that ? " asked Shirou.

Alexander was a bit surprised by the sentence because of how accurate that was and couldn't help but to send a questioning stare at Archer.

" It seems self-explanatory. There's nothing to add. " said Archer.

" Then what the hell are you fighting for ? " asked Shirou.

" That's obvious. My reason for fighting is simply for myself. " said Archer.

" Just for yourself ? "

" That's right. If your d.e.s.i.r.e is to fulfill the ideal of not hurting anyone, then do as you wish. But only if that d.e.s.i.r.e is truly yours. " said Archer.

Alexander widened his eyes a bit and clicked his tongue, an action that didn't go unnoticed by everyone in this room.

As everyone was looking at him, he sighed in realization of what his master was exactly.

" It seems that I've underestimated you Shirou. You're .... more broken that I've thought. " said Alexander before disappearing.

' It seems that my master is more troublesome that I've thought .... ' thought Alexander as he left the 3 in the bas.e.m.e.nt.

The discussion in the bas.e.m.e.nt continued between Shirou and Archer.

Meanwhile in the Ryuudou Temple.

" It seems that I now have no choice but to steal Saber from that pathetic mage. Since Assassin disappeared I'll have more trouble than before " said a woman with her face hidded by a hood.

" But ..... In the end I've found someone even more interesting than Saber ... " said Caster as she looked at an orb with Alexander fighting against the Shadow represented.
