Other Dimension's Knight

Chapter 28 - XXVIII: Outclassed

This night everyone moved with their own agenda, but Caster definitly was the one that would decided how she wanted this game to go.

In the Church of New Fuyuki, a man could be seen on his knees, a cross in his hand, praying towards his lord. But the moment this man opened his eyes, all one would see the the emptiness in his gaze.

Behing him, purple mist started to join together until Caster was revealed. Next to her was Alexander, who seemed quite annoyed by the recent developments.

" Caster ... "

" Have we met before, overseer of this mad ritual ? " said Caster in a playful tone.

" What do you want Caster ? This place is an inviolable neutral territory. Regardless of what Heroic Spirit they may be, no servant can enter this place. " said Kotomine.

" The rules have changed " said Caster as she raised her hand to show her command seals to the priest.

Kotomine turned around and widened his eyes when he saw Alexander and the command seals.

" Command Seals ! "

" This servant is my puppet now, you understand now ? This war is as good as over already. What is wrong with me collecting my prize early ? " said Caster, smirking at the priest.

" It is wrong indeed. The Grail will not appear until only one servant remains. As a servant, surely you were made aware of this when you were summoned. " said the priest, getting back into a relaxed stance, although he was anything but relaxed.

" Yes.... the Grail indeed did say that. It ordered me to go forth and slay the other Heroic Spirits to activate the Grail. However .... that refers to the Greater Grail doesn't it ? " said Caster, her smirk getting even bigger.

" Tch"

" Tell me now, where is the Lesser Grail ? You priests are in charge of the keys for the Grail right ? "

Kotomine didn't answer for a while but stayed calm.

" There is no Holy Grail here "

" Do you wish to die ? "

" Don't make idle threats. You betray yourself, Princess of Colchis. You still have no stomach for brutality, don't you ? " said Kotomine with a smirk as his empty look stood upon Caster.

Caster didn't answer but mutliple Dragon Tooth Warriors appeared in the church and attacked the priest. While Kotomine instantly destroyed three of them, soon dozens appeared in the room and Kotomine realized that he was going to be greatly outnumbered by Caster's minions.

As Caster started to laugh at Kotomine's predicament, Alexander stepped forward and killed every minion with his twin swords.

" .... What do you think you're doing, pawn ? " said Caster angrily.

" Nothing serious. Just holding one of the promise I made earlier. " said Alexander, approaching the panting Kotomine with his swords raised.

" I don't think you understand in what position you are right now. Return to me immediatly and I'll let you off for this insolence. " said Caster.

" I'm afraid I can't do that Medea. A Knight has to live up to what he claims, therefore just as I promised, I will slay this ma- no, this thing in front of me. " said Alexander as he stopped about 5 meters away from the priest.

Kotomine clicked his tongue, while he could easily fake his death and escape Caster since she wasn't taking him seriously, he couldn't do so with the servant in front of him. He was well aware of the capability of this heroic spirit that destroyed his wish for brutality between servants. He was simply too strong for the other servants in this ritual.

Caster on the other hand was infuriated. This man, not only tried to change her, but also dared to go against her even though he was nothing but a pawn. She raised her hand ready to use one of her command seal to force him to grovel at her feet and finally act like the pawn he is.

" I order you, listen to my command this instant " said Caster.

As the red light of the command seal spread, Kotomine was a bit relieved since it seemed that the Heaven didn't let him die just yet, but he definitly wasn't prepared for what happened next.

Even under the magic of the command seal, Alexander simply shrugged it off, he could resist two command seals, and even three if it went against his belief, which was the current situation, there was no way Caster would actually get him to listen to anything.

He appeared in front of Kotomine nearly instantly, but the moment he tried to cut his neck, he felt only steel as he was greeted by a blue-haired man with a red-blood spear which was seaped with bloodl.u.s.t.

Unfortunately for Lancer, he wasn't fast enough and Kotomine still was slightly cut by Alexander's attack and was bleeding. It wasn't life-threatening but it spoke of Alexander's speed.

Lancer, being actually blown back by the attack, clicked his tongue and took his stance, an action that Alexander reciprocated.

" I never though I would lose in speed to someone of the Saber class, well I guess you learn something everyday " said Lancer, as his battle-maniac attitude started to show by how he was smiling.

Alexander didn't say anything and just analyzed his opponent, while Caster was absolutely vivid that even with a command spell she didn't manage to get Alexander to listen. But what made her even more angry was the fact that there was a part of her that rejected the idea of using command seals on him, or even order him around. She felt sickened by how she was changing due to the dream cycle and felt the need to end it quickly because she didn't know what she would become if the situation continued.

Without hesitation, the moment a leaf from a nearby tree touched the ground, both warriors rushed at each other. Lancer being completely outclassed, played on the range of his spear, and cursed at the fact that they were in a rather enclosed arena. Alexander engaged the fight by aimed at his left arm, Lancer's dominant arm, which was deflected by the spearman but due to the strength of the blow, Lancer was slightly off balance for less than a second.

Unfortunately, this was enough time for Alexander to deeply cut his left shoulder and kick him in the gut. He obviously didn't let Lancer use this to disengage and use his extra reach because he simply followed him and slashed downwards, and as he was blocked by the spear horizontally, he used the fact that his left arm was lacking strength due to the cut to his shoulder that was quite deep to use his other sword and bringing it sideways to Lancer's left.

Lancer tried to react to the attack but the slash was simply too fast, deeply injuring him as he tried to retreat a bit due to the danger. Alexander simply stomped his feet, catching him off balance and used his dexterity to hold his sword like a dagger and hit Lancer with the pommel. The blow was bone-crushing and by the time he realized that the air has been knocked out of his lungs, his head was already flying in the air, while his body was on the ground.

Within 10 seconds, Lancer had died by the hands of Alexander. This was simply bullying. There was barely any honor, thrill or anything that Lancer wanted in this fight, he was too outclassed to even defend correctly.
