Reincarnated In Testament Of New Devil

After detecting it's location, Basara flew to the direction of the dragon. The dragon was 25 km to the east from the village. Basara increased his speed and within twenty seconds he reached the dragon's current location. When Basara reached any place, he notice that the dragon was flying very high in the sky.

The dragon was around 40 meters in size with black scales and pair of large fleshly wings and a pair of horns on it's head. Without hesitation he flew to the dragon. The dragon immediately sensed Basara. The dragon immediate discharged flames from it's mouth towards Basara. He dodged the attack and teleported in front of the dragon with his space magic. The dragon was surprised that the human boy managed to dodge his flames and appeared in front of him suddenly.

Basara didn't want to waste time aging around. He kicked the air causing flames to rise in the atmosphere and in the next moment a magic circle appeared on his right hand releasing four fireballs. The fireballs and surrounding flames collided resulting in a huge pillar of flames that devoured the dragon. This move was known as 'Flame Surge'. When the flames vanished the dragon could still be seen, it wasn't damaged much. It only had a few scratches on it's body.

It just goes to prove how strong this dragon is. Basara used his wind magic 'Wind Cutter' to create sharp torrents of winds that could anything to pieces. The dragon flapped it's huge wings creating a huge shockwave. The shockwave collided with 'Wind Cutter' and both attacks cancelled our each other.

The dragon sing it's sharp class at Basara which Basara blocked with a barrier. The dragon kept striking the barrier until it finally crumbled. Basara curled up his hands into fists and channeled his flames into his fists. Basara punched the dragon's claw breaking them all at once. He again punched the dragon's arm which pushed the dragon five meters awayuntil it finally came to a halt. The scales on the dragon's arms which Basara punched had been ruptured.

The dragon released a pain filled screech. Black chromatic dragons couldn't roar, but instead they would screech. The dragon generated a huge fireball in it's mouth and attacked Basara with it. Basara countered the attack by generating a tornado. The tornado absorbed absorbed the flames as it became a flaming tornado and it was headed towards the dragon.

The dragon flew down and avoided the attack. The dragon began breathing flames towards Basara and Basara kept countering the flames with his own. Basara used wind magic to accelerate his speed and appear behind the dragon. This time he fused legs with the element of lightning and side kicked the dragon. The dragon flew back ten meters away, when suddenly Basara quickly appeared able it with his incredible speed and butterfly kicked it. The dragon crashed into the ground below.

But Basara didn't stop there. He summoned his lightning magic and the sky got covered by dark clouds. All the lightning in the clouds fused at a single point.

Immediately a huge violet thunderbolt was summoned that went crashing down on the dragon. Basara attacked the dragon with five continuos thunder strikes and the clouds finally dispersed.

On the ground, the dragon could be seen in a large crater. It's body was burnt, it's scales destroyed and it's wings had holes in them. It was severely damaged from the attacks. At this point, the dragon was extremely close to death. But then something happened.

The dragon screeched and mangas to stand back on it's feet. It was enraged. Dragon's have a special ability known as [Dragon's Rage]. Whenever a dragon flies into a rage, this ability provides them an extra boost of power increasing their power over five times. But the situation wasn't out f Basara's expectations, it went just as it should.

The dragon's injuries began healing at a visible rate until it was fully healed. It flew back up to the sky and attacked Basara with it's flames. But there was a change, the flames were black instead of their normal color. These flames were much stronger than the previous ones.

Basara became alert, he decided to use his hero powers inherited from Jin. Basara's entire body got covered and fused with a fearsome dark green aura. Before the flames could touch him, Basara punched the flames causing it to get devoured by his aura. Basara's own power level had increased by thirty times.

The dragon swung it's large tail at Basara which he caught with his right hand. He gripped the tail and started singing the dragon with one hand and throwing it upwards. With his supersonic speed, Basara appeared behind the dragon punched it's back with his fist shattering it's newly healed and stronger scales at once and leaving a huge wound on it's bad causing it to badly bleed. The punch threw the dragon forward and Basara again appeared in front of it but this time he punched it's face. Upon impact, all of it's jaws including it's jawline bike at once and a crack appeared on it's skull. Basara punched the dragon's stomach with incredible strength. His fist tore through the flesh of it's stomach leaving a hole in it's stomach.

The dragon coughed blood as it was on the verge of death. Basara attacked the dragon with a green colored lightning strike resulting in an explosion. The dragon was severely wounded all over again, but this time it was much worse. It's entire body was bleeding and most of it's scales and bones were broken. The dragon knew that it's fate was sealed and death was inevitable. But it has to die then it will also take down it's enemy along with it. The dragon mustered all the remaining strength and decided to put all it's power in all all out attack against the human boy.

It started going straight higher and higher into the sky like a rocket. It crossed the troposphere and tropopause and entered into the stratosphere. After reaching the stratosphere, without slowing down it began descending downwards. It started breathing it's strongest black flames and covering it's entire body with it, it started spiralling it's body while descending downwards with a uniform acceleration of 400 meters per second. From Basara's perspective it looked like a flaming comet approaching him at high speeds.

Basara's cold eyes remained indifferent to the dragon's last ditch effort of killing him. A dark green flame flashed in his left eye as a smirk flashed across his face. He started gathering his aura into his arms as he got ready to strike. The dragon kept descending towards Basara until it was only a meter away from hitting Basara. Basara attacked the dragon with a green energy blast that crashed against the dragon's body. His attack and the dragon kept clashing against each other only for five seconds, when the energy blast devoured the entire dragon. The entire dragon faded into oblivion as the blast faded away.

Basara calmed down his aura as his powers returned back to normal. Summoning Brynhildr, he used it to devour the dragon's soul that still remained in the vicinity. Vanishing Brynhildr into it's dimension again, Basara stared flying back to the hero village.
