"I've been waiting for you to arrive, Basara. Now, let's begin Zolgear's punishment." Lars said as he turned his gaze at Zolgear. His eyes were brimming with coldness and hatred. He had been waiting for this day since a very long time. Mio's foster parents were loyal demons under Wilbert. They built several orphanages in the Demon Realm and Lars was raised in one of those orphanages. For Lars, Mio's foster parents were like his own family members. They were like an older brother and sister to him. But from the day they died, Lars had become cold hearted and distant. He joined the Current Demon Lord Faction in hopes of one day being able to take his revenge on Zolgear. And today he finally got that chance due to Basara.

"No, no, no!! Please have Merc on me!! Basara, I can help you!! I know you are not evil!! I promise to never hurt Mio!! Instead I can help you with my powerful ancient magic to protect Mio!! I can give you anything you want!! Wealth, women, servants...anything you can ask for!!!" Zolgear desperately tried to beat around the chains that were there tightly wrapped around his body. He did not want to die! Not yet! Not so soon!!

"Why are you asking for mercy now? Why ask for forgiveness when you have willingly committed a crime? Forgiveness is given to those who make mistakes, who do something wrong unintentionally. But all the sins you have committed were done intentionally. How many innocents did you kill? How many lives did you ruin? How many women did you ****? How many people did you forgive? A punishment depends on the severity of a crime. Your crimes are so severe that it makes me nauseous. I saw that dungeon of yours. Punks like you deserve punishment. Today I will give an equal amount of pain to the pain that you have given others throughout your entire life. Lars, make him suffer."

"You don't need to tell me. I have been waiting for this day for ages." Lars then took out a screw from his pocket. He pushed the screw within one of Zolgear's pressure points. Zolgear released a blood curling scream due to the lungs of pain that his brain like a *Pang!*.

"No! Please let me go!!" But Lars was not finished. He took out five more screws from his pocket and pushed hem inside Zolgear's pressure points. Zolgear's blood curling screams echoed througout the small cottage. Afterwards Lars forced a healing potion down Zolgear's throat to heal him. He took out a hammer from a nearby cupboard. He casted enhancement magic on the hammer and without any hesitation he striked the hammer on Zolgear's left hand. Zolgear's bones immediately broke as he released another scream. Lars then broke all four of Zolgear's limbs with his hammer.

He then pushed another healing potion down Zolgear's throat to heal him. Lars then proceeded to picking out all of Zolgear's nails and teeth one by one as Zolgear wriggled around in pain. He also picked out one of Zolgear's eyes. All the while Lars was torturing Zolgear, Basara kept looking at Zolgear with a cold glare. He had never been a fan of torture. But there's a limit to everything and that also includes his patience. And due to Basara being an existence that is intrinsically to the Void, he is a sort of an emissary of justice. That's why he couldn't b.a.r.e to withstand evil deeds. Basraa still remembered that dungeon and the victim's inside those cells. When their injured bodies appear in his mind, his soul starts trembling with rage as an icy feeling keeps spreading in his mind infinitely.

Besides, Basara had conducted various types of tortures on several S Ranked villains. If it were left up to him, Basara would torture Zolgear in a way that would make the soul tremble. But he'll let Lars handle it. In this record aside from the three Realms, there exists Heaven and Hell. Zolgear would definitely go to Hell and since Basara had read the Bible and several other religious texts, he knew the cruel and merciless punishments that a person would receive in Hell. But unfortunately for Zolgear, he wouldn't be going to Hell. Basara would do something drastic to him that would be entered ugh to avenge the wrathful souls of all the people that were victims to Zolgear's whims. After Lars had tortured Zolgear according to his satisfaction, Basara decided end this once and for all.

He produced fed a small fireball in his hand. Though if looks weak, Basara had heated it to such an extent that it's temperature was over 10,000° F. He had connected the fireball with a barrier to prevent it's heard from escaping, otherwise everything within a kilometer radius of Basara would be instantly turned to ash. The fireball had a dark blue color with strands of white. Basara fired the fireball straight at Zolgear's abdomen and immediately covered himself and Lars's body with a barrier. Instead of exploding, the fireball expanded and engulfed Zolgear within it.

The heat of the fire began belting Zolgear's skin as he experienced hellish pain. Basraa had prevented oxygen from coming in contact with the fireball since that would cause combustion and Zolgear would be turned into ash instead did melting. The fire slowly melted Zolgear until his body was nothing more than liquid. What is death? When a person's soul leaves their body, that is called death. If the body is like a machine and the brain is it's control unit, then the soul is the electricity due to which the body works. The moment Zolgear's soul was about to leave his body, Basara used Banishing Shift to destroy both Zolgear and his soul. Basara had transfered Zolgear to the zero dimension. In simple terms, he had erased Zolgear from existence and turned shin into absolute nothingness.

Afterwards Basara removed the barriers surrounding him and Lars. Just as he thought everything within a kilometer radius had been turned into ash.

"What did you just so?!" Lars asked surprised. It's not surprising considering the fact that he didn't know anything about Banishing Shift.

"That's a power of mine known as Banishing Shift. It's my strongest power and completely destroy anything in it's path."

"As of you already weren't strong enough! You even have a cheat power like that! Sigh....anyway now that Zolgear has been dealt with, what do you intend to do Basara?"

"Tomorrow morning I'll be leaving for the Hero Village along with Yuki, Shiho and Chika. The three of them will return after a day and it would probably take me a week at most to return. What're you going to do now?"

"I'll be going to the Royal Castle to report to Leohart about Zolgear's death."

"I want you to reply to Leohart that I was the one to kill Zolgear because Zolgear had kidnapped Mio and tried to enslave her."

"Why would you want Leohart to know that? Wouldn't it better to hide the truth?"

"Don't worry, this is all a part of my plan."

"Okay then, goodbye."

"Alright, see you later." Then Basara teleported away to his apartment and Lars also went to the Royal Castle to report Zolgear's death to Leohart. Basara was ready initiating his plans regarding the Demon Realm.
