Second Chance: Overlord

After such a long day Xion reached his dorm and threw himself back. He was glad everything was so much fun today. Xion really wanted to have these type of challenges that would never happen back on Earth.

'Master, who are you…?' the [Thundering Moon Lion] asked as it's soft voice echoed on Xion's head.

It had heard about many Grandmasters that could fight head-on against Celestial and Mystical beasts. But, this Master of his seemed too young to be able to do such incredible feats. Experience was one of the most required things needed to be able to fight against those types of beasts.

'I guess you can say I'm not who everyone here thinks I am. This body wasn't mine, but now, I am the owner of this body and it's life…' Xion told the [Thundering Moon Lion].

It was confused. He had never heard about humans invading other humans bodies. It's a new concept for him, he knew about Nirvana and how the phoenix could be reborn. But not humans.…

"Also, I came up with a name for you, I'll call you Mars…." Xion said as he smiled lively which was a strange occurrence. Even 'Mars' felt weirded out and his a Divine Beast that can speak telepathically with it's Master….

'Ok, Master…' Mars told Xion as he laid on his belly on the floor and closed his eyes.

Xion was also tired he really wished he could sleep. But things were getting so exciting that he couldn't, he simply couldn't think about falling asleep.

Tomorrow he had training with Master Kon. Would he be impressed when he noticed that Xion's realm increased so much in so little time?

His cultivation states have evolved, to think that something called Body of Steel would evolve to Body Of Sky. What exactly was this? It was too much of a change in concept.

Xion could only think that since it surpassed the previous body cultivation it evolved into something new. How different was it? It was very interesting to think about.

He had Demon Beast Cores which he doesn't remember gaining before. When he fought Demon Beasts for the Monster Restaurant's owner Chrome, all Xion got was meat, cultivation manuals and blood essence.

This time Xion got Blood Essence and Demon Beast Cores. This is also something very unexpected. Was it because the system had also leveled up in some way?

After all that thinking Xion fell asleep and woke up in the morning. He quickly got ready and went directly to the [Moonlight Battlegrounds] where Master Kon was waiting for him.

"Good morning, Master!" Xion said bowing, he had always been respectful to the people who trained him. His Master back on Earth was also a genius with outstanding ability to teach and fight.

"Ha ha ha, no need to be so polite Xion. How about we just get started…" Master Kon said raising an eyebrow when he noticed the changes on Xion's body and Aura.

The boy has grown overnight. This was unexpected, Kon didn't know what to think. If the boy can truly grow stronger from the incident that occurred yesterday than Master Kon will have to change the training up.

'To grow by defeating others, such a terrifying thing…" Master Kon thought, of course if Kon was wrong and it was all due to extraordinary potential than he would at least see it for himself.

"Alright, I'll follow.…" Xion said as he noticed his Master understood his changes.

Xion was looking forward to how Master Kon would perceive his growth. At least, Xion hoped that the old man would give him more monsters to kill.

Master Kon began walking outside the [Moonlight Battlegrounds] and took Xion to the outside of the sect. But instead of going to the forest Xion has gone before, Kon took him to another one that seemed a lot more onimous.

"What is this place..?" Xion asked after feeling such an increase in beasts thanks to his now evolved [Sky Sensory].

"This is the [Demonic Jungle] where the strongest beasts reside..." Master Kon said waiting for Xion to at least be a bit scared.

But, all he got was shock. Xion seemed excited somehow, why was this brat acting like he was about to go stick the log in? No way…

"I read about the [Demonic Jungle] they say that deep inside there is a protector who takes care of this place, a [Celestial Beast]…" Xion said excitedly...

"Well, well, I see your not just talented at cultivating but are also smart, good, good… yes there used to be a protector but it has been long slain…" Master Kon praised and explained with a solemn tone for some reason.

Xion doesn't know what Master Kon was speaking about. But he could feel a [Celestial Beast] inside the [Demonic Jungle]. So how come Master Kon says it's been put down?

"Shall we…?" Master Kon said as he walked ahead.

Inside the [Demonic Jungle] Xion met with countless beasts but none of them gave enough experience to increase in Realm since they were all just from the [Gold-King Realm] or lower.

The advantage Xion saw was to increase his skills level. There were countless beasts to try and practice every single one of the skills.

Finally, Xion raised one more level on the [Legendary Realm]. He was now closer to reaching the peak of it and breakthrough to the [Chaotic Realm] which was already a level that only two people have reached in the [Wave of Life] Sect.

*Roaaaar*

A roar that sounded like it came from a powerful Demon Beast resounded all around the [Demonic Jungle]. Xion sped towards the sound of the noise while Master Kon followed in the shadows.

'That was a powerful roar, it must've come from a [King Class] [Celestial Beast]…' Master Kon thought as he followed his student to see what he would do.

On the way Xion encountered various Demon Beasts that seemed to be very powerful as he rose two levels after beating at least ten of them.
