Second Chance: Overlord

Xion was officially pissed, whatever threw him around again had done it for the last time. Xion quickly got up and cleaned the blood from his mouth. He was beyond angry now, he can't let anybody walk all over him. Xion needed to be the strongest no matter what he had to….

"Alright let's play..."

Xion erased his [Dark Barrier] since it seems of no use against this enemy. As he planned his next step Xion came to the conclusion that the enemy was either a ghost or some kind of spiritual being. That would explain the whole phasing through things. If that wasn't the case then maybe it was some kind of special ability, if that was the case than whoever kept getting in his way will now feel his frustration.

"Come one asshole! Bring it on!" Xion exclaimed as he speeds towards the white stone and touching it before the black shadowed figure could even react.

*Skiing*

A white glow shined and lit the room. The black shadowed figure was now standing before Xion. Xion glared at it as the black shadowed figure floated like a ghost and it's red eyes seemed to have some kind of powerful effect since Xion could feel that stabbing feeling again.

Seeing as how the black shadowed figure just stood there and didn't go near Xion after he touched the stone Xion concluded that the black shadow was afraid of the white stone. Maybe, just maybe the only way to defeat the black shadowed figure is to use the white stone. Xion grew curious about what the stone was but he had no time to study it at the moment, he could analyze it but right now all he could think about was killing the black shadowed figure.

Xion broke a piece of the white stone which was harder than it seemed and held it inside his fist. He followed by punching the white stone and now the outside of his fist was covered in the same residue as the white stone. With this Xion could probably fight the thing.

"System [Analyze] the shadow…" Xion ordered before attacking.

There was something about the black shadowed figure that bothered Xion. So he [Analyzed] it…

It was dead for sure, Xion was sure after reading the things [Body State]. All of its information and power are top tier. But, Xion had a feeling that with the white stone he could take the black shadowed figure down.

Without wasting anymore time Xion rushed towards the black shadowed figure and threw a punch using the fist with the white stone residue and piece inside it. The black shadowed figure seemed paralyzed after it noticed what Xion had inside his hand, it seemed to figure out that it was finally his time to go.

*Puff*

Once Xion's fist hit the black shadowed figure it disappeared into a puff of smoke. In the floor a black diamond shaped crystal shined mysteriously. Xion grabbed it and [Analyzed] it.

[Name: Dark Soul Crystal

Description: Gained from defeating vengeful spirits or powerful demonic ghosts. It has the remnants of the spirit or ghost that was created. It can be used to craft a weapon with a soul, jewelery, or some even use it to become [Demonic Cultivators].

Recommendation: Host should use the [Dark Soul Crystal] to create a new weapon together with the [Celestial Light Stone] to create something that can face spirits and other special types of enemies.]

Seeing the [Epic System] give him a recommendation Xion couldn't help but follow it. If he ever got into a similar type of fight in the future and there was none of the white stone which the [Epic SYSTEM] showed as [Celestial Light Stone] then Xion would surely be very, VERY screwed.

Xion packed every ounce of the [Celestial Light Stone] and the treasures he found inside his [Inventory] now all he had to do was come back after he could understand the [Ancient Runic Texts]. He'll make sure to study it after he got back to the Sect.

Another good thing was that he had finally broken through the [Legendary Realm] and reached the 3rd level of the [Chaotic Realm]for his [Cultivation State]. His [Body State] had finally reached the 5th level of the [Chaotic Realm] thanks to all the injuries the black shadowed figure gave him. Damned ghost got what he deserved and when Xion got back he will make sure to choose a weapon for it's soul to be trapped in.

Walking out of the Dark Cave Xion noticed that Master Kon wasn't there. A [Black Messenger Raven] landed on Xion's shoulder startling him. Once Xion took a good look he saw the letter that was tied cutely around its neck. The letter read…

'My dear disciple,

Something urgent has come up and I have to get back to the [Wave of Life Sect]. Please make sure to write a report on your findings and the happening inside the dark cave. You can have the weekend to yourself there will be no training for the next three days. I truly hope you can have a relaxing weekend and have lots of fun with your family. Make sure to be back inside the Sect before night falls.

From, Kon…'

Xion stored the letter in his [Inventory] and rejoiced. Finally Xion can be free from training and do his own thing. Now that he has reached the [Chaotic Realm] there are zero challengers for him in the Sect. So before night falls Xion will go around hunting monsters and see what other good things he can find and learn. Xion even fought against a ghost, if that's a thing in [Rain] then Xion couldn't help but get more excited about what else waited for him.

*Back in the Wave of Life Sect*

Walking through the Grandmaster's Sect hall, Selena the Master of the [Moon Branch] looked rather worried about something. Once she entered the [Council Chambers] she saw that every Master, Elder, Grandmaster and even people from the smaller sects outside the walls were seated on the round table today.

"Good, now that everyone is here it is time to begin this [War Meeting], please note that this is not a drill but the real thing!" The oldest and most powerful of all Masters said as he sat in the center of the table in what seemed to be a throne.

Everyone was respectful towards him and wary of their words. This man is the Grandmaster of the entire [Wave of Life Sect], one of the founders and Xion's great-grandfather. Everyone admired him for all the things he has done so everytime he spoke people kept quiet, he ordered Master Kon, to explain the current situation.

"As you all know, we have been under constant conflict with our closest neighbors sect [Tang Sect]. They have been going through a lot of trouble, starvation, thirst and even overpopulation due to the constant attacks from the [Demonic Beasts], they are the ones that get the hordes first. They decided to ask for help and came to us, we gladly accepted but it wasn't enough, they wanted food and other stuff at an unreasonable rate. We can't just give half of our food to them, we tried to negotiate but they grew angry and retaliated killing the help we sent them. Yesterday their Grandmaster sent me a letter saying that it was time we learned our lesson and that his whole sect would reach our front gates in a week…" Master Kon explained, the other Masters seemed unworried.

"I'll just say one thing, if they cannot appreciate what we can give, they should win their own. If this is their way of doing it, then let them come…." Quinn Dan said grinning. Everyone agreed and had d.e.s.i.r.e to fight.

"Let us see if we can resolve this peacefully, maybe a slaughter can be avoided…" Grandmaster Quinn Kan said as his purple eyes turned solemn.

"War isn't a game, little Dan, we should avoid it at all costs…" Master Kon said as he also hated war, just like Grandmaster Quinn Kan.

They had seen their share, they only wished for peace.…
