She was the wife with a missing husband and a smart teenage son to support. Xiao Xiao Lei’s life had been difficult since young. After abandoning her status as the heir of the once-famous Fan Entertainment to save her life, she once again found herself being hunted down by the very same people who were supposed to protect her.

Driven into a corner, she agreed to be a surrogate mother in exchange for sanctuary for her and her son.

Han Ye still blamed himself for the accident that resulted in his wife' death. In order to forget about his pain, he spent most of his time working and taking care of others.

Just as he was about to move on, Xiao Xiao Lei entered back into his life. Assigned to take care of her, Han Ye managed to spend more time with this woman and started to develop feelings for her.

However, with her husband still missing and him still holding feelings for his late wife, would they be able to get together easily?
