The Twin Swords

Inside the dark forest besides the capital, a total of 8 bodies scattered can be seen on the road. Those guys are dressed in black while holding different types of weapons from daggers to long swords. And each of them has a black sword mark in their bodies. Just a few meters from the place where bodies can be seen, an old man with a majestically-clear blue eyes can be seen with 3 man clad in black outfit.

"Who- who are you?" the man in black in the middle with an aura of early stages of immortal ascension said in horror to the old man who held a child in his right arm.

"Just a retired old man who is granting a wish from the son of an old friend of mine" he said while smiling to the 3 of them.

The 3 of them can sense a dangerous aura emitted behind the smile of the old man. The old man then walk towards them seemingly like he didn't care if the people in front of him has a malicious intentions to him. He then wave his hands and the 2 person besides the man in black fell down without a sound. "You-you don't come closer!" the man in the middle said while stuttering to the old man who is still calmly walking towards him. The man was about to use all of his strength just to leave this place when he heard the old man's voice behind his ears "Since you are here, you should stay here and accompany your brothers who you are with". Then his eyes blacked out before he can talk back to the old man to spare him.

"U-waaaah, u-waaah " the child cried while being held by the old man in his arm. "shhh , shhh, child seems like your parents already left." he said while trying to calm the child he is currently holding to. He then looked behind him where they came from and sighed quietly before silently saying "I am going to fulfill my promise to you by helping this child that you put all of your hopes to". He then returned back to his journey while silently walking in the dark forest.

Inside the throne room a person clad in black where a black sword is clearly seen besides him is sitting at the throne with 9 persons clad in different armors below. The person clad in black is the new emperor of the Tiang Kingdom and the 9 persons are the 9 Generals who now are on the side of him.

"My-my Lord, all of the experts that we've sent are all dead." the same man who reported earlier said in panic to the man in black while kneeling in front of the throne. The new emperor who is seriously looking at a distance while thumping his fingers on the chair stopped thumping and closed his eyes before waving his arm and the person who reported is disintegrated to dust.

"Emperor Tiang , it seems like the old man that they are currently chasing is a powerful one" the general in fiery red armor said to the new emperor. " do you want me to personally head there to bring the old man and the child to you ?" he added while looking with guarantee to him.

"Enough." the emperor said to him "If my guesses are correct about who is that old man then you going there is like sending you to hell." he added while looking seriously at a distance clearly thinking seriously. "What?!" the general said shockingly to the emperor. "Just because you got a boost from the powers of my father, don't think that you can fight against everyone in the same realm. " he said seriously to the generals. "Your majesty, what do you mean by that? You seem to know the old man who held the child of the former emperor." a man clad in white armor said to the emperor.

The new emperor looked again at the distant place before calmly telling them "I only have a vague guess of who he is... when I was a child, my father take me and my brother to meet someone. I remember meeting an old man who my father talks very respectfully aside from my mother. The old man looks very normal but he has a very majestic and clear blue eyes, the moment that one get close to him, one can feel a friendly and powerful aura that he emits." he looked at the 9 of them whose eyes are all on him before continuing "I asked my father who he is , but my father only told me , " once you've become the emperor you'll know who he is", I remember that word he said to me every time I asked who that old man is.".

"This- if that old man is respected even by the great emperor then that person would surely be not ordinary" a general clad in blue armor said seriously. The emperor just looked back again at the distant place before saying "Continue the ascension of the throne tomorrow make every kingdom knows about the new emperor of the Tiang Kingdom" , he then stands up and walk down the throne before adding " I need to look for something, don't look for me unless it's something important" then he left the room without looking at the 9 of them.
