"In this lesson I'm going to give you an overall good understanding of the immortal world. In this lesson I will discuss cultivation realms, types of equipment and answer most of your questions."

, Explained Mr Kano ,"Are there any questions before we start?"

Mr Kano looked around the room and saw everybody keeping a straight face and staring at him.

"Great! We shall begin!" Said Mr Kano, "In the immortal realm there are 6 cultivation realms we know of in the mortal realm. Qi Condensation, Foundation Establishment, Core Formation, Meridian Washing, Nascent Soul and Aura Attainment. Only nine of you in this room have barely reached Qi Condensation level 1. In Qi Condensation there are 12 levels. Each time you cultivate to a higher level you gain a greater supply of qi within your body. Qi is the main source of energy you use for spells and techniques."

Mr Kano looked up at everyone who all had a face of curiosity.

"The next stage Foundation Establishment is most likely the most important realm in all of the immortal world. The more solid your foundation is, the easier it is to reach a higher realm.

You can actually try to break through from early foundation establishment all the way to core formation but you wouldn't be able to go up to a higher realm and you fate would be sealed. Your progress from then on would be that of a snail's. Unless you abolish your core formation cultivation and go back down to foundation establishment. The only way to have a strong foundation is to cultivate all the way to the peak of foundation establishment. There are actually different grades of foundations.

It goes from lowest to highest level.

"If you have a spiritual foundation then you can progress to any level you like.

Meanwhile, if you ad a wooden foundation then you would only be able to get to meridian washing stage. I'd recommend for everybody to get at least an iron foundation when cultivating. Most cultivators make it to foundation establishment but core formation is the real hindrance. Only 1/50 cultivators reach core formation. The reason is because you need an insane amount of treasures and herbs and years of preparations. Most of you won't even get enough herbs or or supplementary pills to help you break through. You'd have to be a top level genius to receive treatment to get enough resources from a sect to break through to core formation!"

"The fourth level of cultivation is meridian washing! This is the stage that I'm currently at! There 12 stages in meridian washing and the reason for meridian washing is to widen your meridians and to allow your qi to circulate faster within your body. You need multiple types of rare liquids to wash or clean your meridians. That in turn will help refine your body to a higher level", Explained Mr Kano while walking around the auditorium. "The next level is nascent soul. at this stage you will have the power to establish your own sect and have the time to create your own techniques. At nascent soul your lifespan will increase all the way to 1000 years! At this stage you will gain a soul which greatly enhance your power overall. The power gap between stages in nascent soul is mind boggling. If a early nascent soul were to encounter a mid nascent soul then the early nascent soul would be easily beaten. That's not to say that early nascent souls are weak. It' just that the strength of gap between the two is almost impossible to bridge."

"The last stage you can achieve in the mortal realm is aura attainment. If about 5 nascent souls were to gang up on an aura attainment cultivator then the aura attainment cultivator would win without even trying. The thing is that at aura attainment you gain a special aura that goes 1km around you. When you are at the peak your aura will circ.u.mference anything that is within 500km of you. Anybody that breakthroughs to aura attainment always transcends realms. Aura attainment cultivators always disappear after 100 years or so in the mortal realm. That's because they've transcended realms." Explained Mr Kano. "Nevertheless an aura attainment cultivator is always someone to be respected."

"Now, the main reason I actually wanted to talk to you was because we all need to pick out a technique to cultivate. Come on, follow me", Informed Mr Kano as he disappeared out of the spot he was in his place appeared a blue glowing line floating in midair leading out the door and out the hall. Everybody thought that this guy was such a showoff. Everyone decided to follow the line and found themselves in front of a moss infested stone wall built into the cliff wall with many waterfalls flowing down the cliff wall near it. Above the door was a wooden sign board with 3 words.

"1.Jiang Hu Hall"

When they reached the hall the blue line disappeared. The blue line disappeared and a few people opened the door together.

The door didn't seemed to be in the best of conditions judging from the massive noise it made.

The door opened up as they only saw a couple rows of bookshelves lined up. The room was dusty and smelled like like sweat and blood in here. It seemed like nobody has been here for years. But why?

A few blue lanterns that were adjacent to the bookshelves lit up and covered every nook and cranny of the library. They could see much clearer in the library and saw Mr Kano sitting at a table reading a book while sipping his teacup that seemed to never run out of tea.

With a closer look the book he was reading was very complicated and nobody could understand what he was reading from a mere glance.

Mr Kano then looked up and closed his book and put down his teacup.

Clearing up his throat and closing his eyes

"Each one of you is to choose 2 techniques from here. One for cultivating and One to increase your fighting strength. I'd recommend get a elemental manipulating technique and getting a cultivation technique that matches the attribute of that elemental technique. Most cultivation techniques in here can only be cultivated up to qi condensation level 12 so It doesn't really make a difference."

Everyone was still standing on the spot without moving staring in shock!

"Go on, do you not want a technique?" , Threatened Mr Kano.

Everyone immediately scattered and went their own ways.

Yip An went to the top right hand corner of the library where nobody went.

The library held many techniques such a the Nine Cauldrons Fire Elemental Technique, True Harmony Earth Technique and The Sword Shadow Illusion Technique.

But Yip An had his eyes stuck on one technique that was in the fourth shelf of a collapsed bookshelf. It wasn't really that attractive. Yip An then pulled out the technique from the shelf and took a closer look.

Yip An eyes were stuck on this manual in his hands.

"True Solar Fire Law Manual"

This manual was incomparable to the rest of the manuals he read before.

There was no way that this was on the level of the other techniques in the library.

Yip An had truly thought that this technique was a hidden gem.

The description of the technique told that by combining multiple high level fires and refining them in a certain way that allowed you to actually refine your flame!

The best part was that it told ways of manipulating the fire into real life animals and objects!

Too strong!

Was this sect really a low level sect?

Meanwhile Yip An was examining the technique Mr Kano was chuckling with a very scary expression.
