Advanced Summoning. This Skill, also known as Extra Summon, allowed Summoners to call Advanced summoned beasts, and they could learn this Skill once they reached level 40 and already learned Intermediate Summoning.

However, the calling of Advanced summoned beasts is different from that of lower-level summons. First of all, calling Advanced summoned beasts has an additional cost. It is necessary to sacrifice at least 2 summoned beasts controlled by you or your allies as a prerequisite. The number of summons to be sacrificed required varies depending on the power of the Advanced summoned beast.

However, due to the nerf, it became virtually impossible for one player to satisfy this condition alone, so as a remedy, it became possible to summon by paying a large amount of MP instead of sacrificing friendly summons.

However, since the required MP greatly exceeds the amount that an individual can use, it is necessary to devise ways around it such as using items that take over MP consumption for the player, as Kon did.

In other words, calling Advanced summoned beasts is extremely troublesome. This is why Kon prefers to use Intermediate and Beginner summons.

However, just because the calling takes time and effort, it doesn’t mean that Advanced summoned beasts are weak.

“Kuh… this is… let go… let go of me!” Guiltia cried.

The hydra-like plants materialize and tie up Guiltia’s body. This dragon-like monster made of intertwined plants required a cost of 4 summon sacrifices, and it is still a fairly expensive monster. And you can’t easily break free of this Advanced monster’s restraining.

“Now, Zecca-chan! Make a decision, y’all!” Kon said.

“Understood, Kon-san! Grand Claw……”

Zecca prepares to launch a big move. However:

“Don’t mock me! Rearm… Sword Armor!”

Guiltia uses her equipment-changing Skill to change her armor from the golden set to a rugged, bladed set instead.

Sword Armor. This armor set also has an attack stat, and although it is not Unique Equipment, it is a hyper-aggressive piece of equipment.

“Slash!”

Then, when Guilita activates her Saber Skill with the swords of her armor, she cuts through the vines tying her up, and escapes the Hydra Plants’ restraining.

“She could get away like that?! What in the hell…” Kon said. “Our trump card got trumped so easy-like!”

“Ha, you insult me!” Guiltia snorted as she landed on the ground.

Then, she activates Rearm once more. Her armor set turned back to the gold one, and in her right hand, a new sword.

“That thing is…” Johann said.

In the audience stands, Johann was the first to identify the sword. It was twice as long as its owner, the blade was white with gold letters carved here and there on the flat.

Its name is the Omega Sword. It is a weapon with the motif of Omega Prime, famous as the strongest character in Virtual Monsters, and is a Unique Equipment that could be obtained at the Virtual Monsters Collaboration event.

“Wait,” Kon said. “What in the what is that? I’m pretty sure that’s what Roland-san bragged he got on Twitter, y’all! How does she have it?!”

“That is that girl’s… that is Guilita’s power,” Zecca said.

Guiltia’s Unique Skill is Collector. It’s a Skill that allows you to receive Unique Equipment that is normally non-transferable. Guiltia herself has never found or obtained a single piece of Unique Equipment. However, the Unique Equipment collected by her brother Roland was given to her by the power of Collector. On a related note, each item can only be transferred once using Collector, so it is impossible to exchange or trade Unique Equipment through Guiltia.

“Roland-san is the original owner of all of the Unique Equipment she has used up until now,” Zecca said. “However, he has no interest in using Unique Equipment himself. After showing them off, he’ll give them to his little sister.”

“Gotta be a joke…” Kon said “No, I can’t say that for sure, ya’ll. But that sword should be…”

“Right,” Guiltia said. “This Omega Sword has an overwhelming damage bonus against summoned beasts. I’ll show you that now.”

Guiltia raises the Omega Sword skyward. It seems to activate some Skill built into the sword.

“Don’t let ‘er, Hydra Plants…!” Kon yelled.

At Kon’s orders, the Hydra Plants extend countless vines and attack Guiltia. However:

“Can’t be…” Kon whispered.

Hydra Plants’ tentacles disappear as if they were repelled by an invisible barrier.

“Hah, this sword is the strongest Anti-Summoner equipment,” Guilita said. “As long as I have this sword, I can’t get hit by any attacks or -kills from summoned beasts! You vixen, your trump card is powerless.”

""

“No… my Hydra Plants…” Kon said.

“That’s not all… I activated the Skill contained in this sword—All Delete. It unconditionally destroys all summoned beasts within range!” Guilita yelled.

Black waves shot out from the Omega Sword as it was raised. And when that wave touches the Hydra Plants, it annihilates them in an instant.

“Kuh…” Kon sobbed, “a nerfed Summoner can’t win against the strongest Saber, y’all…”

“Kon-san…” Zecca said.

As Kon hung her head in despair, Guiltia smiled.

“Well, I’ll praise you for doing a good job against me,” Guiltia said. “You must have been strong before you were nerfed, but… well, now that I have this sword… I think I would have won even if you weren’t nerfed.”

Guilta laughs as she shows off the Omega Sword to Kon. “Come on, send out another summoned beast. Well, I don’t think you can do anything without your strongest summoned beast.”

“Kuh… kukuku…” Kon snickers. “Just kiddin’, y’all.”

“Huh? What’s with you…?” Guiltia asked.

“Ah, yeah, just now I said the Hydra Plants were our trump card and all, but… that was a lie,” Kon said.

“Huh… a lie?” Guiltia said.

“Y’all don’t know too much about Summoner,” Kon said. “That was small fry with a high cost. I’m sorry that y’all were deceived by its looks.”

“Ku… then summon your real trump card,” Guiltia said. “No matter what kind of monsters appear, I’ll annihilate them with this sword!”

“If that’s so, I’ll y’all’s word for it… summoned beast call――Backup Cheer!” Kon cried.

An angel clad in a cheerleader uniform appears from the geometric magic circle.

“That’s your strongest…? That’s fine. Die—All Delete,” Guiltia said.

Guilita thrusts the Omega Sword skyward sky and tries to activate the summoned beast annihilating Skill. However:

No matter how much time passed, the black wave did not come out again.

“What the… the charge time should be over… what’s going on!? Is this a bug?!” Guiltia yelled.

“Can y’all do nothin’? Then Backup Cheer, Power Yell on Zecca-chan!” Kon said.

“Thank you, Kon-san,” Zecca said.

“Wait…why…why are my Skills… okay, no more of that!” Guiltia yelled. “Rearm… huh!? It’s not working?!”

“TeeeeEEEIIIII!” Zecca yelled.

As Guiltia was confused by her Skills not activating, Zecca receives the Strength-boosting effect of Power Yell and slashes at Guiltia. Guiltia fights back, but in her hand is a 5-meter-long sword. She is overwhelmingly at a disadvantage against a speedy Saber like Zecca.

“My, my Guiltia-han?” Kon asked. “What’s wrong with your special transformation, y’all? Ya’ll can’t beat Zecca-chan with a clothesline like that, ya know?”

“Shut up! What did you do!?” Guiltia yelled.

“Huuh, is it our fault?” Kon snapped, agitated. “Not fair, y’all?”

Guiltia gets angry and Kon does, as well.

Of course, Guiltia’s Abnormal Status was Kon’s fault.

Triple Disaster. A Unique Skill that Kon possesses. It is a terrifying Skill for opponents, as it uses the summoned beast as a vector to inflict an invisible Abnormal Status on the player that kills it.

Kon succeeded in injecting Dark Virus into Guiltia through the Hydra Plants. Due to the effects of the Dark Virus, Guiltia’s three most recently used Skills are completely sealed for this duel. In other words, All Delete, Rearm, and Slash can no longer be used in this battle. Now that Rearm is sealed, Guiltia must use her menu to change her equipment. But Zecca doesn’t give her that kind of time. She corners Guiltia with her speedy dual-sword style.

“My Hydra Plants gettin’ killed was all part of the plan,” Kon said. “Everything is to create this situation… now, how will it all turn out?”

Kon looks at Roland. His sister is on the defensive, but he still shows no signs of moving.

“Kuh… this is… I’m…” Guiltia huffs.

She fights back with an extremely long weapon. However, she couldn’t handle Zecca’s speed, and even with the defensive power of her golden armor, her HP was reaching its limit.

And then:

“……Grand Cross!!”

“Uaaaaaaaaa!”

Zecca’s strongest attack hits. However, it does not finish Guiltia off. She thought she had defeated her, but Guiltia activated Guts there. She endures with 1 HP. She’s Invincible for 10 seconds from then. But Zecca has no intention of waiting for that. She activates the Skill Invincible Penetration and unleashes a final blow, but…

“Wha…!?”

She thought she would kill Guiltia. However, Roland blocked Zecca’s attack with his sword.

“It’s too fast for you to have cut… no, that’s not it…” Zecca said.

Guiltia had moved to where Roland was before and was already using an HP recovery potion.

“You switched places…” Zecca said.

“Exactly. Position Change is not exclusive to your team,” Roland said. “HaaaAAAAHHH…!”

Roland pushed back Zecca’s sword as he blocked it, and at the same time crouched and swept at her feet. Zecca loses her balance.

“Kuh……”

""

“Slash—Power Slash…!!”

Zecca’s HP drops to 0, and after getting hit by countless attack Skills and being unable to defend herself, she’s teleported next to Johann in the spectator stands.

“Ku… Zecca-chan got killed…” Kon said. “But, well, a rare match-up with Roland-han… let’s have some fun, y’all,” she said, smiling fearlessly.

However, Guiltia finished recovering and switched equipment from her menu then joined Roland.

“Fufufu. I’m going to make you explain exactly what you just did to me,” Guiltia said.

“Well then,” Roland said, “shall we go together this time?”

“Nope… it’s all over, y’all…” Kon said.

It’s impossible. At that realization, Kon raised her hands and surrendered.
