Where You Are

The next day I woke up full of energy. It was early so I took the chance to take a shower and get ready for work. Today I put on a cream-colored dress with short sleeves, most of my wardrobe were dresses anyways. The dress had hints of flower petals, the colors ranging from pink, blue and white there was also hints of green to represent vines. Overall it was beautiful.

When I was finally ready, I yelled Min-Joon's name, wondering where he was. He couldn't have left me, could he? I looked outside the window, but his car was still there. Is he still sleeping?

I knock on his door and call his name but there's no answer. I open it to see him shirtless, lying on the floor. I obviously panic and run towards him, yelling his name. He m.o.a.ns so he's alive at least.

I touch his forehead and its on fire. How is he sick? He was fine last night.

Then it hits me. This is the cliché part of the drama where the male lead gets sick and the female lead takes care of him. Sometimes it happens vice versa but this is good. I just have to call Yu-Na, come up with an excuse that I have work or Min-Joon wants me to do something for him and she should care for him today.

I look inside Min-Joon's phone and find Yu-Na's number. I put her number in my contacts and call her.

"Yu-Na, I got my phone!" I said. I could tell Yu-Na was smiling because she congratulated me with a squeal "Are you doing anything important right now?" I ask her.

"Well…" she was going to say she was but before she could answer I had to cut in.

"Min-Joon is really sick but he doesn't want to go to a hospital, and I don't know what to do. Could you come over and help?" I ask her with a desperate tone on my voice. I wanted to make it sound serious, so she didn't have time to think.

"I'm be on my way" she says and hangs up. She didn't even ask me directions to where he lives but she's a reporter so she must know.

I try to get Min-Joon up on his feet but I'm a small girl and he's a tall and strong man. I can only lift a bit of his c.h.e.s.t, but that's it.

"Min-Joon, I need you to help me help you" I whisper to him "I can't carry you" He slowly gets up and I lead him back to his bed. Once in his bed he opens his eyes, if just a bit and we lock eyes. He grabs my hand and I wrap my other hand around his. A way of telling him that he'll be alright.

"Hannah?" he asks.

"Wow, you must be really sick if you can hardly recognize your own roommate" I say with a chuckle. Min-Joon scoffs showing me a grin but then he starts coughing. It's a really ugly cough which tells me that he's going to have a really bad cold. The title of this episode has to be sick day.

This is great!

Well, bad for him but great for Yu-Na and his relationship development.

"You are such a strange person Hannah" Min-Joon said to me. It was obvious he was having a hard time talking.

"Shhh, don't talk. You're too sick" I tell him.

"I've only known you for 2 days and I'm already going crazy" he said. I looked at him confused. Does he mean I'm difficult to deal with? "You've managed to get more out of me in one night than anyone has in their whole life"

I don't know whether he's complimenting me or scolding me. He does have a smile on his face but he's also sick so I can't say much. I heard the doorbell ring, so I went downstairs. I opened the door and saw someone I wasn't expecting to see in a while.

"Se-Jin?!" I asked shocked. He seemed as surprised as me when he saw me. Of course, if I saw a girl in my single cousin's house I'd be surprised as well. A wicked smile came across his face. I knew what he was thinking…I'm the secret lover.

"That's me, and who might you be?" he asked me.

"I'm Hannah. The Vice President's new secretary" I said. Se-Jin just smiled at me. I have to say something before he jumps to conclusions, which I'm sure he already is "I can tell by your expression that your thinking something inappropriate, but we are not in that type of relationship"

"Is that right?" he asked me.

"I just came over to get him for work, but he wasn't feeling well so I let him stay in bed and I am now about to leave" I say with a poker face.

"Then, where's your car?" he asked. I gulped. He's good at picking stuff up.

"I…um…I came by taxi" I said. Dammit! I waited too long to answer. You answer stuff like that quickly, you don't hesitate. I see how he's still smiling at me.

"The Vice President isn't feeling well today, if you want to leave a message, I can pass it over to him once he gets better."

"I thought you said you were leaving" Se-Jin said. I swear he's not being a jerk right now but just seeing him makes me want to punch him for all the stuff he's done to Min-Joon.

"Why are you here?" I ask him straightforwardly.

"So impolite, you do know I am your boss's boss, right?" he asked me. I roll my eyes. He pushes me to the side and comes into the house.

"Hey, you're not allowed to come in here!" I say as I run after him.

"Oh yeah? By who's authority?" he turns to face me with a smug look on his face.

"I just wanted to see what my dear cousin has been up to" he said "I heard he made a fun wager with grandmother. I just wanted to know how he was doing"

"So, you can sabotage it?" I ask him. Se-Jin seems to be taken off guard by that. He now knows that I know that he and Min-Joon don't have a great relationship.

"How much has Min-Joon told you about us?" he asked. I have to control what I do and don't say. If I say something to Se-Jin that Min-Joon hasn't told me and Se-Jin talks to him about it. I don't know how I'll be able to get out of that situation.

"Not much but I can tell you two don't get along in the slightest" I say.

"Yu-Na!" I squeal. I run to hug her. She hugs me back.

"I love your dress! You look so pretty!" Yu-Na tells me. I can't help but blush. My favorite character told me she likes how I look. Why wouldn't I blush.

"Come in, come in. Min-Joon is upstairs" I say. Yu-Na looks to the side and I remembered Se-Jin was already inside.

"You're the President of LV Entertainment" Yu-Na said surprised. Se-Jin walked towards her and shook her hand. Something he didn't do with me.

"Call me Se-Jin" he told her "And who might you be?"

"My name is Yu-Na" she was going to say more but I just knew if she said any more, she was going to make this a huge misunderstanding.

"She's here to watch over the Vice President while I go to work" I say to him. Se-Jin looks at both of us.

"I guess I'll come back later" he said as he made his way outside to his car. He turned around and said "I'll see you at work Hannah"

When I close the door, I groan in frustration. Yu-Na looked at me worried. I was worried too but also relieved and angry. I don't know how to explain it.

"Hannah, what did he mean by he'll see you at work?" Yu-Na asked me. It'll be hard to explain to her everything that's happened, so I give her a short version.

"As a thank you for Min-Joon taking me in I offered to work for him, so I'm his secretary while Secretary Chang is away" with that I made Min-Joon seem like a kind person who watches out for the less fortunate and I seem like a hardworking girl who would make a good friend.

"Anyways. Min-Joon is upstairs, you just have to take care of him and be with him and if need be, give him a bath"

"A bath?!" Yu-Na asked blushing. She also looked a bit panicked.

"If he needs it" I say trying to calm her down but maybe its better if she isn't calmed down. That way the scenes will be cuter and funnier. I walk outside but before I do, I take some of Min-Joon's money. I don't plan on going to work; knowing Se-Jin, he'll definitely bother me, also, I'm not really working there so I'll just explore today.

Hopefully I'll find places where they can have cute lovey-dovey moments.

I look back to the house "Good luck Yu-Na" I whisper.
