Where You Are

Once back at Min Joon's house, Hannah found Yu Na in the living room watching TV. Min Joon was nowhere to be seen.

"Hannah!" Yu Na said happily, turning off the TV. I was confused as to why she was there. She's supposed to be all kind and loving to Min Joon, not watching TV.

"Is Min Joon still sleeping?" I ask her. She nodded. She explained to me how at one point he got up and started to rant about how angry he was that I left but then he went back upstairs to his bedroom and passed out on the bed.

Both of us went upstairs to check on him "He said he was fine and told me to leave" Yu Na chuckled "Now look at him"

We closed the door and headed back downstairs "Now, that you're here, I'll take my leave" Yu Na bowed and headed to the door, but I stopped her. I handed her the yellow slip for the amus.e.m.e.nt park.

"I have two" I told her "Want to go? Its this Saturday. How about we meet there at 8am?" I smiled at her. Yu Na seemed reluctant but with the happy expression on my face she appeared to change her mind.

"I made food for when Min Joon wakes up" Yu Na told me. I nodded. We said our goodbyes and I headed to the kitchen. There were pots and pans on the stove. The food looked great, and there was even porridge. Yu Na is so caring.

Min Joon, please become a good man for her.

I decide to take a bowl of porridge up to Min Joon's room. He needs to eat.

When I go inside his room and reach his bedside, he starts stirring and saying "…Soo Hyun, please…Soo Hyun…"

He's definitely dreaming about the girl in the picture. Probably about the last time they saw each other. I put the tray on the night stand and sit on the bed next to him. I have to be gentle in waking him up.

"Min Joon" I say "time to wake up" he doesn't wake up, he's still stirring. So, I start to hum a song that's really popular back home, really catchy. I got so into it that I started to sing it. Then I just started to move my arms then I moved from side to side.

As I was finishing the song I looked over at Min Joon who was resting his head on his hand, staring right at me, with a grin on his face. I jumped in surprise. I completely forgot where I was and what I was trying to do.

"You're awake" I said with an awkward chuckle. Min Joon nodded.

"It's impossible for someone to stay sleeping with someone singing so loudly right next to them" he said. I got up from the bed and picked up the tray.

"I was bringing you food but, you didn't wake up, so I started to hum a song but, I guess I kind of got too into it" I say looking down. I feel so embarrassed. Min Joon though, starts to laugh. He sits up and takes the tray from my hands.

"Did you make this?" he asked with a frightened look on his face "Did you burn my kitchen?" he was panicking now. I roll my eyes.

"Okay, this running gag of yours has to stop" I say. He smiles "And Yu Na made it, right before she left"

Min Joon's smile disappears as he looks down at the food. He takes a spoonful and as he eats it, I notice the right side of his lips raise just a little. Is he probably liking her now?

I remember the ticket for the theme park and hand it to him "What's this for?" he asks me.

"For you. The new theme park, this Saturday, at 8am" I say.

"Where did you get this?" he asks me. I wonder if it's a good idea if I tell him it was Tae Woo. Min Joon quickly widens his eyes and an angry expression takes over his face. Did I do something wrong?

"You left me alone and took my money!" he yelled as he got up from the bed. I reach my hands out trying to calm him down but also backing away from him. Wow, first we're talking about food, and theme parks, now he's completely changed the subject.

I expected he'd yell at me about it but not right now.

"I didn't leave you alone. You had Yu Na" I take out the rest of the money I took from him as well as the change I got and show it to him "Here you go. I didn't use most of it. I just got some food and some soju"

Min Joon stops in his tracks "You drank soju alone?"

"No, I was with an old man…" before I get to say Tae Woo's name I see Min Joon's eye start to twitch, and an even more annoyed expression appears on his face.

"You drank alone with an old man?!"

I roll my eyes. This is getting me nowhere. I place my hands on his sides, which takes him by surprise, and I push him back towards his bed. He sits down without a word. I like this type of Min Joon, obedient.

I tell him that I ate food with the old man and an officer after the old man almost hits me with his car. Leaving out the fact that the officer I met was Tae Woo and that he gave me the park tickets, as well as leaving out the old man's true identity.

Min Joon widens his eyes and grabs my arms "Are you badly injured?" he asks worriedly. He looks at my arms and hands intensely as well as my legs. The side of my left leg and my hands are a bit scr.a.p.ed but nothing too bad.

When he sees the scratches, his expression darkens. His expression worried me, he seemed mad at me, which made me mad, it's not like I got hurt on purpose. He gets up, placing me on the bed. He goes to the bathroom and comes back with a first aid kit.

He gets down on one knee and starts to treat my leg and hands. A smile appears on my face. It's like I'm living an actual drama scene, where the male lead treats the female lead's wounds.

I try to hide my excitement and say "You're the one that should be taken care of, not me" I smile at him, but he shushes me.

"You should take better care of yourself" he tells me "You're the only you there is"

His words surprised me, and before I knew it I was taking deep breaths. I was holding my breath! I then felt my face get hot…why am I feeling like this. I notice how I've been quiet for too long, if it continues like this, the atmosphere will just become awkward. I have to say something!

"Yeah, yeah. You got it boss!" I say with a smile and tap him on the shoulder a few times. He looks at me with a serious expression, but he quickly grins at me and continues treating my wounds. When he's done, I get up from the bed.

I turn to leave but Min Joon grabs me by the wrist.

"Where are you going?" he asks "I'm the patient. The patient shouldn't be left alone" it kind of annoys me how he's ordering me to stay here yet he's not even looking at me.

"I'll stay if you promise to go to the theme park on Saturday" I say crossing my arms over my c.h.e.s.t. Min Joon looks at me then, closing his eyes, he sighs.

"You are incredible" he scoffs. I smile taking his words as a 'yes.'
