At the suburb area in East West Land, a glorious gold castle on the peak of mountainous terrain, far away from the bustling cities, inside one of the majestic rooms, the Queen was walking back and forth, burning with anxiety as she waited for the report to come in. With her fidgeting soft and delicate hands in her arms, the Queen couldn't help but to keep looking outside, at the balcony attached to her grand room. Usually at this hour, she had slept but today was exception. Ever since she found out that her niece was still alive, she had been itching to meet her in person and even protected her niece under her wide wing but she couldn't do that. Her husband...

In that moment of uneasiness and impatient, finally the person she had been waiting climbed into her room and immediately kneeled one knee down on the floor with her head bowed down. It was the girl in the white robe.

The girl was actually part of the shadow team that had been entrusted to guard the royal family's lives. The white majestic robe was their official uniform that represented the royal's authority seal hence whoever that came across them must give full cooperation or else they would be charged as the rebellious. The Queen had sent the girl to enquire the news about her niece but this order was done under a secret mission. Hence the girl needed to slip into the Queen's room without anyone noticed.

"Have you found her?" asked the Queen in a desperate tone.

"Your Majesty, Yes I've found Her Highness but due to my negligence she has ordered me to stay away from her and not to show myself before her eyes again. Please pardon my mistake, Your Majesty." The girl carefully spoke every words as if her life was hanging on each of them.

"What had happened? She knew... about us? Most importantly, is she alright?" The Queen kept bombarded the girl with many questions as she was too eager to know more about her niece. There was a clear joy on her flawless face especially her eyes... they were shining brightly. The Queen clasped her hands near her c.h.e.s.t and looked down on the girl with evident smile on her face.

"Her Highness... I believed she has been bullied in that school. When I met her, she was hiding at the training hall. I've yet to investigate the matter further in details so Your Majesty, please allow me to stay with Her Highness to guard her from any harms. The school isn't very suitable for Her Highness. She may experience hardsh.i.p.s along the way."

"Bully? Aaaa... is she.." The Queen was about to say something but she was cut off by a low male voice who piped in their conversation nonchalantly, "That's good. It's another reason why she should keep training there... My dear, didn't I tell you to not yet send someone to that school? Her identity will be blown off before the right timing. Do you want to put her in danger?"

Walked in, a man in his black plain pyjamas pair with wet hair seemed to be an ordinary man just finished shower, was actually the current head of the royal families - The King.

"Your Majesty." greeted the girl in the white robe as she turned her body towards the King's direction and kept her head lower than before.

"Darling... that child... she won't survive. She hasn't used to that kind of environment. I don't want to lose her anymore." rebuked the Queen. She was too soft-hearted on her niece. The child.. that she had not once laid her fingers on that child's skin but her love towards this child was overwhelming.

The King understood his wife very well and if he could, he also wanted to keep the child way from this power struggle war but... "The weight of her title is harsher than that school so she must make it till the end. If not, who's gonna continue our legacy if she couldn't survive in that school? To govern this country... it requires her to be stronger at least.. more than our enemy.."

"But she... dear, let's not pressure her. She has been away from us since she was a newborn. She..." The Queen started to shed tears. The corner of her light brown eyes was getting misty. The sorrow look had replaced her smile.

Seeing his wife getting emotional, the King came near the Queen and lightly patted her shoulder as to comfort her, "Oh dear, do you want the same bad incident happened again? We've lost our one whole family before and we don't want to lose another one. I believe in her ability. She had spent her twenty plus years as a normal citizen hence she knew what the people better than us. This gives her advantage as the next ruler."

The Queen felt more saddened hearing her husband mentioned about their family's past and the most tragic history. It didn't help to put her heart at ease but she became more worried about her niece that was far away from her sight. What if something happened before the shadow team could guarantee her safety? Wouldn't it be better if her niece came back to this castle and lived under their eyes? Haih.. Men really didn't know how to comfort women.

"Your Majesty, pardon me for interrupting but I have one more thing to report to you. Her Highness... she thought that I was a ghost when I met her just now. I didn't get to introduce myself... " The girl in white robe gently conveyed her report although she was at the risk of getting her own head beheaded for interrupting the King and the Queen without permission.

This piece of news made both the King and the Queen laughed contently. The Queen's sadness immediately washed away. Oh this child! She was already 24 years old but still scared of ghosts like a naive child that eagerly waited for Santa with his Rudolph gang to secretly send presents to the good children.
