OverGod Of Yggdrasil

Chapter 2 - Supreme God

Golden Nation, Fourth World, Heavenly Palace.

A few hours had passed since Shin woke up. At first, he was confused about what had happened. Wasn't he supposed to wake up inside the Yggdrasil Department Virtual Reality Capsule? So, why was he here?

In that time, what he had seen shocked him to his core. The many NPCs, pop and rewarded NPCs (Gacha), were walking around in the three lower floors.

They were acting like real people; some were talking happily with one another, arguing, even having dates. Overall, all the codes and data of the Guild had become real people, which was scary in itself.

The thing that Shin found interested was that these NPCs that he created were acting according to the data he had written into their backstories. The reason for this discovery was that he noticed one of his favorite NPCs, the King, and Queen of a city-kingdom on Earth, acting the way they were supposed to.

The King was Johnathan Ambrose, the King of the human race of Earth. He was a noble and loyal man that would do anything to improve the living condition of his race. For that reason alone, he was crown king.

Don't be fool by his small territory; don't think it was easy to conquer. If one tried to overcome it, one might as well try to conquer Death himself. As the only way, one would escape from this place would be in a body bag.

Queen Jennifer Ambrose was the Queen of the human race. She was designed to be a s.l.u.tty person who would have s.e.x with anyone if she could increase her status in the kingdom.

The reason Shin was sure that the NPC was acting according to their settings was that Jennifer was currently having s.e.x with the Crown Prince, John Ambrose, who happens to be her son, her real son. King Johnathan was standing behind the door, listening. Dark clouds surround his body, making his face seem gloomy like gray charcoal.

Shin had been shocked speechless as he watches the mirrors, he knew he had f.u.c.k.e.d up. He had created a f.u.c.k.e.d-up family that would, according to the settings he created, set off a wave of slaughter across the land, which would catch the attention of the Gods(Guardians of Each FLoor).

Shin had an idea of what was happening, of why he was in the game, but he wouldn't be sure if he didn't get confirmation.

In front of Shin was four crystal mirrors, which was the [ Mirror of Remote Viewing]. Each of the mirrors showed a scene of a floor.

*

The first of the four mirrors showed the scenes of Hell and the Underworld. In Hell, the northern part of the floor, demons, and devils could be seen walking around talking while torturing the many souls that moved inside.

The place had a massive palace in the center of it, with long walls that separated Hell into seven parts.

The other half of the floor, the Underworld, had many ghost and specters floating around, with many souls floating in the yellow river.

Since the yellow river broke up the land of the Underworld, many areas which in a sense became islands, had black temples on them. In the center of the Underworld, the most significant temple stood, surrounded by the glow of lanterns.

The second mirror showed the scenes of a world of seven continents, Earth. Each of these continents was each as big as the real deal, being a miracle. In the centermost continent, an empire span almost the entire land sat as if a sleeping beast.

The third mirror shows the scene of a world full of clouds that glowed golden in color. In this world, a continent was floating on the surface of the clouds. On the mainland, many cities shone like a light in the darkness with even more holy aura. In all the innumerable amount of towns, there were many temples, which house a giant man sitting on a black throne.

*

Shin dismisses the mirrors, before reclining on his throne, drumming his fingers on his armrest. ' For some reason, I was forced into the body of my avatar, becoming a Chaos Titan. From my earlier experiments, I can confirm that I'm not inside the game, as I can use all my senses, which the law forbid in my time. If I am a Chaos Titan, then that would mean that by extension, I have all my power. If I have my powers, I will have nothing to fear even if all the NPC's allied and rebel against me.'

Shin's grim expression loosen up slightly as he came to a realization. If he is indeed in the game avatar, that would mean he was either inside the game, which, considering he was a Chaos Titan at the moment, was most likely. However considering that he could sense everything unlike back in Yggdrasil, he was most likely inside a new universe.

Shin rubbed his chin, as his golden eyes narrowed faintly,' If this world is still game, I would be doom! I would lose all my authority as a dev, other than my particular job class, Rule Maker. On the other hand, if this world is real, then I could stay, no I will stay! I have nothing to look forward to back home, other than helping other creating new games.' Shin smiles faintly, as he decides to accept his faith. Coming to this conclusion, Shin [Teleported] to Earth.

The area he teleported to was dark, and cold as the tall ancient trees block out all the sun. Many birds, insect, and other animal noise covered the area, making space seem like a haven of wildlife.

This ancient forest is home to many lives, creatures. This forest is home to countless entities, like dragons, Demi-Humans, even one of the reclusive Wood Elves.

If Shin wasn't wrong, this continent is Wild Continent, where most beasts choose to live, far away from the rules of the other two continents. This continent was under the control of the Nature Alliance, who worshipped the Mother Goddess.

Only three of the seven continents were livable continents, with the rest as resource places. The continents are Wild Continent, Human Continent, and Alliance Continent.

Immediately after teleporting, Shin scanned the area, before closing his eyes, sensing the surrounding, using other methods than, the usual way, of seeing with one's eyes. In the mind of Shin, the entire forest disappeared, a green hue replacing its location.

Opening his eyes, Shin raises his hand and cast his spell [Summon: Frost Gaint]. This spell is a feature of the [Controller of All] job class. This job class allows the summoning of any creatures, but they must be of the Giant kind. To summon any other being, one must first form a contract, which can be accomplished either by force or willingness.

Shin with the [Controller of All] job class, can summon any giant type creatures, the limit being level 100 beings. The class also allows the summon creature to have an enchantment to their power.

As Shin magic work, many magical circles appeared, covering the entire area. The weather seems to change as the skies darkened as snow falls from the heavens.

The magic circles seem to rip a hole in reality, as a being of might step through it.

From the magic circles, a towering giant man steps out. The giant man was blue with frost surrounding its body, causing the air around it to become chilly.

The snow that came along with the Frost Gaint affect the area immediately. All trees in the coverage of the snow quiver as if winter came too suddenly. Leaves fell off the trees, making the area b.a.r.e and out of place in a field of trees.

The moment the Frost Gaint appeared completly, it immediately drops to its knees, looking deeply at the figure that was smaller than it's hand. However, the Frost Gaint didn't look down at the short man, as it knew better than anyone, that his summoner is far more potent than their imagination.

Examining the Frost Gaint or more accurate, looking down at the Frost Giant, Shin heart which he didn't know was nervous calm down since he knew his skills still work. As long as it works, all other things will naturally fall into place, sooner than later.

Looking at the Frost Gaint, Shin wonders what he should do with it. He didn't think much about the spell to use, so he uses the first spell that came to mind. The spell is a tenth tier spell that summons a permanent companion, to be the tank and healer of a team. However, the Frost Gaint is not very powerful as a weak level 85 player could quickly dispatch it.

"I hear and obey the orders of the Supreme God! I will protect the Mother Goddes at all cost! Shall I fail you, I shall burn in the flames of Hell!" The eyes of the Frost Gaint gleam with a crazy l.u.s.ter as its fanatical words echo in the forest.

*

Looking at the Frost Gaint that is running away, Shin faces pale, as he couldn't believe he summons a stupid Frost Gaint that just called him God and even calls his NPC wife Mother Goddess. If I was the Supreme God, I wonder how the real God would feel, would he be angry?

Oh, wait! I have the Supreme God title, could it be why he called me Supreme God? If that's so, why did he call Gaia Mother Goddess? Well, I guess because she is my wife? Probably!

Shin golden eyes look behind himself, as he spoke, " There is no need to hide, come out the two of you."

The area that he was looking at look ordinary, with trees and bushes. Nothing in the area seem suspicious by any means.

Seeing that no one is coming out, Shin frowned, his eyes amused before becoming cold as he spoke, " [Rule Maker] All That hide, must show themselves before me!"

The moment he spoke, the area around himself ripple like the surface of a calm lake, before disappearing with two people standing with their hands crossed over their c.h.e.s.t.

"Just like I thought, Gaia and Raul. How did you come behind me? I didn't sense any magic at all." Shin spoke curious, as even he didn't sense anyone behind him until he summons the Frost Gaint. After summoning the Frost Gaint, his massive amount of mana spread around the area, feeling two unknown presence.

'Hmm? Did he call me father? I did create the Guild with the idea of family in mind. All the rulers of each world are my children, child of me, Emperor Lain End Chaos, except Gaia, as she is my wife, Queen of the World Tree.'

" True, I'm currently not in my true form, plus I thought I was already far away from the Human Continent. But if what you say is true, then I'm curious, how did this come about? I didn't create such a feature." Shin knew that other guilds when they create their Floor Guardians, the Guardians, will have far more power than others of equal level inside their floors. Shin knew of this, so he had never created this feature, as he had more than one level 100 being on each floor.

"My Husband, let me answer that." The beautiful woman with long blue hair, short pointy elven ears, with curve draconic horns, ocean blues eyes, s.e.xy curve lips, this woman is the perfection beyond belief. She wore a light green one-piece dress that reaches her knees, leaving her calves b.a.r.e, crystal shoes.

' What a beautiful woman! I can't believe she is even more beautiful than when I created her. That the benefit of life.' Shin's eyes flash before recovering back to normal.

" My husband, I believe as you are the Supreme God, all things will try to please you, whether you like it or not."

"Oh, that would explain it,"

'So she believes because I'm the supreme God, I know everything? This blind faith will probably cause a lot of problems down the line; I will deal with it when the time arrives.'

" I understand. The reason I came here is to tell you that, I need the two of you to come to the Golden Nation's throne room, on the way, called the others as well, the family will gather together after a long time." Shin chuckle before teleporting away.

*

"I know, my husband had secluded himself in the Golden Nation for over thousands of years. He rarely ventures outside, and when he does, it's always for a good reason. Last time he was here, he created myriad races for me to watch over. Contrary to what the others believe, I'm incapable of doing such things." Gaia said with a shameful face, as she knew that the many beings on Earth believe her to be a goddess because of Shin, the Supreme God.

After all, how can a mortal be the mother of a Gods child? To the inhabitants of the World Tree Guild, the Norse Gods are not real gods at all, even though they were powerful. After all, they learn that their Supreme God, along with the other Supreme Gods were the ones behind Yggdrasil; they also create the Norse Gods.

" I wonder what the reason behind the meeting is. " Raul green eyes glow with determination as he spoke, " I thought if we went with my plan of sneaking up him, he would punish me. However, to think that he would allow us to go to his world. Going to his world will be the first."

Raul was the second to last youngest child of the Supreme God, and in his long immortal life, he had only spent less than a day with him. So it could be understood why he wanted his father love and approval.

"You are always like that, scheming, having everything go your way. To achieve this, you even involve me in your plan. But I'm happy nonetheless, I don't get enough time with my children these days. I'm either, watching or guiding a race that's close to extinction back to their peak." The most important thing in her life, as a mother was her children, for them, there was nothing she wouldn't do.

"It's not scheming, and I'm just a son that wants to be recognized by his father, especially considering that my father is the Supreme God. Mother, what do you think this meeting will be the focus on? Father calls it, a family reunion, but we know he has something important to discuss." Raul was an emperor alright, so he knew that for someone like a God to call for a meeting, it would have a far-reaching impact.

"Probably something that could cause a change in the World Tree. This change might be a good thing; Diana had been getting bored with her jobs; she needs a break."

"I need one as well, being emperor is good and all, however, considering that nothing ever changes on Earth, it's boring after a thousand years."

*

Sitting back on his throne, Shin recalls his meeting with the two NPCs. From their behavior, he can conclude that the NPCs are loyal to himself. Which would probably mean that the others are as well, even if they are not, it serves no harm to himself.

Sitting on his throne, Shin uses the Observation Mirror of the Guild, to see the situation outside. Looking outside, what Lain saw cause his eyes to pop out of the sockets.

The Observation Mirror could be said to be an upgrade of the Mirror of Remote Viewing. The only two differences were that the Observation Minor was bound to the Guild, and can only work in the Guild. The other is that it can see infinity far, the only requirement being mana, which he happens to have an infinite amount of.

Outside the Guild, there is a river of stars. While looking situation outside the Guild, he saw his World Tree standing erect in the depths of space, its root digging deep into the fabric of spacetime. On its four giant branches, four worlds reside.

Other than stars, planets, moons, even continents were floating in the fabric of space. Most of these planets and continents were dead, no life present on them. The distance from the planets, continents, and the World Tree is if he knows his astrology correctly, is light-years away.

However consider that he could use, magic to teleport to them, the distance was as small as a single step. Seeing that the many stars, Shin knew he wasn't in the game anymore, he was in a new universe.

Shin was about to stop the Observation Mirror; however, before he could, he saw far beyond the planets and continents, he saw a world that had life.

The planet was twice the size of Earth, with only one grand continent floating on the surface of a crystal clear ocean.

Although he couldn't see much from the Observation Mirror, he could he see that the world was in the middle ages. The horse was pulling carriages, people using swords as they patrol the streets. Shin stops the Observation mirror as he felt light-headed.
