Second Chance: Overlord

Xion could see a different scene from the other two disciples. He was intimidated by the Demonic Energy that came from the old and feeble looking Master Kon. What a powerful being. This couldn't be human.

"System analyze…" Xion told the system as his curiosity was picked.

"What…?" Xion couldn't believe his eyes, he had never heard of a Divine Celestial potential rate. His cultivation and body state are unknown, how could it be? Was his cultivation that much higher than Xion's?

"This is Master Kon, kneel…" Ares hollered as his roar made even Xion kneel.

If he were to act out now, things won't be too good for Xion. He was sure the two dumbasses that came before him have no idea just what kind of entity stands before them.

But he knew. And that was enough to have him breathing a bit hard. Someone that even Xion could not begin to comprehend. Why wasn't this Master Kon the Director of the school? Why was he only a teacher?

"Well, well, seems like we caught some good disciples this year, I hope you don't disappoint..." Master Kon said with a feeble smile as he passed his gaze over the three disciples they had recruited this year.

It was a strange batch, there was even one whose cultivation could not be determined. No Aura to be seen unless the boy wanted to. Such a talent, earlier, Master Kon saw the aura around Xion, his eyes see all, but now he couldn't see shit.

The other two had a very peculiar aura, one of destruction the other of chaos. These auras would only appear once every thousand years. Both their Potential are also S ranked. Not a bad batch for Master Kon.

Xion was a bit nervous about what was unfolding. He hated kneeling but that roar made him lose strength. He was wrong on his previous prediction, it wasn't a descendant.

It's the old Master of the Wave of Life Sect, Master Kon. This person helped flourish and bring glory to the whole sect. Nobody can measure up to this Master's greatness. Xion wanted to greet him properly but they made the mistake of forcing him to kneel.

His dark purple aura began protecting Xion. It felt very powerful, more than ever after last night's cultivation session. He used the aura to reinforce his muscles and got up glaring at Ares and Master Kon.

"You shouldn't make people kneel, be humble, you might be making the mistake of forcing someone who doesn't wish to kneel to anyone…" Xion said his eyes cold, even colder than Ares.

It wasn't darkness that overwhelmed Master Kon, Ares and the other two disciples. It was the incredibly bloodl.u.s.t, such rage was unseen for two of them.

Master Kon and Ares previously fought in the Sect Wars, they knew that this boy had the talent to become a War Emperor. How interesting, Master Kon never thought he would have a chance to mold such a talent.

Ares walked towards Master Kon and whispered something into his ear. The old master's eyes widened as he heard whatever Ares passed on to him. If it was true than, Master Kon had to convince this Xion to compete for his current title.

Thinking of having to pass on the title to a Demon felt rather unpleasant because they would just change everything and ruin the current stability Master Kon worked so hard to achieve. Master Kon was sure they would ruin it because he had been present for the rulership of Demon King Asura.

In no way could dictatorship become the way again. Xion is a child Master Kon understood that, but the kid was a genius. Xion could be taught.

But, first Master Kon needed to see and understand Xion's current combat level. It wasn't all about being smart, physical strength and cultivation are also something necessary.

"Alright, let's begin, you will all face a Senior I chose from the academy, whoever loses gets replaced by mentioned Senior. Please make sure to not kill, as killing is against academy rules." Master Jon explained with eyes of anticipation set on all three.

First Senior to appear was last year's most talented Liam. His Qi was also unique, Swift it was called. Many people envied Liam thanks to him having such a powerful Martial Art Aura.

He was great at movements and speed. He could swiftly move fast enough to make it feel like teleportation. In reality Senior moved so fast that it appears like his teleporting.

"Liam will fight against Jun with the Chaos Aura…" Ares said following Master Kon's instructions.

Liam walked calmly into the stage staring down Jun who was nervous. Jun had never fought seriously before, this was the first time he felt like really kicking a.s.s.

He had gone through a rough time with his family and had lots of pent-up anger. It was time to let loose. June began slightly jumping from side to side with an onothordox stance as he glared back and taking a deep breath focusing on the Senior.

The Senior smiled as he looked at the threatening golden aura around Jun. Senior Liam had never seen such and aura before. It seems like it was Liam's first time battling against a person with unique Qi.

"What are you waiting for? A polite invitation?" Jun asked c.o.c.kily intending to taunt Liam.

"I'm giving you the first move rookie…" Liam said apathetically not bothered by the words.

That's when Jun got taunted. How could Liam not care? Jun was meant to be the tried Warrior God.

Jun began using Qi to shroud his fists in order to strengthen his impact power. He continued by shrouding his feet to add to his explosive speed and he then let it rip.

Speeding towards Liam who stood there motionless and apathetically. Jun go thrown of by this surely this is a lot of power to defend against. Why wasn't Liam doing any preparations?

Suddenly Jun got his answer, the powerful fist shrouded in Qi and of the unique Chaos Aura which enhanced the power even more was stopped with one handed. A gust of wind passed through Liam as an Aftershock of the strikes power.

Jun didn't stop there, once his fist was caught he kicked Liam which surprised the Senior a bit making him smile. But, he reacted quickly with his demon-like reflexes Xion saw it all and was fairly impressed.

'And yet you still fall short to my epicness…' Xion thought to himself with a smile.

He could follow every movement made by the two. But, Liam had something Xion didn't. It was the devilish instinct, it was like Liam could see the future the way he followed Jim's bullet like movements.

Even though Jun was an amazing rookie Liam found it boring to fight against someone effortlessly. He is expecting to have at least one round of fun or he might just go crazy from the lack of competition in the Moonlight Academy.

Liam is about to graduate, from the begging of his time in the Moonlight Academy only his master could rival him. But, he had been alineated thanks to his intimidating talent.

*Boom*

Liam grew bored and threw a punch that was clearly suppressed and sent Jun flying into the wall causing web-like cracks to appear on the wall.

Jun was destroyed with one strike. Such power was something Xion wished to contend with. Xion knows he falls short to Liam, but he could probably last a bit more than the others.
