Master Kon was also impressed with Liam's performance. Everyone knows how talented the boy is, but there haven't been many contenders so Master Kon couldn't accurately set a valid evaluation of Liam.

Now seeing this, Master Kon finally understood why there are no contenders. This child is indeed special the Celestial Azure Qi Aura is evidence of it. To think that such a monster would appear in the Moonlight Academy of all places.

"Winner of the fight is LIAM!" Ares announced from the judges seats.

Xion was impressed he quickly grabbed Jun before he touched the floor and took him to the sidelines. The nurses and doctors quickly began healing.

Everyone just saw the increíble feat. How Xion moved towards Jun as if teleporting and taking him to the infirmary. Master Kon, Ares and the rest were shocked, nobody could completely follow Xion.

"Ares, that boy is special…" Master Kon said widening his eyes and grabbing Ares by the shoulder.

"Yes, he was able to unlock the Token as well." Ares said with a peculiar smile of wanting to fight Xion for real as well.

After ten minutes Ares announced the next fight. It was time for Xion to face Liam.

This type of relaying match required that one be defeated before coming off stage. After one team member loses that's when the next comes up. If Xion is able to defeat Liam then the next Senior would come up to face Xion.

"BEGIN!!" Ares screamed announcing the start of the fight.

Xion didn't move and stood there calmly as the black galaxy-like aura began shrouding his whole body and heavy pressure pushed everyone down a bit.

Liam was different he shrouded himself in his Celestial Azure Qi Aura and protected himself.

But he was riled up to the extreme. He couldn't help but smile. Seeing the look on Xion's face made him realize how lucky he is at the moment. That look spoke of death, true power and talent. This freshman in front of him is probably going to give him a challenge.

"It seems like young Ares has found a Challenger to contend his power…" Master Kon said stroking his chin as he seriously observed the fight from above.

"He-he Xion..!!" Ares was thrilled, excited, if only he could jump in and have a fair one-on-one with Xion!

He wanted to fight now too. Xion riled him up with such powerful bloodl.u.s.t. The feeling Ares has when he feels the incredible murderous intent that Xion keeps oozing like crazy, he quickly remembers of the war between the Wave of Life Sect and the Crown Reapers Sect.

That time he fought with the Elders of the Crown Reapers Sect and slashed them with his sword was one of his best days. Fighting against cultivators who wanted to take his life with all their might, exhilarating.

Auras kept colliding in the ring where Xion stood his ground against the Liam.

"Your fun to have a battle of auras with…." Liam said with a very excited smile on his face. He was almost blushing from the excitement.

"…but are you fun enough to be able to battle a monster in close-combat?" As soon as Liam finished his words he practically flew towards Xion.

All everyone could see was how both Liam and Xion suddenly disappeared together with all the excess Qi Aura oozing out from earlier.

*Bam*

Two fists clashed in the middle of the stage causing ripples and Aftershock destruction behind both of them. They continued punching….

*Bam, bam, bam*

Everytime their fists made contact it felt earth-shattering. Everyone was stumped, how could a rookie match Liam? Had another monster come to the Moonlight Academy?

After hearing Ares mention that Xion was able to decipher the puzzle. Master Kon knew that this boy wasn't normal, but to have had already reached the peak of the King Realm at such an early age is simply outstanding!

Xion and Liam kept exchanging blows like crazy. Until Liam changed the rhythm and began throwing combos of strikes and kicks finally pushing Xion back.

Xion used this opportunity to draw his sword. It seemed like the match was becoming dangerous. Master Kon stood and yelled "NO WEAPONS…!!". It was a very powerful voice packed with power, it echoed and re-vibrated in everyone's ears.

Xion quickly understood weapons are against the rules. Than he had to use the Martial Art Technique be had bought last night. It was called [Reapers Martial Arts].

Swiftly Xion began throwing bullet like fist that packed so much Demonic Ki it might go nuclear. Liam could barely dodge as he rolled on the ground Xion used the opportunity to speed towards Liam and knee him on the face sending him flying into the wall creating a hole.

Liam angrily got up and sprinted towards Xion who retaliated with a fist charged with Demonic Aura.

*Boom*

It made incredible impact as it hit Liam straight in the face sending him flying again. This time Liam was rendered unconscious. This is the day Liam suffered his first setback and humiliation by a rookie.

Xion was able to win thanks to his Demonic Aura which multiplies his power by the three. Meaning his King Realm strength reaches the first stage of King Gold Realm. All in all the power of Xion's strike is far more powerful than Liam's current cultivation base.

The people who witnessed the battle were shocked. They hadn't expected that Xion would be so much more powerful than Liam. Master Kon was now sure that the boy could participate in the battle for his current title.

Liam was angry, he hated Xion for humiliating him in such a way. He was sure that Xion has to had to cheated, Liam wouldn't have lost if that wasn't the case. But, he couldn't prove it so he just had to plan a way to take that cheater down.

After the battle ended the rest that happened was predictable. Master Kon decided to take Xion as a personal Disciple while Jun became Ares's disciple which frustrated Ares a bit. He really wanted Xion as a Disciple.

The other girl named Alex was chosen by the strongest Senior who is also a woman her name is Daliah. Daliah seemed to be having some friction with Xion for some reason. What did he do to receive such a scary look from her?

"Well, whatever, if you wanna fight, we should fight." Xion said to himself as Daliah faded through the exit of the battlegrounds.

"She is quite unique as well, but I have a feeling you are also very talented Young Master Quinn…" Master Kon said as he walked closer to Xion from behind.

"Master Kon…" Xion bowed respectfully to his new Master. A teacher is a father for life, so Xion treated Master Kon with the respect he deserves.

"Ha ha, smart boy, do not worry with pleasantries my dear disciple, focus on your training and all will be good…" Master Kon explained as he signaled Xion to follow him.

They walked along a corridor in silence. The smell of roses and some other flowers was spreading through the hall. Master Kon seemed to like the smell he seemed so happy. Even though Xion wasn't bothered, he didn't much care for it either.

As they walked a light appeared at the end of the corridor. What surprised Xion was what awaited outside, such a scene was not something he expected to see.

Xion was sure it was still daytime three hours ago, the day was just starting. How could it be possible that it was now night and the full moon flew above his head. The sky was full of stars and around him was a forest with thick mist that clouded him from looking past the first three to four trees.

"Welcome to your new training grounds, this is, the Moonlight Battlegrounds.…" Master Kon said with a smile on his face that spoke thousands of words.
