Where You Are

"Look, cotton candy!" I say pointing at a small stand. There was a small line, so I took Min-Joon's hand and ran towards it.

"You like cotton candy?" Min-Joon asked me.

"It's the most important candy that you must buy, when you go to a theme-park" I say. Min-Joon chuckled and paid for one. I planned on paying for it but, I have no problem with him paying. That means I get to keep my pocket money a little longer.

I take handfuls of it and offer some to Min-Joon. He takes it and nods. As we continue walking he ends up taking pieces of cotton candy without asking me. After a while, we ended up sharing it.

"It's been a while and we still haven't found them" I said worriedly. I hope they didn't leave or think we ditched them on purpose. I saw Min-Joon look up. I tried to follow his gaze. He was looking at the ferris wheel.

"It might be easier to find them if we look for them from up there" he said.

I felt a bit uncomfortable with that idea. I've seen enough dramas to know that ferris wheel's are for couple scenes. That is specifically reserved for Yu-Na and Min-Joon.

"Um…Min-Joon" I can just say no but then I'll have to explain why I said 'no' and then there will definitely be an awkward atmosphere between us.

Suddenly, just like clockwork I heard someone yell my name. Min-Joon and I turned around and there was Dae-Hyun with Yu-Na.

"We were looking everywhere for you guys" Dae-Hyun said.

"We were so worried" Yu-Na added.

"We were looking for you guys" I said, "And on the way we won these tickets for a trip to a nice hotel by the beach" I showed them the tickets and the pamphlet "Shall we all go?" I ask.

I nod with excitement and urge Dae-Hyun, with my eyes, to agree with me. He nods "I'd love to. Sounds fun" he said.

I look at Yu-Na, but she is staring at Min-Joon. I think she wants at least a nod from him, to show that he wants her to go, but he is as expressionless as always.

"Yu-Na, please come" I say while pouting "I'd really enjoy having another girl on this field trip"

Yu-Na once again seems hesitant but still agrees.

"This'll be great" I say happily. I take Dae-Hyun's arm and we continue walking around. Min-Joon and Yu-Na right behind us.

"Today might have been a disaster but we still have the beach" I say with a determined expression.

"Are you sure you want to match them?" Dae-Hyun asked me "Min-Joon doesn't seem at all interested and when I talked to Yu-Na about him she was pretty honest that she liked him, but she's pretty sure he won't like her, so she's decided to give up on him.

I look at Dae-Hyun shocked. The female lead can't give up on the male lead! That's impossible. I groan in frustration. Just when I think I found a solution to a problem, another one arises.

"I'll get those two together. If it's the last thing I do" I say, determined.

"Why are you so determined to get them together?" Dae-Hyun asked.

"They just make a really cute couple" I say "She makes him a better man"

Dae-Hyun looks behind us. Min-Joon has a scowl on his face and Yu-Na is looking down.

"Um…" Dae-Hyun was about to say something but decided not to.

We spent the rest of the day eating junk food, going on other rides and Dae-Hyun and I tried our best to keep a fun atmosphere going.

We managed to get Min-Joon to smile and Yu-Na talked a lot more. She and Min-Joon even talked a lot more. Dae-Hyun and I were even ignored as the two of them talked. We didn't pay much attention to what they said, we were just happy that they forgot we existed.

Dae-Hyun and I even kept out distance but never really disappearing because they didn't want us to separate like we did a while ago.

As the day was coming to close we all decided to head out. As we walked, Dae-Hyun asked me "Why didn't you wear what you told me you would?"

I thought back to when he asked me what I was going to wear. He asked me the same thing Min-Joon did. What is the problem with guys as clothes? Aren't these things a girl is supposed to worry about?

"It's been bothering me since this morning" he added.

"Seriously?! You've been thinking about that all day?" I'm shocked. Just, wow "I changed my mind the last second" I said.

When we reached the gates Yu-Na said "So, I guess this is goodbye"

"For now," I correct her. She smiles.

"Oh. I almost forgot. Did you decide on your wish?" Yu-Na asked me "You won the go kart race after all. Min-Joon owes you a wish"

A smile forms across my face "I wish for two wishes" I say. Yu-Na and Dae-Hyun start to laugh. Min-Joon looks surprised but lets out a chuckle.

"Is he a genie?" Dae-Hyun asked as he laughed.

"Well, aren't you cheeky?" Min-Joon said to me "Then what is your first wish?"

"Dae-Hyun's song is really good. We found a boy group that's willing to sing it, they even have a choreography set and Yu-Na has radio DJ contacts that are willing to run the song" I say.

Dae-Hyun and Yu-Na look at each other worried. I have to admit, I'm a little worried myself. Min-Joon didn't want our help when I offered it. He might not change his mind. As I am about to ask for my wish Min-Joon says "I know"

All three of us look at him surprised "There's nothing that happens at LV Entertainment that I don't know about" Min-Joon said.

"If you knew we were planning to help you why didn't you try to stop us or acknowledge it?"

"I did acknowledge it. If it wasn't for me you wouldn't have gotten the boy group or a choreography, let alone a radio station to play the song"

"Hold up" Dae-Hyun said, "You knew we were asking for people to sing my song and made everyone I asked to reject me except that boy group?"

Min-Joon nodded.

"Really? You'd rather have gone through all that than say yes at the beginning?"

"What? Its good work experience" Min-Joon said.

Yu-Na scoffed which made me chuckle and my chuckle made Dae-Hyun laugh. The three of us start laughing. Min-Joon joins us.

"I hate you so much right now" I tell Min-Joon as I laugh. Yu-Na and Dae-Hyun agreed then we all went to hug Min-Joon.

"You're not such a bad person after all" Dae-Hyun said.

"Yep, he just likes playing mean" I say.

That's how our theme-park day ended.
