Where You Are

Chapter 44 - Up to you

It has been a few days since the theme-park. Everyone has been working hard to make Dae-Hyun's song a success. The boy group is working even harder, after all, this song will be their debut.

I was walking by the choreography room, to check on the boy group. I saw them sitting down drinking some water and laughing while other's were still practicing some moves.

I felt happy for them.

I was going to go on my way, but I heard one of them yell "Noona!"

I looked over to them and they were waving excitedly at me. They even ran towards me.

"Hey!" I said. I didn't really want them to see me. I wasn't wearing enough make-up and I wasn't wearing dress but a suit.

Why is it that when I look the worst is when I meet attractive people?

"What are you doing here, noona?" another of them asked.

"Just checking on you guys, on your progress. You are all really good dancers" I say. The guys look down with smiles. Some of them even seem to blush.

"You give us too much credit" another one said.

"Well of course I should, you are all part of LV Entertainment. You are here because you all worked extremely hard and I'm really proud of all of you"

The boys seemed sad and one of the guys seemed he was about to cry "No one's told me that before" he said. I felt sad for them, I didn't know what their situations were, but I know the life of an idol is hard and they all go through rigorous training for years.

I go to the one that's about to cry and hug him. He seems shocked by this but hugs me back. One of the guys say group hug and suddenly I'm surrounded by really attractive and sweaty guys.

They offer to show me their choreography. Even though they still haven't learned all the moves yet. I agreed and I saw them dance and lip-sync. When they lip-synched to the song, they all looked at me when they sang. I fell in love with all of them. Not literally but I sure became their number one fan.

Some of them stumbled and the others forgot their next moves but all in all, they were great.

I applauded them and cheered "You guys just got yourselves your first fan" I said. They smiled at me.

"You really mean it?" they asked.

"You really liked us?" one asked.

"You guys were awesome" I answered, "I can't wait to see you guys on a stage" I patted all of them on the head and headed out "Fighting!" I said.

"Fighting!" they cheered back.

I headed back upstairs to Min-Joon. When I opened the office door I saw Ae-Ra and Min-Joon talking. She was leaning over, staring straight at him while he was sitting down staring back at her.

Both of them looked towards me. I waved at them forcing a smile. The atmosphere seemed tense and it looked like Min-Joon didn't want to talk to her, so I took decided to lie.

"Mr. Lee, the meeting is starting soon" I told him with a smile. He seemed to understand what I was getting at so, he smiled back.

"I completely forgot about that. Thank you Hannah" he said. He got up from his seat and I walked towards him handing him his jacket.

"This conversation isn't over Min-Joon" Ae-Ra said. She and I made eye-contact. If looks could kill, I'd be dead. Min-Joon went out the door first, as I made my way out the door, Ae-Ra called out my name.

"Hannah" I turned around and heard words that I didn't expect to hear from her "Don't get too comfortable in that position of yours. You'll be gone soon enough"

Its like she was threatening me, but the second female lead only threatens the female lead and tries to be nice to everyone else. That's what they do, they are closet bitches.

"I'm a fill in secretary, so this position isn't permanent" I told her "And even if I was comfortable. My lie has nothing to do with you, so I'd appreciate it if you kept your distance" I smile at her, but she was glaring at me.

"Hannah, hurry up!" Min-Joon yelled from down the hall.

"Have a good day Miss" I say and bow then I rush to Min-Joon's side.

"What took you so long?" he asked me. I didn't see any reason to lie to him. He should know she isn't a nice person.

"Ae-Ra was just telling me to not get too comfortable, that I'll be gone soon" I said "It sounded like a threat, but I didn't take it to heart. I mean, I don't even know her" I wanted to sound like I thought she was joking, while also making sure that he knew she was threatening me.

It seemed to work because his jaw clenched, and his hands turned to fists. I didn't think he'd be that bothered by it.

I tug on his jacket and ask him if he'd like to go eat. Food always calms people down. He grins at her.

"I know a good Italian restaurant" he told me "Should we go?" he asks as he takes my hand and leads me to his car. I'm surprised by his sudden action, but I make him let go. He looks at his hand, then back at me. He seemed a bit shocked. Was he sad that I took my hand away from him? I guess he's not used to people rejecting him so straightforwardly.

"Since I asked you to eat, why don't we go somewhere I want to go?" I ask him.

Min-Joon scoffs "Okay, its up to you" he says. He opens the passenger door for me, but I shake my head and close it.

"Since you promised, don't regret it" I said as I take his hand. I notice his cheeks flush red but I think it must have been the light, he wouldn't blush because of me "There's a nice restaurant nearby" I add.

Once we arrive to the restaurant, Min-Joon doesn't seem amused. He seems a bit disgusted, really.
